this book provided some fascinating insights into not only management but leader positions.
I read this book at the recommendation of my father. and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was both helpful in understanding not only business, but leadership as well. although the book has many disagreeable philosophical ideas on management. I believe it to have many great insights from men who is very well informed.
finally I rate this book with three stars as the structure (of at least the copy I read) was unbearable. the book was no more than 157 pages long, but I was horrified to find that it in fact contains 70 chapters. now I am not one to be bothered too much by the structure of a book, especially it's intentionally done for story purposes like house of leaves. but this book suffered from poor structure diminishing its informative value.

Some good stuff here. A very quick read. Go back to it over time. Good for new managers

Not a particularly memorable book, likely because it is not very original, as most books in this category. The complexities of management are condensed to 70 principles spanning some 150 pages. The editing is on par with the caliber of the ideas exposed, so that one can read things such as "Their is no way...".
