There's good content here (although it's fairly short), but the book badly needs an editor -- both for the prose and to restructure/reformat for Kindle. It's inexpensive and there isn't much other literature out on this important topic, so I'm giving it an extra star.

Most of the material in the book is generic (but solid) shooting and awareness fundamentals.

It basically reads like a set of lecture notes which would go well with a class taught by the instructor, but not ideal as a stand-alone. I'

Gerald made a good effort. His desire to provide instruction to as many people possible is admirable. Unfortunately, his preparation, forethought and professionalism in combatives doesn't translate over to his writing. Having someone, really anyone, proofread the book prior to publishing would have gone a long way. Grammar errors and poor sentence structure were distracting and made parts hard to follow (which is kinda important when writing life-saving tips). Using the wrong

Good information

Was good 👍 information. Gave basic instructions for a starter. Great fundamentals. Even some outside the box thinking. Good tips for practice.
