She's untouchable. But I'll touch whatever I f*cking want.
WESLEY:
I've f*cked up more than once, but I'm Wesley Reynolds-- the star quarterback everyone loves. Women fall at my feet and the rules don't apply to me. I can do whatever the f*ck I want.
Or at least that's the way it used to be. Now I'm on f*cking probation in a new town at a new college.
When I moved to Calton and started playing football for the Wildcats under Coach Thompson, everyone--including the coach himself-- told me his daughter Chelsea was off limits. And due to my troubled past, I have to stay in the coach's good graces for the one season I'm on his team, or risk losing my football career for good.
Chelsea's shaking those hips every day, taunting me. They say she's innocent and inexperienced, but she bats those gorgeous blue eyes at me like she wants me to rock her world. Her perfect curves look sinfully delicious under that short cheerleading skirt and they tempt me to risk it all.
I've never been good at following the rules. And now I've got to make a bold, dirty play.
Because when I want something, I f*cking take it.
CHELSEA:
Everyone's father is strict, but mine? I'm unlucky enough to be the football coach's daughter. He penalizes his players for an out of bounds play if they so much as look at me the wrong way.
Until recently, that's been fine by me. I've had to work twice as hard to prove myself since everyone assumes I'm only the head cheerleader for the Calton Wildcats because of my dad's influence. I've lead my squad to a State conference victory and this year Nationals is within reach. I don't need the distraction of dating dumb jocks to get in the way of my goals.
But the minute that Wesley Reynolds walks onto the field, I can't get his hard, lean, tattooed muscles out of my mind. I know he's a player both on and off the field, and I've heard rumors that he takes the word "heartbreaker" to a whole new level.
I also know that he's only in town for one football season but I just want to let loose and have a little fun for once.
I'm about to break Dad's rules for the first time ever.
I'll let Wesley make a pass at me, but I won't let him run off with my heart.

This book is an absolute gem! This was a beautiful love story that was so well done; it held my attention and was exciting, but also was heartwarming and emotional. This is the fourth book I read by Julianna Conners, and I have enjoyed reading all of her books. I loved the storyline, and I love the characters of Wesley Reynolds and Chelsea Thompson. Both of the main characters are great and you will find yourself falling in love with them. Wesley Reynolds was the star college football quarterback, who is handsome, sexy, flirtatious, arrogant, and he felt rules do not apply to him. Wesley got a bad break and he was transferred to another college with the proviso that he has to stay out of trouble. Because of Wesley’s father, Coach Thompson accepted Wesley on his football team with a caveat to all his players that his daughter was off limits. Chelsea is the coach’s daughter and she the captain of the cheerleading squad. When Chelsea meets Wesley, she finds herself quite attracted to Wesley and the feeling is mutual with some sizzling chemistry. Is Wesley willing to be transferred again or worst getting expelled from college because he wants Chelsea? Will Chelsea defy her father’s rule and be with Wesley? This book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end. Julianna Conners is a very good writer, and this story is well written. If you have read any of Julianna’s books before, you will enjoy this book as well.
Lame. Lame. Lame. Horrible. The dialogue was amateurish and not realistic. Story was...I don't know what to call it. Bad. Rushed. Too how much rain has sex I can hardly believe this is the same author who I've been reading recently. This book felt like a high school student wrote it.
I just couldn't get far with this one. Its too juvenile. All the big shot football player can do is look at a girl and think in depth what he could do sexually and most likely in his young life dreams! Just no class and the kid speaks like he is much older. Nope, not for me!
Wesley Reynolds pulled something in his leg midway through football tryouts. He hadn’t been practicing over the summer because he was pretty much told he wouldn’t be playing. He is unimpressed with the terrible team he’s supposed to be trying out for while Coach Thompson screams out instructions. But the former star quarterback knows he’s already in and just going through the motions. He knows he’s the best player they have. But this was his second chance after his old school tossed him out for bad behavior, almost losing his scholarship, and he has to go through these drills now. But then he spots the hot cheerleader and all hopes for good behavior fly away! Until a team member tells him she’s the coach’s daughter . . . groan! She’s out of bounds for sure!
The first game, his team is losing and Wes is sitting on the bench until the first string quarterback is injured. He goes into the game, but changes the play the coach called when he thinks his way is better. His friend Christian is not happy at his lack of respect, but he takes what he wants – including that hot cheerleader. So now what? Will he risk it all to get the girl? Is that bad boy reputation worth what he’ll have to give up? Or is something more sinister waiting for him?
This was a good story that I enjoyed. The chemistry between the two of them sizzles. I recommend this book, which I received in exchange for an honest review.
