"Alright Mr. Drake, are you ready for your close-up?"
The continuation of Neely Evans' saga finds her with a new and very lucrative career as a free lance celebrity photographer for the top tabloids, both in the U.S. and in Europe. As long as they can afford her rates, she will always get the picture - no matter what. And her camera never lies.
That's right, Neely, now known as 'Grace Evangelista,' is one of the most sought after of the global paparazzi. She's clever. She's calculating. And she's ruthless. She is . . . the best of the paparazzi.
But she gets one pic she wishes she hadn't, because somebody she loves is going to get hurt.

Paparazzi (Evermore #3) by Andrea Smith 4 stars!!!
This series is like Andrea Smith crack and she knows how to suck you in well and truly. Paparazzi is the third book in this series following on from Crushed and Claimed and this book continues where Claimed left off. The final book, Star F*cking releases in December.
Paparazzi continues the saga of Neely and Seth, two people that are destined to be together, yet everything seems to be keeping them apart, none more so than their perpetual stubbornness, misunderstandings and neither willing to admit that they were wrong. However, it does seem as if there was a third party stirring the pot with regards to the demise of their relationship and Andrea Smith slowly ekes out the lengths to which this person went to for their own personal gain.
Andrea Smith really goes for the jugular on the emotions in this book as slowly but surely Neely’s past while apart from Seth are detailed painfully and sensitively. This part of the book was expertly delivered and my poor heart was totally decimated by the end.
In the present Neely, has crossed to the other side and as a means to make the money she needs she becomes a celebrity photographer, shooting under a pseudonym and being the mistress of disguise. Other photographers are jealous of her sudden rise to the top and celebrities fear her, but despite her success her heart is still empty without Seth.
“There was no excuse for lying, no matter what the circumstances, but to purposely wound someone because of some selfish need to dish out pain, well, it was inexcusable.”
Seth is still on his meteoric rise as an actor and yet despite the success he has always craved it feels empty. With success comes a price but is it worth it when you have nobody of substance to share it with? Seth is like Neely, living in the past, reminiscing and wondering what the hell went wrong.
With revelations, a plenty and karma being dealt where it was well and truly warranted Andrea Smith delivers a fact filled, emotional instalment that impatiently leads into Star F*cking. I am in desperate need of this instalment as I just hope that these two sort themselves out, else I will have to morph into the pages and bash their heads together. Frustrating…definitely, addicting…definitely. Bring it on Andrea Smith.
This was riveting to the point that I hadn't planned to finish it in one sitting but COULDN'T WALK AWAY! This installment to Neely and Seth's story is heartbreaking in SO MANY ways. Plan to shed tears, as well as do a couple of happy dances.
UPDATED 10/2022: Even though I knew what was coming, this being my second time listening, my heart still shattered. Full on ugly crying. 😭🤧😭
Sincerely, if you are reading or listening to this, I strongly recommend that the last couple of chapters be taken in private. The loss, the heartbreak... it's a lot, and if you've had a similar experience, your response may be even more pronounced. 💔
I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is the very enjoyable Rachelle Williams.
Paparazzi starts where Claimed left off. Neely has a new job and hasn't seen Seth in a while. While Neely's new job may not be the one she's always wanted she is doing quite well for herself. At the same time Seth is becoming a rising star in Hollywood and still feels a void, even though he is achieving his dream. They both think of each other often, but so many misunderstandings have gotten in their way. While this is not a long read, it is packed full of emotions and feelings. The ending had me reeling and I can not wait for the next one, I just have to know what will happen when Seth finds out what Neely's job is.
The latest instalment of the, Evermore Series, and what an epic edition it was. I fell in love with this story from reading book 1, Crushed and then Claimed. I have one more book to go, Star F*cking which is releasing in December. I can't wait for the grand finale.
If you have read the previous two books you will definitely be wanting to read this one. If you haven't even started this series, OH MY GOD!! Go download. To give you a brief background, I have been following the life of Neely and Seth, both very much in love with the other, but have drifted apart over the years, due to so many misunderstandings, one or both believing the other to be in the wrong.
