Today's Frost Choice was the Circulatory System. Talked about how veins and arteries carry blood throughout the body. Talking about blood freaks him out, but I encourage him to read about it once in a while, hoping to squash that fear. Besides the blood stuff, my son found it interesting. A fairly easy read for my 5 yr old. My son enjoyed it. Fun read!

Picture book expertly focused on the circulatory system, with diagrams of blood flow, the heart, and major vessels. Mix of photographs and line-drawings. Engaging third-person POV. No plot, but logical sequence of concepts. Thoughtful backmatter, but I didn't notice any activities.