This is the first time I have read a book by this author and was very pleasantly surprised at how well the book was written and I really enjoyed reading this book. What you will find in this book is: drama, intrigue, twists & turns, a bad boy star quarterback (Wesley Reynolds ), a hot cheerleader & the coach’s daughter (Chelsea Thompson), a psycho friend & running back footballer (Christian), a football team's coach ( Coach Thompson), injuries, a forbidden relationship, inference, misunderstanding, jealousy, sabotage, misunderstanding, lust, love, emotional feelings and erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well thought out and written. The characters are fairly well developed with emotional feelings according to the situation they find themselves in. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a well written sport romance with a HEA
This is the first book I've read from author Juliana Conners. I received a free advance copy of the book in exchange for an honest review and I have to say that I'll be adding this author to my favorite list. WOW! Out of Bounds is a full-length standalone novel with no cheating, no cliffhanger and an amazing HEA. A sweet and fun sports romance! I recommend it!! This's the story of Wesley Reynolds, star quarterback of the Calton Wildcats & Chelsea Thompson, head cheerleader for the Calton Wildcats, daughter of the football team Coach Thompson and take place in Calton. Wesley & Chelsea had great chemistry but she's off limits. He wants her, So now what? Can Wesley follow the rules! Can they be happy together or not? Too many twist but the end is epic, so to find out, go buy the book!

A sweet young adult love story of two college students. It's a nice switch up to what I've been reading. The plot is the same old storyline; however, the emotions are what make it different. The turmoil between Wesley and Chelsea with all the miscommunications and speculation. The heartbreak of losing a parent and knowing the surviving parent is moving on with their life. The not so loving/kind home life is gut wrenching. You then watch as Chelsea and Wesley overcome those obstacles throughout the book. The storyline flowed smoothly. The characters were developed and easily relatable. I loved the sexual tension without a whole lot of sex. A great read!
I received this ARC book free in exchange for a honest review. Great storyline, fast read. Classic story of the cheerleader, Chelsea, wanting to go out with the new quarterback, Wesley. However, the former star of the team does not like that Chelsea did not want him and wanted Wesley instead. Also, Chelsea's father does not want her near anyone on the team. Wesley cannot get into trouble as he is already on thin ice after getting kicked out of his last school and last winning team, but that does not stop Wesley and Chelsea from meeting in secret. And while trying to keep their meetings secret, Chelsea tames the wild man in Wesley and they both fall in love with one another.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book as I do like spots romances,I really liked the way the author writes and there is depth to the characters and you can connect with the characters. This is Chelsea and Wesleys story.Chelsea and Wesley are students at the same college she is a cheerleader and he is a football player, but also she is the coaches daughter which makes her off limits, but Wesley isn't one to really follow the rules!! So do these two can they get what they deserve? It's well worth the read to find out!! I received an ARC for my honest review .
Chelsea stays away from all of the players on her dad's team because of his rules. Wesley is getting a fresh start and is supposed to stay away from all cheerleaders, especially the coach's daughter. But one look at each other and they can't deny their attraction and connection. Chelsea has to battle Wesley's past and he has to battle his reputation and the haters. A story filled with love, passion, pain, healing, trust, and following your heart.
Quarterback, head cheerleader, coach is cheerleader's father, bad boy, good girl... what could possibly happen?
Out of Bounds by Juliana Conners built upon itself chapter to chapter. It doesn't just jump into these two main characters hooking up, but works into it. Add in some deceit and doubt, you have a compelling story. I enjoyed this book and was glad that it wasn't just a hit it and nail it type.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.
This story was ok. Despite there being a lot of grammatical errors, the story line just seemed like it needed more work. There was not any depth to the characters of Wesley and Chelsea. The closer it got to the ending of the book, the more things seemed to be rushed. Definitely could use a lot of improvement
I received a free ARC for honest review. This was my first book by Juliana Conners and it was a good one. The characters of Wesley and Chelsea were easy to fall in love with. Good book.
Juliana Conners has a rare gift of penning a story that makes you sit up and wait impatiently for her next story as they are so good. In this one we meet Wesley, who had got himself into some major trouble in college and he's been suspended from the football team for a term. If he keeps his 'nose clean' and behaves himself his transfer to another college and team will be temporary and he will be able to return. At his next college, he's been warned that he must not, under any circumstances, go near the coach's daughter. However, once Wesley sees Chelsea there is no way that he's going to stay away from her. Coincidentally, once Chelsea sees him she knows that she's going to ignore her dad and get to know Wesley. She's going to have a party at her dad's cabin and invites Wesley and his new 'friend', Christian, and they get to know each other much better and more intimately. However, whilst Wesley and Chelsea seem so happy and in lust, at least, a so called friend causes trouble and they avoid each other. Is this the end of their love affair before it's really begun? To find out you're going to have to do what I did and get yourself a copy and read it. It is beautifully written with plenty of emotions, misconceptions and people who try to keep them apart. The passion between them is chemistry set to steam heat and the thought that this is the end for them just cannot happen! Wesley and Chelsea are so good together that Juliana surely can't let this be the end!
