Can a few hours really change your life?

Jillian Jones knows a thing or two about the country music scene, and she wants no part of it after divorcing her country singer ex-husband. But as fate would have it, she’s seated next to country legend Cole Pendleton on a red-eye flight home to Nashville from Las Vegas. Between her emotional state, her fear of flying, and maybe a

3.5-ish stars. Cole and Jillian is the third of the contemporary romance novellas that I picked up as a Kindle freebie package. I enjoyed how all three stories have a connection to music, but in very different ways. This one has a country western star as the hero, so if you like the celebrity romances, it'll be up your alley.

Cole and Jillian meet when they're seated next to each other on a plane. Jillian is heading back from Las Vegas, where she got a divorce from her two-timing musician husband

This was a fun one! I always get a kick out of celebrity stories like this, not sure why. It's fun seeing that side of things I suppose, and maybe its because of a couple harmless celebrity crushes I may have. haha

Jillian Jones has been burned pretty badly by her ex, a somewhat famous singer. She swears she will never enter that world again or ever fall for someone famous. Certainly not the country superstar Cole Pendalton. He reminds her too much of her ex. When they have a chance encounter and

It's so easy to judge--especially when life has given you good reasons to believe certain things about a type of person. Jillian is coming off a bad divorce from a country music star and finds herself sitting next to another country music star on a flight across the country. According to the tabloids, he's not much different from her ex, so why should she give him a chance, even though there is obvious chemistry between them? That flight--phew--let's just talk about some swoony sparks flying rig ...more

I did not plan on reading this book tonight. I turned on my Kindle intending to put on something to listen to while I cleaned my house. Cole and Jillian was the newest book listed and I opened it thinking I'd just read the first chapter and then get to work. Ha! My plans to do dishes and finish the laundry went out the window. Reading just the first chapter was not possible with this book. I soon found myself curled up in bed reading and I didn't stop reading or move from my cozy spot until I fi ...more

January 2018:

What a perfect Sunday read! Now I want to reread all of Jennifer's books again! Hehe.

May 2017:

*dreamy sigh* I don't know who I love more, Beck or Cole! It's too tough of a choice so I will choose both! ;) Hehe. This series is still AMAZING and I still LOVE it! Definitely a MUST read!

October 2016:

Jillian has been hurt in the worst way by her country singer ex-husband. After being cheated on, lied to and made to feel invisible, she refuses to ever put herself in that position again.

Jillian Jones was married to Danny for twelve years. But when the winner of Nashville Has Talent, let fame go to his head and he started using drugs and cheating on her, Jillian divorced him. She loves her job as a physical therapist for an orthopedic group, going to her own home everyday after work and working in her yard on the weekends. She doesn't want to get involved with another country music star, but she can't get Cole Pendleton, who she kissed on a flight from Las Vegas to Nashville, ou ...more

It's always a happy day when I get another book from Jennifer Peel! I started reading this book the day I got it because I just didn't want to wait.

I love this Pianos and Promises series. Every book so far has been fantastic! My only complaint is that they are over too soon. I always want more! Such is the case with Cole and Jillian. I wanted more.

Cole is a man reformed. He made some mistakes. Big mistakes. But, he has now made changes and his life is back on track. His sincerity rings true on e

I feel very lucky to have snagged an ARC of Cole and Jillian. I had just read the excerpt at the end of Beck and Call, and was hooked after reading the prologue.

Jillian Jones has just finalized her divorce from her musician husband, Danny Hilton. She has a bit of a phobia about flying and is pretty worked up on the airplane. The man next to her is sweet, and funny, and takes her mind of off her fears, but he happens to be country music legend, Cole Pendleton. As much as Jillian likes him, she is

This is part of a series and the others intrude more than in previous works. Call, in particular (from Beck and Call), is prominent. So yeah, read the others first. That said, this one lives up to the quality of the others and that's a good thing.