This instalment reveals so much that not only did Seth not know, but us the readers had no clue either. I mean, Jesus! I have been sobbing. Andrea Smith literally ripped my heart out and then put it back in again. God, she is such an awesome writer. I think I have, no I know I have read everything this writer has ever written, and I have never been disappointed with any of her stories to date.
Neely is in for quite a shock, and Seth is in for an even bigger one. Ever seen a grown man cry? You are about to, well at least read about it. There is definitely more shocks to come because, Nelly is a celebrity photographer. But she likes to keep her identity a secret, going undercover to get the shots that make the headlines. So, while everyone is reading the morning headlines along with the compromising images, Neely is celebrating another big pay check, but no one knows who the lucky photographer is. Is she lucky? It's a tough call, I see people closest to Neely being hurt, and after reading this book if she and Seth don't stay together I might give up reading altogether.
I am desperate for all secrets to be revealed and waiting with bated breath for a happy ever after.
Paparazzi continues the story between Neely and Seth.
Seth is a rising star in the movie business, he's acquiring all the fame and fortune that comes with the territory. But with recognition comes isolation and an emptiness that no one has been able to filled since Neely.
Neely is working for a private investigator while finishing college. When the opportunity comes around to become a paparazzi and make a better living, she grabs it. Do to her ability to disguise herself , she's becoming a force to be reckoned with when it comes to her newfound career.
Through a series of events, a painful secret is revealed. While truly heartbreaking for me to read this part of the story it was beautifully written and very touching. Through all this ordeal Seth learns that not everything was what it seemed.
Their story continues in the next installment of this series.
Paparazzi by Andrea Smith is a coming of age story that I listened to on audio narrated by Rachelle Williams. This is the third book in the Evermore series and does end on a cliffhanger.
Andrea does an amazing job pulling you into the story. I am so glad she brought in Seth’s point of a view throughout this book. I cannot wait for the fourth book Star F*ucking to be released on audible
Rachelle did an amazing job on the narration. I loved that she used different voices/tones for each character. She really made the story come to life.
More of the story coming to light and its heartbreaking. Devouring this series. Just know its really good and keeping myself glued to my kindle...... So check it out! Onto the next book and I think the conclusion gotta know how this ends. Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
Flipping heck! Drama, drama, drama. Book 3 in the Evermore series sees Neely and Seth crossing paths again on numerous occasions. The writing goes from present day, to a few reminders/additions to the past we know. It would appear that nothing is as it seems. Neely’s mum has got a lot to answer for, as does that biatch Tiffany, I’m hoping they’ll both get their comeuppance. Neely however, has come back stronger than ever in this story. We see her excelling as a photographer, and there are some quite fun scenes in and amongst. There are also some emotional moments throughout as the love story that is Neely and Seth is relayed and replayed. Book 1 and 2 need to be read before Paparazzi to ensure a true understanding of the story, Narrated by Rachelle Williams who narrated both Neely and Seth perfectly, she’s great with accents, I could listen to her all day. I’m hoping she will narrate book 4, sooner rather than later, because I desperately need need need a happy ending for Neely and Seth.
Neely's love for photography and her need for a job have her taking a short-term job as a private investigator. It's not what she wants her future to be, but it's a place to start. Her talent with the camera evolves into catching photos of celebrities in action and she becomes very successful at her craft. She is what she's always looked down on...a paparazzi. She is known as Grace Evangelista, her "professional" name. Before this installment of the Evermore Series, Paparazzi, Neely and Seth have been split by angry words and misunderstandings. Instead of talking to each other, they argue. Instead of trying to get to the truth, they react to their feelings instead of thinking something through. Now that Neely's back in California, she's going to have to face some uncomfortable truths. Neely and Seth have been in love for so long, almost from the day they met all those many years ago, but can't quite get it right. Too many lies have been told, secrets kept and meddling done to keep them apart. Neely's mother is a disgrace for all the sins she committed against her daughter's happiness. Her stepmother is disgusting for the little games she plays to undermine Neely. But Seth and Neely are their own worst enemies. They don't face a problem head on because they are both too quick to jump to false conclusions rather than finding out the truth. This story is intense, surprising, angst-filled with some sweetness. I almost fear, but have to see what Andrea Smith has planned for them in the next book!
