A bit cursory for me, but the author supplies generous sources for those wanting more exhaustive depth on the subject.

Lots of great information in this book. Currently using the contents for a research project in my American Medical History course. The book is laid out in such a way that makes it easy to flip right to the herb of interest. Also includes a user friendly index.
