Recommends it for: people who don't ask a lot of questions about plot and character development.
i don't want to give anything away, but i think this was a bit disappointing.

****SPOILER ALERT*****

okay, so the first thing you should know is that the main character totally dies, BUT, and this is the main problem, in my view, he is miraculously and inexplicably brought back to life, only to disappear into thin air. so what was this, a dream? and there was no way for the reader to figure out who did it. the author totally drops a deus ex machina in there at the end, wrapping up everything a lit

More of a historical layout of the Bible, with sometimes opposing views on how important/realistic the writings are. I was hoping for more of a general understanding of the major stories and morals that are culturally referenced, but instead got a somewhat confusing history lesson.
