Great read if....you enjoy novellas, quick reads, hot scenes, and falling in love.

Side note: WHOA. There were a couple, wtf moments and they made this story totally worth the read. Can not believe that ending and need to know what happens next!

Housewife: Laundromat Chronicles

Rating: 4 stars

Amanda has it all from the outside, but what's happening behind closed doors are nothing to be envious of. A cheating husband who flaunts it in her face. She stays because she has to, but soon fate will have a way of waking her up.

Having to visit the local laundromat, Amanda will meet Jase (who we previously met in Widow) and her life will forever change.

I enjoy how every novella we get more and mo

Another amazing Chronicle in this series. In Housewife we get to know more about how Amanda came to be at the Laundromat on Saturday nights. We learn of her marriage, her life as a child and with her “husband” and of course of her time with Jase and their hopes for the future. But will that future pan out or is she headed for a downfall? These novellas are short so it’s hard to not give away too much. So I'll will simply say, if you haven’t read them you need to grab them and catch up. I can’t w ...more

I'm going to start the review put by saying just how freaking bad I would have loved to have went through my kindle and chocked the living hell pit of Scott!!
Amanda and Jase has the oddest relationship because of what they have gone through in the lives. I am so glad the author gave us a peek into the life of Am

This is the fifth novella in the Laundromat series. This is Amanda's story. And wow, just wow. I want to kill her husband Scott. He is such a huge douchebag. I usually don't like cheaters, but with Amanda, I can completely understand why she cheated on Scott with Jase. They are complete opposites. Jase is such a great guy. He's been through a lot with losing his wife and son in a car accident. Jase's novella did end with a cliffhanger. We now know what happened and I will say that my jaw dropped ...more

Housewife (Laundromat Chronicles) by Angie Merriam
Book 5 in the series and once again Ms Merriam has blown me away. This is Amanda and Jase’s story and what a story it is. I usually hate cheaters but I can fully understand why Amanda cheated on her husband. You will want to kill him yourself. This story really guts you and just when you think Amanda is strong enough to leave Scott for Jase, Scott throws her a curveball that you don’t see coming – wow what a shocker. Amazing how Ms Merriam has in

We learned Jase's story, now we get to see how Amanda's life is a total nightmare. We will learn how her husband plays a huge part of her clandestine relationship with Jase.

Once again Jase and Amanda will melt your heart and feeling sorry and wishing the best for them. The love this two have for one another is so strong you can feel their souls connecting and healing.
This book deals with situations that might offend some readers. Please remember this are fictional charac

This is the fifth novella in the Laundromat series. This is Amanda's story and boy was I angry reading this book. I wanted to reach inside my kindle and slap the every loving crap out of Scott. Who the hell does he think he is. Ok my rant is over. I could totally feel for Amanda and when I got to the end of this short book I was in tears with my jaw hanging open. I can't say I loved this novella of this series but I am glad that some questions were answered but it did prompt more questions. I ca ...more

This is an amazing series. I'm loving getting to know all the characters from the Laundromat separately. This book Housewife is about Amanda.

Shes married to a person at one time she loved and cared for but after a short while she saw him for what he really was. Realizing all that she was there for was arm candy and to look pretty. After meeting Jace she starts to feel wanted, cherished.

But that ending... Holy crap I never saw that coming... Angie I'm seriously needing Life right now to see how

I was born and raised in the small town of Klamath Falls. It is there that I met my husband and had my first two children. In 1999 we left Klamath Falls, headed towards Portland. I have since had one more child and have settled in Newberg. I worked as a waitress in a French Bistro for nearly five years before quitting to help care for my ill grandmother. It was during my care of her that I decided ...more
