Now we get Driller's backstory and see what he was doing on the Dirishu outpost. He had a robot buddy named Scoops. I swear I could've grabbed screens of most of this issue because the dialogue between the two robbies was sad/cute/hilarious. Unfortunately, this takes a turn for the worse when we're shown what actually happened 10 years ago ...

The end of the third arc/volume. I give volume 3 a 3.5 or so rating, which is a lot lower than the 5's I gave for the first two volumes. The entire arc was backstories. #12 was Tim-22, #13 was Telsa, #14 was Bandit, #15 was Effie, #16 was Digger. #15 was without a doubt the standout issue, the highlight of this Singularities story arc. After that #12 and #13 were decent. I'm sorry but I didn't think that Bandit and Digger should have gotten their own issues. Yes, there are a few reveals within t ...more

Aw, man. All the feels!! Some robots were treated so badly and their POV is kind of devastating. They were basically slaves, and treated even worse because robots can't have feelings. The thing is that all robots, even though created, had feelings and were treated brutally.

I can't wait to see how this series ends!

WOW! I totally did not see that coming! Jeff Lemire does another amazing job with telling the story in such a way that you can never tell ahead of time what is right around the corner! Driller is a real killer! The artwork is amazing as always and with the conclusion to this story arc, I can't wait to see what Lemire has in store for our characters next.

Driller is great, and I love the anthropomorphized bot with emotions and how they interact. It makes you imagine it being real. :)

Interesting side story. This book continues to expand while still growing the storyline.