The third book in the "Evermore" series by Andrea Smith, "Paparazzi," is more visceral and intense than the previous books in this series. I have loved each book, but this one reminds me of how trauma affects our existence.
Neely suffered tremendously. Through a series of events that were out of her control, people thought the worst. Of course, as many people do, Neely makes poor decisions. We have all been there. The third installment of this series is more emotional, gutwrenching, and not as easy of a read. There is a ray of sunshine at the end of "Paparazzi."
I honestly cannot say how much I like this series. It is out of my wheelhouse, and yet it suits me perfectly. Most people who read this will be able to sympathize and empathize with the main characters. I recommend "Paparazzi" to anyone who loves a good drama. I also suggest reading the books in the correct order. The time jumps in each book would not make sense if you didn't read the previous books in order. It is well worth the read!
The twists and turns deepen with this brilliant series....
Having read the first two books in this series, Crushed and Claimed, I needed to read more. Andrea Smith has totally echanted me with her Evermore Series and continues to do so. Paparazzi is the continuing story of Neely Evans and Seth Drake, and the love that they share but are never able to fully appreciate.
Neely has a new job, she's working as a member of the paprazzi and her star is rising. Neely is working under the alias of "Grace Evangelista" and has become one of the best in her field. She's able to get the shots that everyone else wants. Seth's star is also on the climb as a star in Hollywood. Neely misses Seth terribly, but refuses to admit it and Seth has a hole in his life but is unsure of what that hole is - until he sees Neely again at a party.
Andrea Smith reveals so many secrets in this one. The glimpses into the past gave so much more insight into the relationship between Neely and Seth - It answered a lot of questions that I had from Book 2. There are several incidents that are disclosed that had an effect on their relationship - incidents that even the reader had no knowledge of. Such is the wonderful work of Ms Smith and her brilliant imagination.
The one question that remains for Neely and Seth is, will they ever get together and find their happiness? In her usual style, Ms Smith keeps the reader waiting, but the story along the way is simply breathtaking. I cannot wait to see where she takes the final installment of this story.
This by far was my favorite book out of the Evermore Series. There were surprises, heartache and frustration. Neely and Seth just can't catch a break. The journey to adulthood the Neely and Seth is fun and frustrating but young love always is. Paparazzi springs surprises on you that most won't see coming. This book brought a tears to my eyes.
Title: Paparazzi Author: Andrea Smith Release Date: November 1st, 2016 Page Count: 197 Start Date: January 6th, 2022 Finish Date: January 6th, 2022
Review: Story: Neely has taken a job that nobody would suspect her getting into. She's become a paparazzi. The very thing that tore her family apart. That she loathed. Nobody knows it's her though. Not even the boy who was once her very whole world. I thought that this book couldn't get any better. I couldn't figure out why they made this a four part series. I was wrong. I was so very wrong. I'm glad for each and every book. I will be honest though. I think they could have all been put into one book. I get why it was turned into a series instead though. Characters: Neely is really growing comfortable in her skin. I think she may even be healing and moving on. Seth also seems to be growing and thriving in his career as well! Critiques: None. Just the personal wish these were all one book. Maybe a duology. Narration: Full star performance. Final Thoughts: I didn't expect to get hooked into this series. It's definitely more intense and emotionally driven than I ever expected it to be. Well I expected it to be emotionally driven, but in a negative way. I can't really explain that. I can say that I am glad that I was wrong.
My God, how I love this series! I think it keeps gets better and better with each passing novella! In Paparazzi, we pick up where Book #2, Claimed, lets off. Neely has a new job and is getting on with her life...one without Seth. She is thriving and really starting to make a name for herself, but even with success, that special something is always missing. The question is...will these two ever find their way back to one another or will they find happiness apart? That is always the question with this author's books and she will happily keep you hanging on the edge of your seat until the very last page!
