While this is a well-done, concise overview of medicine for the younger set, the title is a bit misleading. Much of it focuses on the later 15th century (1450+) which I consider the Renaissance, rather than the Middle Ages. For Renaissance Medicine, I recommend "The Renaissance Hospital: Healing the Body and Healing the Soul" by John Henderson and "Doctors and Medicine in Early Renaissance Florence" by Katharine Park.
