This book begins right where The Adoption ended. I am not sure why the author decided to split a full length novel into three novellas. This installment reveals how Faith and her mother form a tentative relationship by writing letters back and forth to each other. Faith, a 19 year old, behaves rather childishly. Great series....

I'm enjoying this series of stories about the young Amish woman who had had searched for her past. The author has a lot of feelings in the story.

This book was very well written with a lot of suspense. Faith wrote to Old Mae hoping that she would give the letters to her mother. Her mother and Faith then wrote to each other.

Faith now has letter-to-letter correspondence with her birth mother, Nancy, but still has restlessness and urging to speak to her face to face. This is a heartwarming story of redemption and love, although the outcome leaves open questions which hopefully will be answered in a book 3.
