This tale is about kinky sex and the narrator’s growing addiction to it as he joins in BDSM orgies, sharing masochistic Tricia and Ann with their husbands. As the ‘drug’ takes hold he never misses an opportunity to indulge. When Tricia is cast aside by her husband and turns to him for help, he takes full advantage of her submissiveness, but a surprise awaits him.
Yes, there is definitely a difference in erotica written by and for cis-women and erotica written by and for cis-men. This is the latter; the internal monologue comes off as very egotistical and navel gaze-y, the purpose of sex is to please the man. While I liked that the women were diverse in ethnicity and body shape, I felt like many of them were stereotypes and started to lose depth when the main character lost interest in them. All in all, I was not the target demographic and I found myself skipping passages and chapters. Straight cis-men that are interesting in reading porn instead of watching it would love this book.
