This is a book that fascinated me. I was struck by the main character Webb's repulsion with the fame he achieved writing his first book. While he sought out a quiet "new" life, it was not to be so when Kassidy and then Kennedy came into his life.

The quality of writing met my expectations for such a great plot. I marvelled at how Buchmann painted such lively women - and the flirtatious mother of the twins turned more horrific with each scene she bulldozed through in this book.

This book is absolutely incredible. There are no words to describe how deeply this book resonated with me. I am an avid reader nearing 100 books a year, yet this is one of the best books I've read in years! From the beginning, I adored the unconventional friendship between an older gentlemen, Rick, and a lively young girl, Kassidy. As the story unfolded, I became even more attached to the characters and was sad to see it come to an end. It will will be incredibly hard to chose what to read next, ...more