There's a touch of instalove in this one, but I think Peel pulls it off. She does that by adding two factors that make it feel real. The first is by conveying that sense of instant connection you get with people sometimes. That this is the start of a ro

This is a fun story with plenty of emotion as Jillian is torn between her attraction to Cole and her fears of his past and career that stem from her past. I loved their chemistry and Cole's patience with her as he shows her that he can be trusted, one day at a time. I could really sense Jillian's conflict between hurt and hope... and Cole had enough hope for the both of them! I loved how he pursued her when the time was right. It was great to see Call from the previous book in the series as Jill ...more

A few small annoyances (Jillian's over-obsessed fears) but overall a very sweet and enjoyable quick-read.

COLE & JILLIAN was a sweet read with two characters who have a lot in their past to overcome if they're to find their happily-ever-after. Romance readers should enjoy this one.

This wasn't my favorite of the series. I'm not sure exactly what was missing, but the story didn't always quite work for me or maybe I just didn't connect to parts of it. The rest of the story though, I did enjoy. I liked the characters and I liked that they had to learn to trust when they've been burned befor

All three books in this novella trilogy were fun, but this was definitely my favorite! Loved it.
A wonderful conclusion to a highly enjoyable series! In fact, I believe this one may be my favorite of the 3 novellas. In each novella, Peel gives you the feel of being in a full length novel. The characters are well written; I enjoyed the interactions and the growth the characters go through. This novel had me grinning almost all the way through it. I can most definitely recommend it for any fan of a clean read romance.

Fresh from finalizing her divorce from the self-centered singing star, Danny Hilton, Jillian finds herself on a flight back to Nashville sitting next to mega-singing star Cole Pendleton. Jillian is determined not to fall for a charming cowboy again, and so even though there is a definite connection there and she can’t stop thinking about him for months after the chance meeting, she is convinced she will never see him again.

Cole Pendleton has made a lot of mistakes in his life and he’s worked rea

I loved this one too. What a great ending to this set of books! Jillian was married to a country singer and didn't like the life that brings. When she meets another country singer she wants to run. Only problem was Cole runs towards her now away. I thought their story was so cute and I especially liked the Epilogue of this one!

I loved this book! A talented handsome cowboy, Cole, meets Jillian on a flight back to Nashville and the sparks fly. She didn't want to get caught up in the music world again... she's been there done that and was left with a broken heart after many years. Cole has been through some rough times and is getting his life back on track but he can't keep thoughts of Jillian out of his head. The chemistry between these two was amazing and you wanted to keep turning those pages to see what would happen ...more

This is a sweet story of two damaged characters with lots of baggage, who are able to overcome the odds in order to come out ahead.

This one had some of the same issues in other books by this author. Very simplistic, repetitive sentence structure and too much use of 'I' to begin all the sentences.

Still, a fun little story and an enjoyable quick read.

Another hit!

Have you ever done something spontaneous & then regretted it later? Jillian isn't sure if meeting Cole & their instant connection was a good or bad thing? Read this clean romance to find out her story!

Jennifer Peel writes a good clean and sweet romance and this is no exception. Cole and Jillians story, like Beck and Call, lacks the emotional punch that Jaime and Christopher had, but this is still a good plot, good characters and good fast paced storytelling.

I really loved this story. I enjoyed seeing Jillian and Cole's story unfold, and seeing the story tie back to the other characters in the story. I especially loved the story's ending.

Each time I read a JP book, I know things are going to be neglected. I love the flirty bantering between Cole and Jillian. It's great when a book makes you smile.

This felt a little different from the other two in the series, but I really enjoyed it. Cole was a little harder to figure out, but I liked that he took his time and that he kept his word to Jillian. A great finish to the series.

Cole & Jillian’s story is sweet, cute and a great read, I love how this author gives such depth to her characters even when it is a short story. You really feel that you are on the romantic journey of love with them and the stories are unique and never boring. Another great and must read for all the romantics, it is also a clean read.
