This part is about Erin and Weston's last months in high school. They soon will be going to different colleges and starting a new life.

You would think that after all Erin went through, people would finally give her a break, but unfortunately no. The bullying is still there, though she has strong support from her parents and Wes now.

You would also think that their relationship should be strong after fighting for being together so much, but no either. Weston is insecure and sc

Jamie McGuire did a great job wrapping this short story series up with an believably sweet ending for Weston and Erin. Erin has been through so much finding out that there was a mix up at the hospital that left her living her life with a mother that didn’t love her in a beaten down trailer. The boy of her dreams dating the school’s other Erin who was her bully/tormentor and living the life that we find out was supposed to hers all

So disappointed with this!!!! hardly anything happens. It really is just two teenagers on again, off again for really pointless reasons. I found Wes to be a needy, windy jerk in this book. what a shame as I loved the first book. I am very annoyed as I Usually love this authors work. This pointless trilogy could have been told as a one off novella. It was very dragged out an expensive to buy all three parts. What a shame.

This entire series has been a roller coaster of emotions, so it's no surprise that the finale is by far the most moving of all three. Jamie has once again managed to shine, but this one will really take a toll on you.

After witnessing most of Erin's tormenting at the hands of peers (and adults), all you can hope is for her to get some peace. With this being her final year, all I wanted was for some of these people to widen up, treat her as a human instead of the trash they saw her as. Sadly, thi

A really nice conclusion to a lovely story.... A transition from childhood to adulthood and everything in between.... Every struggle, fear, hope and dream a 18 year old has after finishes school.... Excitement for what future hold and at the same time fear for what you may leave behind.... I love Erin and Weston....

The third and final installment of the happenstance novella trilogy is complete and to say I'm disappointed that it's over would be an understatement.

You follow Erin and Weston as they prepare for college.. It's a great ending to a wonderful series. Jamie never ceases to amaze me.

Oh my gosh...so amazing. I enjoyed the last book about Erin and Weston. How Jamie do that? She always write a story, which touch your heart. This one is not exception. It was sweet, tender story about growing up, acceptance and it made my cry....beautiful book.

So good. So much better than I expected. Jamie knows how to tug on my heartstrings and add a beautiful message of hope and perseverance.

I'll be turning back to these anytime I need a pick me up.

I am completely disappointed with the overall outcome of this final book from the Happenstance Novella Series.

I was very hopeful with the series, but author, Jamie McGuire, happens to have given up that hope and just wanted to rapidly finish the book to get it over with. Did this satisfy her readers? More like it satisfied herself. This book, to say the least, was done extremely poorly.

One of the things I hate about books and especially series is that often they finish too quickly and you find yourself wanting more and feeling a bit sad that they are over. Over the last two days , I read the entire Happenstance Novella Series and I have to say I loved it. Each book actually got better and better. In the third book, we see the further development of Erin Easter-Alderman's relationship with Weston Gates , but still niggling her in the back of the mind is that he was with the fo ...more

I have thoroughly enjoyed this novella series. So many emotions have been felt and the characters especially Erin have been through so much. There have been ups and downs, twists and turns, and through it all I was held captive. I am sad that it is over. I really enjoyed Weston and Erin but I am happy with the way it ended. Perfect ending! I hope we get more of them in the future. Great reads for all ages.

Once again I think this series should have stopped with the first book. I did like how Erin settling in to a relationship with Sam and Julianne, but Weston was a whiny girl in this one. I didn't get why he couldn't take what Erin said at face value. By now he should have known her enough to trust what she was saying.

I loved this uplifting conclusion to a very wonderful and unexpectedly heart pulling story.

Erin and Weston, along with their families, are starting to move on from everything, connect with each other and survive.

And my, oh my the writing is beyond superb. It's so beautiful. So touching. So inspiring.

Thank you Kristin for the gift. I love you!

This is the first book by Jaime McGuire that I highly dislike. I'm so surprised in my disappointment of this book because I loved 1 and 2. But this one? Weston was just getting on all my nerves with his whining. I was more than halfway into the book and he still had the same attitude and then boom, stuff happens. Just not feeling it. Ugh.

What the heck happened to Weston? I'm glad he got his act together in the end, but I was worried this wasn't going to end the way I thought it was. Sill, this a solid final entry into the series with a great mix of teenage angst and growing up.

Ok now I think I can finally put into words how I feel about this story...I was holding off on writing a review until I finished and I must say Jamie McGuire did not disappoint. This series was beautiful, heartbreaking, and cheesy all at once. I loved Easter she was everything a strong independent young lady should be she fought her own battles and did so with class I loved it!! Weston...hmm what can I say about Weston... I have sincerely followed the Happenstance novella series, and each book has been pretty enjoyable. For really short Young Adult romance reads, that is exactly what you expect. On top of that, author Jamie McGuire, as all of her regular fan following already knows, tells really good stories. Happenstance 3 wasn't first novella in the series, which for me, was the best. The second one was good, but not that good. The third and final one was the same. I find that it was only in the first novella o ...more

Happenstance is the best novella series I’ve ever read and Jamie McGuire is one of my favorite authors. I started with Beautiful Disaster, which I loved and plan to rave over shortly. I’ve read every book Jamie has ever written, and I’m anxiously waiting to read her next novel. I’m surprised it’s taken me this long to review one of Jamie’s novels considering I’m a mega fan. I thought I’d start with Happenstance since I read the entire series within twenty-four hours. It’s a super addicting read. ...more

Jamie McGuire was able to wrap up thisbeautiful novella series in a way only she can, keeping us guessing and hoping until the very last page. Thank you so much for making this series!

In Happenstance part 3 we say goodbye to Weston and Erin, they have both gone through a lot in their last year of high school, knowing hope, lose and love all in one year.

I always admired Erin, she was always tenacious, saying time and time again that she didn’t needed help but showing tre

This was the perfect conclusion to a wonderful and beautiful young love story. Jamie knocked my socks off with her writing. There were multiple times during this book that I had to sit back and just appreciate the brilliance of her writing.

There is a paragraph in the book that summarizes the entire feel and premise of this three novella series and becoming not only an adult, but a mature adult.

"Part of me was glad that I'd had to fend for myself for so long. Without their mothers nearby, most of my classmates had no clue...
In school we were babied, scolded, and told when to eat. We even had to raise our hands to go to the bathroom. In just a few short weeks we would be free to rack up credit cards and student loans, or to sign co

I'm going to review this as the whole series, I read them all back to back and it kind of blurs together. I feel like this series had great potential, the story was intriguing, fresh, and different. Somehow it just feel short of great. It was good, it kept my interest peaked, but when I finished I wasn't calling my friends exclaiming about the book I just read. It was ok. I like that it was based in a small town in Oklahoma, because I was raised in a very similar small town in Oklahoma. I could ...more

This third instalment was just as good as the first two.

Erin is now putting her needs first, she needs to close ties with Gina and head off into the big world of college and independence. Her parents are really happy f
