Crafting Cross Stitch Cards by Sue Cook has 60+ different designs to make neat cards with.

What I like about this book is that there are some great ideas for decorating the cards themselves which makes it useful for all sorts of different occasions.

The charts are in full colour, some with symbols and are nice and clear.

There is an informative and interesting introduction to crafting cards at the beginning of the book, and then goes on to three specific sections of designs - Memorable Days (weddings, new baby etc), Birthday Bonanza and Seasonal Favourites.

I borrowed this from the library and will definitely be adding it to the "must own" list.

Making a very nice baby shower card from this book! The graduation owl is the other design I'd like to make from this book.

I borrowed this (and a few other card-specific books) in the vague hopes of inspiring myself to design this year's Christmas card. Snort. I've never been a "card person", always prefering larger projects or small practical gifts. So now it's November, and I haven't even started....

My rating is based on the fact that nothing really appealed to me (which is probably due to my attitute towards making cards - see above), but for someone that likes making cards, there are plenty of charts and ideas in this one to keep you busy for a year.
