5/16/20 age 9 - The story is about a boy named Cory and an old woman named Carlotta who aren't living anywhere in particular. I loved it! I liked the part when Cory figured out that they wanted to keep him after all. I did not like Carlotta's heart attack. Words that describe this book: exciting, funny, sad, surprising, scary, entertaining. It was interesting when they worked with the circus. I would recommend this book to people who like fun and a bit scary books.
