Rate this book
Bert is upset that he can't go outside due to the pouring rain. Ernie shows him how much fun staying inside on a rainy day can be. Bert doesn't believe there is any fun inside, but after a number of activities, he begins enjoying himself -- so much so, that he continues to play inside even after the rain has stopped.

This was a cute book. I would recommend it for K-2, especially if the kids are interested in sesame street. It is about a boy who is bored because he cannot play outside and his friend showing him fun things to do indoors.

The Illustrator added other characters from Sesame Street but the author had no narrative of adding other characters other then Bert and Ernie. Grover, Barkley, and Prairie Dawn all just show up in the apartment.

"I liked when Bert didn't want to play, but then he did."