One of the things I love most about this book is how Andrea kept me guessing the whole way through. The jumps between past and present were brilliant. Her writing style allows her to do this quite flawlessly and I have to say, for as frustrating as it is sometimes (because I'm an instant gratification girl when it comes to books), it is always so worth it in the end. Which brings me to-yes, this is another cliffhanger, a pretty big one, but I know that the last book, Star F*cking, will be the best yet!
*An ARC was kindly provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Oh my, I never expected this step in Nelly’s journey. She embarks on the one career that I thought she would stay away from. The photography bug bit when her dad got her a camera and now she is a paparazzi. The hurt inflicted by Seth runs deep while she faced yet another challenge alone. Her mom is on the mend while Seth’s career is on the rise. Is there any chance these two star-crossed lovers can ever find a way back to each other? The drama is ramped up as Nelly uses her new job to the ultimate advantage and a little bit of revenge.
I love the Evermore Series. Neely has dealt with so much in these stories, but she comes out stronger. With her job of flash photography taking her to places she wouldn't go otherwise, she keeps tabs on Seth. Seth is in his own world of stardom and has no idea. They belong together but are so far apart because of happenings that are unknown to them. I am looking forward to reading Star F*cking. Thanks, Andrea
This Emotional Story Finally Begins To Fill In The Blanks! Tears Will Be Shed Before It Concludes, And At Least One Big Secret Remains Between The Couple.
This is the third book in the four part Evermore series. The first part tells the story of the friendship formed between young Neely and her Malibu neighbor Seth when her family moves from Tennessee. The pair becomes best friends for years and finally transitions to boyfriend and girlfriend when she is fifteen and he is sixteen. Neely wants to be an artist and enjoys painting, and Seth wants to follow in his mother's footsteps to become an actor. But when her father's affair hits the tabloids, Neely's mother returns to Tennessee, taking Neely with her. The pair keeps in touch until she breaks up with him during her one and only visit before he leaves for college in New York. Seth had wanted more from her than she was ready to give, and when his mother shared her own concerns about Neely and the relationship, Neely knew it was best they not make promises.
In the second book, Neely has returned to Malibu two years later. Her mother is finally getting the help she needs for her alcoholism, so Neely is finishing high school in California. Living with her father's mistress-turned-wife proves to be a challenge, but Neely is a survivor and makes it work. She turns to her artwork once again, the only thing that gives her purpose.
After using her new camera to take pictures on the beach on New Year's Eve, Neely tries but doesn't escape Seth's notice. She had heard his family was out of town and thought it was safe. An awkward exchange ends quickly, but when Seth shows up drunk later that evening, he doesn't seem interested in discussing the past.
Neely faces challenges both with her new stepmother and Seth. Neither can be trusted, and their motivations are not always clear. As she works through her dark times and discovers new facts, she has the support of a new friend to help her through.
This book opens one year following the epilogue of book two, when Neely appeased her stepmother and agreed to stand in for one scene as Seth's love interest on the show. Neely is now five weeks away from receiving her associate degree and plans to quit school then work full time. Her friend Jazzy is the only person in her life now, for the most part. Jazzy has repeatedly told Neely that she isn't living up to her full potential, and despite her deep wells of patience, Jazzy seems to be growing impatient with Neely's obsession with Seth Drake.
Neely had changed her major to Commercial Photography at the beginning of her second year. Painting had lost its meaning to her a year ago, when she had last seen Seth. She has been working part time for a hollywoood private investigator, taking pictures of cheating spouses. She needs money, so eventually she gives in and accepts a job working for a tabloid, which happens to pay well. She has become a paparazzi, which she can hardly justify given her disdain for the profession. She continues to follow Seth via the tabloids, punishing herself for the awful way things ended one year ago.
