The author did a great job of laying out the material and wrote it in a clear, easy to understand manner. Enough detail for anyone who likes to read military history but simple enough that others can learn from it also. However, it sorely needed just 15 minutes with a good editor and it would be 5 stars. The print is way too small, paragraphs not justified on both sides, no page numbers, photos not adjusted to a common size and maps not readable.

Usual interference by Hitler

The atlas war machine again and again falters due to Hitler's indecision and faulty judgement. It was interesting to learn more details of the Nordic countries involvement.

Very nice history

I never knew much about the fighting done by Finnland in WWII. This book filled that gap. It was succinct and well-written. I recommend this book to those interested in the beginning attacks on the Soviet Union in WWII.
