This is one of a series of the Top Secret series by Highlights. It is a wonderful child friendly informational book about the country of Russia, giving maps, charts, pictures, and lots of content about the country. Concepts gone over are things like history, geography, culture, food, currency, fast facts, and government. Each of these books are a great way to get students interested in specific places and can be great resources for expeditionary learning and research activities. They are colorful, child centered books that provide lots of great authentic information without bias or opinion. They are great for helping students get to the facts.
