Offers succinct definitions, with a smattering of examples, many types of divination fills the majority of the book. Most entries are rather short, even for far-reaching topics; offering enough to gain a general meaning of the term. There are also brief biographies of various figures in history with connection to mysticism, or esoteric subjects. Each entry is followed by a few select books for further reading.
There are full meanings given for runes, tarot, and dominoes.

An error I note in the formatting is that most of the astrological symbols are on their side, thus, incorrect.
