I'm dipping my toes into goodreads to see how it works. Thanks for finding me here, and thanks to everyone who has read and written about my books. I love to know you're there, even if I don't come here too often to say so.

Today's Frost Choice was the Circulatory System. Talked about how veins and arteries carry blood throughout the body. Talking about blood freaks him out, but I encourage him to read about it once in a while, hoping to squash that fear. Besides the blood stuff, my son found it interesting.
A fairly easy read for my 5 yr old. My son enjoyed it. Fun read!

Picture book expertly focused on the circulatory system, with diagrams of blood flow, the heart, and major vessels. Mix of photographs and line-drawings. Engaging third-person POV. No plot, but logical sequence of concepts. Thoughtful backmatter, but I didn't notice any activities.
