[Stephen Dedman]

Does an excellent job of debunking stories that the Ripper murders were part of a Royal and/or Masonic conspiracy, and of describing the difficulty of conducting research in the pre-internet 1980s. Less convincing when trying to make a case for their own suspect and their claim that he was murdered, but readable and interesting nonetheless.
