This is a cutie pie of a story about a woman finding her place in world. When she lands in Vine Grove she immediately feels and home and hopes it is a place where she can put down roots. Keaton just happens to be an added bonus to the whole place. If you are short on time but are looking for a quick read to put you in the Christmas mood then Christmas Kisses & Wishes by Sharon Kleve fits perfectly. I read this sweet story in under an hour but enjoyed it. The story hits the main days between October to December, leaving out much of the average day to day routine. Example Finn could work anywhere form home but not much of the story deals with her editing job.

There is sweet, heartwarming romance, a bit of dangerous suspense (that is solv

Short, sweet, endendearing read. This story was quick to read, but the characters stay with you after you close the book. When reading this book you feel a sense of home and love (puppy, cat and human).

Now this is what a Christmas romance is all about! Cute, cute, cute!

First - I loved this page from page one! I am totally convinced that you can tell if you're going to love a book or not after reading the first page. Every single book that leaves me giddy after page one I have ended up loving!
Second - this takes place in Washington state, that is one of the places I have always wanted to visit!

Ahh what a lovely Christmassy novella. I feel all festive now that I’ve read it! If you are looking for a nice, short, easy read then I definitely recommend Christmas Kisses and Wishes by Sharon Kleve.

The story is about Finn who is on a 12 month holiday following her divorce. She moves around every 3 months looking for somewhere to settle. She finds herself in the small town of Vine Grove and instantly falls in love but is it the town or the su

This short story is part of the series The Love List. The Love List was made up by a group of friends while enjoying a glass of wine. Each one of them wrote down the name of a nice guy that they wouldn’t date, but maybe their friends would. Then they all had to choose one of the names and ask them out. Perfect set-up for a series of 4 sweet romance books with the same beginning but a very different story. Christmas Kisses & wishes is a short add-on to the series, complete with Christmas spir ...more

A sweet Christmas short story that fans of dogs, small towns and cozy settings will enjoy. The biggest challenge with this short story is that it should have been a book. I know with Christmas/holiday stories, they tend to be short and often in anthologies. I think it’s a challenge for authors who typically write longer pieces to pare a story back to its essence when fitting it within the confines of so few pages – in this case, only about 25 pages. It’s too bad because I really enjoyed the char ...more

This is a short holiday romance. While I thought the story was good, as I read it, I felt as if I was on a fast-moving train and, if I even stopped for a second to catch my breath, I would fall right off and be left behind. The story moved along in a very rushed manner. Finn has gone through a bad divorce and has spent most of the past year since then in three different places, spending about three months in each place, trying to figure things out while putting her life back together. In this st ...more

This is a very short holiday romance with a very small pinch of suspense. It is a clean romance with some very sweet making out. Finn has been through a divorce, and is traveling around for a year to help figure out what she wants in her life, it's the last 3 months of that year, and Finn lands in Washington State in a small wine centric town. The story spans October, November, and December with time jumps, so we get a pinch of Finn's activities of each of the months. Finn meets Keaton, and begi ...more

This was a sweet, albeit short, holiday romance. I didn't realize before I started reading that it is book 2 in a series, but this book stands very well on its own. I enjoyed the small town setting, and the secondary characters were well-developed and interesting. Finn, the heroine, was also remarkably well developed given the length of the story, but I would have liked to get to know Keaton, the hero, a bit better. I didn't learn much about him other than that he was a veterinarian and that he ...more

I really like this short story. Finn and Keaton are really sweet. I've read all four of the Christmas Love List books and two of them should have been great full length books. All four are good stories. I'm not sure what made me like this one so much ... maybe because I'm an animal person. I wish I could have held on to Finn and Keaton a little longer. Finn is recently divorced and currently traveling with her Pug, Scorch. She has spent 3 months in three different areas and now intends to spend ...more

She met a man who was possibly the man of her dreams named Keaton. He was a handsome veterinarian. They both shared their love for animals. Soon they become best friends and tie the knot.

Short, sweet, loveable.l, & fast paced, everything I love in a romance. I'm not a typical reader who loves a long and drawn out romance. I love the short, fast paced and to the point type of book, with a little twist thrown in of course. And that's exactly what this was.

Finn is trying to find what path she wants to take after facing a divorce. And in this little slice gives us a show of Finn finding herself and the town she needs in her life. I love this small town and the charming people t

Christmas Kisses & Wishes was a warm and cozy read for the holidays. This was my first introduction to The Love List world, and it had the right amount of romance. Finn and Keaton were a sweet couple, perfect for one another. Finn's personal story had me rooting for her to find true love. And Keaton was the perfect man; he's caring and protective. The rest of the characters were just as charming and lovable. I can't wait to read the other women's stories. This was a short and sweet romance f ...more

Cute little story about a divorcee who takes a year to travel to four different parts of the country to find a place she can call home. Taking her dog Scrounge, Finn drives to the state of Washington, where one of the first people she meets is a sexy veterinarian. She also meets several interesting friends who help her make her final decision of whether to stay or keep looking for a home.

*I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinion stated are solely my own and no one else's*

This was a sweet Christmas story: it was short yet well written. The characters were developed really well despite the length of the book, which was a good surprise. This was a heartwarming story: bringing together two animal lovers.
