I was gifted this book from another chaplain spouse. This was the most comprehensive, helpful book I’ve come across as a new Army spouse. Even though many websites and names or acronyms are dated, this book has helped me understand Army life and the resources available for support, benefits, Army structure, helpful tips - everything needed to acclimate to this unique lifestyle. I was searching for a similar book for non-chaplain spouses - enlisted soldiers’ spouses - but could not find anything as comprehensive and helpful. I’ve ended up buying this book for them and just let them know that while this is written for chaplain spouses, most of the information can be applied Army wide.
