Includes a few nice card ideas like the doves with wedding bands and a wreath of flowers with writing in the centre eg for a birthday or thank you card. Contains various alphabets including a cursive one which I quite like.

I really liked Jo Verso's Picture it in cross stitch , as it gave clear instructions and allowed the reader to design their own charts. I remember borrowing the book from the library when I was just starting out (about 1996/7) and using many sheets of graph paper. Mind you, I think only one stitched design came out of it, but it allowed me to realized I could do anything I wanted.

As for this book, however...meh.
