If you can stomach descriptions of bull-fighting in exchange for a sad love story, this book is worth the read. I also have a personal memory tied to the very last line of this book, but it would be crappy of me to write out the last line, even though it wouldn't exactly be a spoiler, so I won't. If you're dying to know you can turn to the last page first, but then you'll probably wonder ... what the hell is Jodie talking about and you'll have to email me and I may or may not tell you what I'm talking about. I realize that this review is probably pretty worthless.

Not sure what edition I read, but one of my favorite all time books.

I just realized Hemingway writes using more detail than we really need. I guess that is my last Hemingway book for a while.
