Poltergeists, severed thumbs, and lies…

PIB agents Abigail Collins and Nick Averin are rattled when a handful of severed thumbs are found at an abandoned house, but neither of them expected it to link to a decades old murder with strange ties to the paranormal world. When Abby’s greatest enemy seems to be helping her from afar, it’s clear that there’s more to this case tha

Really great story. I often forget as I am reading Amy's work that she is a friend because her stories drag me into them just like many best selling author's do.

Love Abigail and look forward to her next adventures.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. There was action, and mystery. I look forward to the next in the series. So many questions still remain, and the story just gets better with each installment.

Original Review @ Naomi’s Reading Palace

Each book in the Here Witchy Witchy series has been building up to something big, and it continued to do so in The Trouble With Ghosts. There were so many things that happened throughout this instalment in the series, with an interesting new case that kept getting bigger the longer Abby worked on it.

I liked how much action there was and how all the paranormal aspects wove this tale together. The runes came up again, I enjoyed the ghost aspect of this stor

Another great story, and finally some cases wrapped up in a satisfactory way! Bodies, explosions, vampires, and ghosts - a great combination. :) STILL wondering about Osiris the cat, though! Can't wait for next book. :)

Poor Abby! I really wish she could catch a break from the constant pressure of death threats, but I guess without that we wouldn't have these fast-paced stories about her life. Maybe a short story could give her a little reprieve.

We join Abby (crazy life already in progress) as she is still working on finding a balance with Nick (that's looking good) and tasked with solving a gross case involving severed thumbs. Yuck. This case, of course, ends up tying into a number other related items - the c

This series is really beginning to get into it's stride now and I do love a series which makes you concentrate and have to work out what's going on - I feel like I'm being treated like an adult who knows how to think. Things are getting rough and real for Agent Abby Collins and there is a lot more to her world than meets they eye and she's only beginning to get the tip of the ice berg I feel. It is becoming unclear who is enemy or foe and I literally spent a lot of this book with breath held and ...more

Wow, this series gets better with each new book. Abigail Collins takes you on a ride that will keep you turning those pages and wanting more when the story ends. It is full of twists and turns that leaves the reader guessing who is truly behind the explosions, murders and evil plaguing Abigail. This story is emotionally packed with highs and lows that leaves the reader laughing one moment and wanting to cry the next moment. This author will draw you in, with her ability to weave an exceptional f ...more

A.L. Kessler is a paranormal romance and steampunk author residing in Colorado Springs. Since she was a teenager she's loved weaving stories and spinning tales. When she's not at the beck-and-call of the Lord and Lady of the House, two black cats by the names of Jynx and Sophie, playing with her daughter, or killing creepers and mining all the things with her husband, she's either reading, partici ...more
