this book was about a football player named Brett Favre. He played for the green bay packers in the NFL. Brett was a quarter back and he was number 4 .Later in the season, Brett was the starting quarter back for the packers. This book talks about Brett's life and making it into the NFL .Brett's dad was his high school football coach. In high school,Brett was bring the coaches from every where to watch him play. He had a monster arm and the coaches definitely noticed his accuracy .In practice, Brett threw a pass to one of his receivers and broke one of there pinkies! Since Brett is a quarter back,he gets sacked a lot, which could lead to quit a bit of pain. And what do football players take when there hurt? painkillers. Brett would always be hurting, so he started taking painkillers. But Brett would later realize that he was addicted to them. Brett would take as many as 15 pills a night! One day at one of his games, Brett admitted to everybody that he was addicted to painkillers. So he got help to stop the addiction. My opinion of the book is that it is a really good and descriptive book. You learn a lot about the football player(Brett Favre). I would recommend to read this book if your interested in football and learning about the football players.
