This book had nearly zero character development. And I'm surprised Disney would put out such a sexist, shallow, misogynistic story as this. Count me as dis-a-point-ed. Don't waste your time. Look for Clifford the Big Red Dog.

In this retelling of the story of Belle and the Beast for early readers, young children will find the relationship between words and illustrations strengthened. In each double-page illustration in this board book, labels for various items show the child the word that represents the item, helping them develop early reading skills.

Young readers are sure to appreciate the familiar tale as well as the opportunity to learn new words.

Myself, I go out on the weekends and
shop thrift store and bulk book lots to rescue books and donate them. Sometimes I'll find a book I remember reading when I was young and will read it again before passing it on.

I don't rate these books using my normal scale, instead I give most of them three stars. This isn't a Criticism of the book, simply my way of rating them as good for children.
