Great book

Very well written story. I liked the authors style even tho' he used some words that i had to get a dictionary out for. He was slow to release the facts of the past so it kept the reader turning pages.

Rare author for this time period

In 1916 there wasn't that many author s that could write I deep POV, but this one hit wonder is a true treasure to read.

Wow

While the story was a bit Hollywood happy ending, the writing was colorfully superb!

The characters were captivating and we'll developed throughout...but always...the paragraphs that caused me to catch my breath.
