Charles Swindoll has devoted over four decades to two passions: an unwavering commitment to the practical communication and application of God's Word, and an untiring devotion to seeing lives transformed by God's grace. Chuck graduated magna cum laude from Dallas Theological Seminary and has since been honored with four doctorates. For his teaching on Insight for Living, he has received the Program of the Year award and the Hall of Fame award from the National Religious Broadcasters as well as multiple book awards.

What a great little book. From the very 1st poem of Joseph Bailey to the last chapter of failures among the people... it tugged and pulled my heart strings. I got to see a hidden side of me within the pages. One I rarely let out to play... and now I see things a little bit differently and understand the hurting a bit more too. I now know the importance of being an encourager regardless of where someone is on their walk in life. A great quick read. One that I will read and meditate on again.

This is a real good book. Its captures are fast so its easy to read one in the morning. It is brocken into two parts first encourage me then how to encourage others.
