Librarian's note: There is an Alternate Cover Edition for this edition of this book here.

Robert and Jennifer’s “summer romance” was interrupted when his college buddy, Zabka, returned to Buffalo for a visit. The two friends had a night out that the police report described as, "beyond insane, even for knuckleheads that inebriated." Since then, Jennifer’s leash around Robert’s neck just kept getting shorter and shorter.

Now it's mid-December, and Zabka is planning an even bigger road-trip back to frigid Buffalo. He envisions a weekend overflowing with beer and girls that, in his words, "climaxes" with the Bills squishing the Dolphins to clinch the division's playoff spot. But if Jennifer discovers his plans, there’s no telling what she’ll do.

Will drunken chaos spin out of control again? What unexpected trouble is flying up from Miami? When relationships, friendships, and rivalries collide, can anything survive? And where did the midget strippers come from?! Nothing can prepare this incompatible cast of characters for this wild winter weekend.

Dave Lundy was born a devious prankster, raised in Chenango Bridge, NY (where?), and voted Class Clown in high school. While attending the University at Buffalo, he minored in English and majored in partying. After graduating college and working in Buffalo, he followed his girlfriend west to Las Vegas (alas, she wasn’t a stripper) and eventually on to California. When their cross-country fairytale came to an end, he moved to San Francisco where he's known as "the drinker with a writing problem." While Dave’s crazy adventures are often the spark of his hilarious stories, it’s his clever imagination that takes them over-the-top.

In a world where the level of discourse has turned into nasty vitriol and seemingly innocent comments run the risk of offending those whose sensitivities are at an all-time high, I recommend this comedic classic guaranteed to offend only those who have left their senses of humor by the wayside. If you have ever had one of those weekends where you threw your responsibilities out the window, thought you were never going to make it back to some sense of normalcy and didn't care at all, read this tale about an epic weekend in Buffalo in 1995. You will laugh out loud even if you think it's wrong to.

Ladies - If you want to keep your man, do NOT not emulate Jennifer!

A very entertaining read!! Full of humor, stupidity, ridiculous situations, and sex, all wrapped up in a tale of four friends who are trying to make their way to a Buffalo Bills game.

Being from the Upstate NY area, I especially liked the sense of “home” I found in this book. The characters are relatable and remind us of fun college days where friendships, drinking, and partying were at the center of our lives. The guys in this book truly represent reality (shaking my head! LOL) and the women aren’t far behind. Lots of laughter and “you CAN’T be serious!” moments.

While all the characters had something to offer, I especially liked how there proved to be more to "dumb Bambi" than expected. Oh, and the outlandish predicaments "naive Scooter" gets into are ridiculously funny! I also enjoyed the surprise outcome that Jennifer was “handed.” Hehehe She proves to be a true case study on what to do to push a man away.

Overall, a very fun look at various personalities in humorous situations.

My book club is definitely going to read this!

No one calls/called it "The Buffalo" or "Bruce Dome" lol. Other than that, it's a fun read.

"Squish" had me laughing from outset to conclusion. Anybody (which should include just about everyone) who's ever drank too much, partied too hard, found themselves rooting for their favorite team against an archrival, or has been involved in a complicated relationship scenario, will identify with this tale and find themselves laughing out loud as they ride along with Robert and his merry band of quirky friends and enemies during the ultimate 'buddies' weekend. I sincerely hope Dave tells more stories about this wacky group. Prepare to be thoroughly entertained!!! ...unless you're a Dolphins fan!

OMG! I Couldn't Stop Laughing!!

As I sat reading this, I had people around me kept looking at me trying to figure out why I kept busting out laughing! I can't believe I'm the only guy in the world who knows some guys just like this. Especially Bob & Zabka as well as a putz like Scooter! Mr Lundy, you HAVE TO WRITE ANOTHER LIKE THIS! You're funnier than author Carl Hiaasen , and much, much nastier! 😈😆😆😆