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. However, as it was so good and I knew that the bonus was also well worth reading I bought myself a copy of this book to join my collection
I have read this previously and loved it the first time, but re-reading it, I fell in love all over again. There were a few parts that I didn’t remember from the first time I read it (a couple years ago), that I really enjoyed and feel added even more to the story. I do want to say that I absolutely love sports romances, so it’s easy for me to say it’s an amazing read because it’s my favorite kind of romance to read! But I feel that even someone who doesn’t really enjoy sports romances, would enjoy this because when it comes down to it, it’s about more than just football. It about two young, college aged, kids falling in love and finding out the hard way that believing others outside of a relationship can lead to problems. To me, this is a must read. Ms. Conners’ writing is amazing and conveys the emotions the characters are going through so easily, that you can’t help but fall in love with them! The first edition of this book was great but this one is even better. The changes and the edited scenes has only taken this story to an even higher level.
It is a very well written story with great storyline and plot. A sweet romance. Full of expanse and hotness.
I love the journey towards their HEA. There are laughs, family issues, drama, passion, emotions, hot scenes, twists and lots of chemistry in this amazing story. It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. Great romance with a twist and very enjoyable read.
I like the main characters and how they develop. I like how considering and caring Wesley is inspite of what he wants to be. The characters are likeable and relatable in this story.
The story flows nicely and it is very captivating from first to last chapter. The author has delivered a story that is worth the read!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book OMG this was a wonderful read, Wesley has transferred to a new college due to getting into to much trouble at his last school, He has one semester to prove that he is trying to not make those same mistakes again. The team he plays for now is a losing team and he knows that he can turn that around, It is in his blood to be the best quarterback he can be. Chelsea is the head cheerleader for the school and has taken the team to many competitions but this year her goal it to take nationals. Chelsea is the coaches daughter and an innocent, but that doesnt stop Wesley from wanting her, and he always gets what he wants, But there are people that start to interfere in their budding relationship, People who are jealous and want to just cause them both trouble. Will Wesley and Chelsea be able to get through these problems Will the bad boy be redeemed? YOU have to read this today to find out.
I received this book as a bonus book in another story. I was ok for a sports romance. I couldn't connect to the characters, but was ok to read. Overview. Wesley transferred to another college due to some behavioral issues, grades, and a drug charge. But he didn't want to but football is his life even though he didn't want to play for a losing team. But when he sees the cheerleaders, things all change. That is until the cheerleader he want to meet is the coaches daughter. A friend warns him but he must have her. Chelsea sees the new guy and is dying to meet him. But she knows that dad doesn't like her dating footballers. But something keeps drawing them together. But life presents challenges for the two as they try to get together.
Absolutely a MUST READ! This is one of the more well rounded and complete stories I have read in a long time. It's female lead character, Chelsa, is strong and confident. She has an amazing 'sister'/best friend Taylor who truly has her back, even though she tends to go about helping the wrong way. The male lead character Wesley is an cocky jock who truly meets his match with Chelsa. Wesley teaches us that you can never judge a book by it's cover (although, this book has a nice cover... :D). Their story is believable.
I REALLY ENJOYED THIS STORY!!
PS - WARNING: For those of you who don't like the smut, you might wish to read something else. Although I will say the 'smut' is very 'vanilla' and clean.
Great book by Juliana Conners. Wesley and Chelsea are college students. Wesley is the "star" quarterback that messes up bad at his college and to be able to keep playing football, he has to agree to be moved to Chelsea's college and football team that has very long losing track. Chelsea's father is the football coach who has strict rules regarding his team NOT ever dating his daughter. Both characters are written so well that they are completely believable and the plot line moved at a nice pace. I finished this book in one sitting. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a HEA! I received this book as an ARC and voluntarily reviewed it. This review is my honest opinion.
The first part of the book was a bit slow going for me, Chelsea’s character annoyed me for quite a while which made the read rather slow for those parts. About halfway through and after I couldn’t put the book down, I wanted to know what happens in the end. I loved their interactions, some scenes were very hot. There sweet some parts, for me, where I felt that the story did jump a little and felt rushed. I also felt there were some unanswered questions at the end which I really wanted to know. But other than that it was still a good read. I loved how sweet that ending was between them and how much Wesley changes throughout the book with Chelsea, I thought they were great together
This is a story about finding true love while dealing with other peoples thoughts and expectations. Wesley is now playing football for a team that normally does not win because he was kicked off his other team. When he sees the coaches daughter, Chelsea, across the field he falls instantly in love. But will coach allow him to date his daughter knowing that he is the bad seed? Or will other people’s jealousy and hatred show its true colors and finally Wesley gets the reputation he deserves? With great characters and a storyline that I could not get enough of this is a book that should not be missed.
I loved the out of bounds story. Took me back to my college years. It was fresh and sweet. I recommend it. There were a lot of extra books with this story. The “Boss me” books. I usually love the extras, but i found myself getting bored with the religious virgin/ older boss theme. I finally gave up and didn’t force myself to finish it. Maybe it was just me but after the first story the interest wasn’t there. Still good price and a lot to keep you reading.
5 Star Kindle Unlimited Read I absolutely love books like these. I wish they were around when I was coming up. Imagine the mistakes I could have avoided. Mistakes are something these characters could avoid had the only communicated. Hinder sight is a bitch as they say... If they would have communicated, then everyone would have realized early on that Christian was a crazy arse nut sack
