Recommends it for: medium-advanced tarot readers

This is by far my most favorite Tarot deck. The illustrations are gorgeous and the interpertations are quite detailed and in depth. As a bonus, it is gorgeous to look at and wonderful to use. However, I am uncertain if this would be the right deck for a complete beginner. This is one of five decks I currently use though and it is my favorite.

5 Stars for artwork & Vertigo interpretations
5 Stars for companion book, both in terms of content and publication/binding quality
5 Stars for packaging, box & card holding tray
3 Stars for card stock quality

This will be a good add on your sandman collection. 78 cards design by Dave Mckean and a small booklet written by rachel pollack and brief introduction from Neil Gaiman. I use this Tarot deck to do readings for myself and other people as well. downside , just be careful on using the cards, it can easily get crumbled.

The art is astonishing, no less could be expected from Dave McKean. It is by itself the main attraction of this item.

The box looks gorgeous, the book is splendidly done, there's even a nice bag for the tarots... but they're printed in cheap plastified paper, and the punch marks are horribly visible (where the tarots have been removed from the print sheet). I had to remove some paper slices that were still at

Love this deck, have both an original printing and the reprint for the 20th anniversary of the Sandman.
