This is a detailed acount of the law relating to all aspects of unlawful interference with land. It is divided into four chapters. The first covers trespass and what constitutes trespass who may maintain an action in trespass and defences and remedies for defence. The second chapter covers nuisance, and analysis of who can sue and be sued types of nuisance fault, nuisance and foreseeability and remedies and defences. Chapter three deals with more specific areas of interference with land of breach of covenant or contract. The last chapter covers all the wrongfull interfenerces under statute. There is also a section at the end of the last chapter which deals with the new criminal penalties for trespass. Detailed analysis of decided cases provides practical discussion of specific situations.