As the story unfolds, Neely flashes back to episodes over the past two years, remembering everything that went so wrong with Seth. Seth's career and love life appear idyllic from afar. The contrast with her own sad and empty life is night and day, but she doesn't find it within herself to move on.
Midway through, Seth's POV is introduced to the series, and several chapters tell his story both now and in the past. He discusses what happened to him when Neely left him that summer, what he was thinking when he arrived at her house drunk, and what really happened the night of the bonfire on the beach. He tells what happened in rose garden, and sheds light on his love life since.
This emotional story finally begins to fill in the blanks, and tears will be shed before it concludes. At least one big secret remains between the couple, though. It will have you grabbing for the final book in the series to see if Seth Drake and Neely Evans finally get their happy ending.
Seth and Neely's angsty story places a wholesome southern beauty in the midst of the next generation of the Hollywood elite. Neely begins to assimilate in this story, in spite of her struggles. The story is well-written. The plot is somewhat complex. The characters are carefully crafted. They feel genuine. The story is written in first person mostly from Neely's POV, with several in Seth's. I rate this book 4.5 stars.

Fabulous Story & Audible Listen🎧 Captivating & Heartfelt!
Paparazzi Evermore Series, Book 3 By: Andrea Smith Narrated by: Rachelle Williams
Andrea Smith continues to wow me with her “Evermore Series”. She is an amazing author who continues to write stories that capture both your attention and your heart from start to end. In the first two books we saw Neely transition from a young adult to mature young lady. She continues to have a love/hate relationship or rather non-relationship with Seth Drake. Seth was her best friend in her teenage years, their friendship turned into more but life got in their way and their relationship did not survive. In this third book, Neely’s career takes off, it is not her dream job but it is something she is good at. And it brings her right into Seth Drake’s circle of Actors, Musicians and other infamous people. Seth can not get Neely out of his mind or out of his system but he wants to and to do so he needs answers. But he may like what he finds out. It was heartbreaking to find out what Neely went thru, her lose and her mother’s selfishness and betrayal. I am loving this series and am looking forward to what happens next with Neely and Seth, will they get their happily ever after or will something else sabotage what is meant to be. Andrea Smith, thank you for this amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Rachelle Williams is a fabulous narrator and voice artist. She continues to bring these characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. Her portrayal of the characters is spot on, she captures their passion and emotions and projects them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧
Book 3 in this series of books about Neely and Seth's epic romance. These two are in and out of eachothers lives and right now they are apart and there is animosity between them. Neely is now a private investigator which slowly becomes a job as paparazzi..which she takes on a different identity so no-one would recognise the woman revealing all the secrets of the celebrities. She is also estranged from both her parents and her step mother continues to be a thorn in Neely's side. This book is more emotionally charged than the first 2 books and it was heartbreaking, the secret that is revealed was something I never saw coming. Seth and Neely seem to have a huge wedge between them and still they continue to be obsessed with eachother. Narration is Fantastic as always by Rachelle Williams and Alexander Cendese they keep me captivated to this story and are the ideal choices for Neely and Seth. I really like the ending to this book because it was happier than the other books. Loving Andrea Smith's writing and I am am eager for the next book to see what happens. Excellent. 5 Stars.
Title: Paparazzi Author: Andrea Smith Format: Audio Narrator: Rachelle Williams Genre: YA/NA, second chance (kinda) Standalone: Nope Part of a Series: Book 3 (of 4) in Evermore POV: Neely and Seth Steam Level: Some sexual content but not very graphic (or sexy) 4/5
Paparazzi is book 3 (of 4) in the Evermore series. I liked the additions of Seth's POV starting toward the middle of the book. While still not together Seth and Neely are coming close to drifting closer. Both still love each other but both are too stubborn to talk it out. Paparazzi is very angsty and what was alluded to very briefly in passing in book 2 is confirmed in more detail in Paparazzi. I look forward to Seth and Neely finally (hopefully) reuniting. And, while this series is good and keeps you intrigued, there is no reason it had to be four novella-length installments. Paparazzi is probably the same length and the first two combined and it looks like book 4 is about the same length as this one. By now I'm invested in this series but I'm not sure I'd recommend, unless in a boxset. A lot happed but very slowly. The plot is plodding and both Seth and Neely say some things to each other that are cruel and hurtful, just to be cruel and hurtful. Andrea Smith has a lot to overcome to make their HEA (if they have one) come together.
