This is a wonderful little tale that shows that anyone can make a difference, no matter your size. Percy is a smart little pigeon and comes to the rescue of two young boys who are stranded on an island as dusk approaches. He's just a little pigeon and it is difficult for him to get his message across, but with persistence and a little help from a friend, all is well in the end. The city of London, England is highlighted in the story and gives a small glimpse into the life and culture there. The illustrations are in watercolor and augment the story nicely.

Beautiful watercolors! I think it would be most fun for folks who are about to visit London or have spent time there in the past.
