Do you speak "business" or "IT"? Perhaps you speak a little of both. In today's connected world, where business and IT are fused, chances are that if you're a business or IT executive, or someone working to transform a business, you speak a little of both. I like the concepts VPEC-T that are explained in the book to close the gap between IT and business. I applied it already multiple times. The way certain parts are written in the book could be better but I give it a 4* rating due to the excellent concept.

For my taste too much VPEC-T thinking framework marketing, not written in a very readable manner - especially the core claim that this is a IT - BIZ alignment "tool" fails in the sense that it is written in a very IT centric style !
Nevertheless the foundation behind the VPEC-T model is quite interesting - especially the dimensions around Trust and Values !

* on second read it got much better ;-))
