Rate this book
This short book explores skills that can help one succeed in life like drive, empathy, adaptability, creativity, the ability to handle failure. What brings the book to life is the wide illustrations from mathematics, history, fables, language, economics, psychology, biology, business, artificial intelligence, racing, and politics. Finally the book concludes with an exploration of what "success" might mean to an individual. Along the way the book asks offbeat questions like: Does it ever help to be lazy? Does a rat have empathy? How one can go up against the smartest person in the room?

I was sent this book by the author because I read one of his other books and liked it very much.

Well, this book was very different and made me think too much. I enjoyed the book and think that everyone should read it. The book has so much interesting things in it that really should be put into two books.

I liked the side sayings from Walt Disney, and others that helped hold my attention to the end of the book.

It is a very well researched and thought out book and the premise keeps you reading until the end so you find out what it is all about!

Well worth the time to read and think about!

In the three basic stages of life: you’re born, you live and the you die; and while there’s nothing much you can do about the first or the last, the middle is the one you’ve got any control over.

But to survive and succeed in life itself you need to possess certain characteristics. These characteristics include, and not are limited to: being flexible in facing any event which might present itself with the capacity to deal with failures should they appear, possess a determination to succeed along with a compassion to those around as you endeavor to reach your goal. Needless to say, your ability to be creative plays important part in all that you attempt to do.

The author, Fuad A. Kamal, in writing this quite informative book not only gives his readers the bare facts and the usual how to achieve what you want in life; he provides viable, yet surprising sources where applicable information are found to help you better visualize what you need to do.

As one reads this book, the author confronts his readers with esoteric questions designed to have them do a self-examination, culminating with what achieving your goals might mean in your life.

For having written this informative and enlightening book, I’ve given this book and its author 5 STARS.

I was very pleased with this book. At the end you will reexamine yourself and goals . The best part is this isn't a terribly long read. You could easily read it in a few hours. So for those people who have busy lives, it's easy to fit this one in your day.

I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway (thank you!). It offers good tips on how to live life to the fullest. But what I enjoyed most of all were the examples from history, fables and quotes which put the author's tips into a perspective and helped to demonstrate their wisdom.