Paparazzi Evermore Series, Book 3 By: Andrea Smith Narrated by: Rachelle Williams
As this story continues, I am completely invested in the outcome of Seth and Neely! Book 3 is packed full of decisions, emotions and drama that is intoxicating. Neely is following her path with photography. In need of money, she finds that the kind of picture taking she dislikes the most is the one that pays the most. And Grace Evangilsta, the most sought after Paparazzi photographer is born. This choice of profession though can lead to finding things out you don't necessary want to know! We get a glimpse of Neely's mom, some memories of Halloween and consequences we didn't see coming. It's highly emotional and all I do is keep routing that someway things will work out! So much to tie up, so many questions to still answer, I am queuing book 4 and going in! Rachelle Williams keeps emotions high and the story flowing with her amazing storytelling!
Oh! Andrea Smith I'm so in love with this series. You got me with this beautiful young love romance!
It has a roller coaster of a story line!!! Neely, I love that name, finds herself as a famous paparazzi known as Grace Evangelista. She is really good at her job, even if it will hurt loved ones.
Seth is in demand with his acting. Jazz, I love her, is Nelly's bff and the best influence in her life!! Neely and Seth still have feelings for each other, but have not seen each other. There is alot of unsaid secrets between them.
This fast paced, well written story will capture your heart. It is so bitter sweet, so realistic. I cried when they finally meet up. I am now reading book 4 and thank you Andrea Smith for this book, for an honest review. You blew me away, in such a good way!
Okay, this is book 3 in Andrea Smith's Evermore series. I highly recommend reading this series in order to get the most from this amazing story line and characters. This book continues with the lives, loves and hurts that are Neely and Drake. Their love is so strong that it is a constant bond or bind with these two. Secrets are revealed and reactions are explained...but in the end "it dons't matter...so long as it one or the other" and they are in each other's lives as either friends or lovers. Will they be able to be honest and over come all they've done to and for each other. Here's to hoping book 4 will have a HEA (fingers crossed). This book literally had me in tears!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review. *review is based on the audio version of this read
Andrea Smith pulls you into this emotional story, from the very beginning. Neely is not the young, immature, self conscience, naive, girl at the beginning of the series. She older, wiser and a self confident woman, that still loves Seth. Neely and Seth are at odds against each other. Neither one wants to talk it out, to get to the truth. Misunderstandings, betrayals, jealousy, and secrets are revealed that tore them apart. It's great to see that Neely gets her revenge on her stepmother and Seth's girl. A heartwrenching, ending that you'll be sobbing. Can they both recover from this? Rachelle Williams narration is flawless, and emotional. She is amazing. I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.
The story of Seth and Neely continues. They have both grown older and changed. Neely has had some difficult years and her mother's betrayal weighs heavily. And at some point, Neely runs into Seth again and finds out something incredible. Seth doesn't even know about her biggest secret yet and he really shouldn't have found out. What a rollercoaster ride of emotions! There were some parts in the book that were very heartbreaking. The story is full of emotion and I really hope they get a happy ending in the next volume!
Rachelle Williams has once again done a fantastic job bringing the story to life! It's always a pleasure to listen to her performance. Alexander Cendese does a great job too!
Andrea Smith's Evermore sucks you in and absorbing you to the unfolding drama. The storyline is beautifully written, particularly the moving parts. Neely is now a celebrity photographer, and she has risen in popularity. Despite their success, her heart continues to yearn for Seth. Seth and Leeny's journey is paved with obstacles keeping them apart. Will there love to withstand their stubbornness, misunderstandings, pride, and ill-intentioned parties?
Excellent narration by Rachelle Williams, she really captures the emotions the characters feel, bringing them to life. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
