When an uptight contractor and a happy-go-lucky veterinarian come together, the Florida Keys may never be the same again.

Kent Casado loses his husband, his home, and his business in a nasty divorce. Bitter, alone and almost penniless. He retreats to a beach cottage in the Keys for a respite.

Dusk Keller never allows others to define him. He loves everything about his life in the Keys as Dr. Dusky to all the local pets. It all changes when his daily walk on the beach leads him right past a delicious silver fox.

As casual becomes complicated, will this May-December romance be worth the wait?

Really enjoyed this - sweet and warm with equal touches of wisdom and humor. Kent found himself at rock bottom after
divorcing his husband and leaving with nothing but an old shack on the Florida Keys. Dusk many years Kents junior was the local vet who lost his home and practice in a hurricane. Both characters were rebuilding and seemed to have found each other at the low points of their lives. While there was a bit going on, I really enjoyed the steady flow of Dusk & Kent as the MCs. If you enjoy low angst and a warm smile this book is a great short read ❤

The author writes well but I felt like the story was incomplete. The narrative seemed to skip over relationship details and the ending was too abrupt for the direction events had gone in, for my tastes anyway. Entertaining enough.

Kent, although older, grew alot in this book. He stepped back and reevaluated his life with his ex husband and realized where things diverged. He realized that they were two different people and he didn’t want to become like his ex had. He wanted to work hard and be appreciated. He wanted someone around him that was a hard worker and honest. But when the book first starts he is looking more at the now and the pain he was feeling and not the future. Overall Kent was a good guy. He was just needing to get perspective and heal. To me it was Dusk that helped him heal and see what he wanted.

Dusk was so sweet. He was hard working and stubborn. He wanted to get everything based on his hard work and sweat. You can understand this to a point and when Kent does something he thought was a good thing it got Dusk angry. Not because of the action but because Kent didn’t think. Dusk would rather have Dusk helping with his hammer than throwing money at the issue. Dusk was younger than Kent so he still has alot to learn on life but in other ways he has a kind old soul. He is just adorable and how he helps Kent is amazeballs.

Watching these two fall in love was so fun and sweet. We see Kent go from surly to heated to fighting his attraction to giving in and giving us a amazing love story. Kent and Dusk help each other. For Kent he heals and learns to love again but also find someone who is his equal. For Dusk he finds the man for him. We get some steamy scenes and you can feel the sexual tension and attraction come off the pages. Their journey is fun and sweet and Dusk will have you fall in love with him from the beginning. Kent takes a little bit to warm up to only because you are feeling heartbroken for him at first and don’t get to really see anything but his grumpy side due to his situation. It is dusk who brought him back and showed us the Kent that was sexy and sweet.

A entertaining and fun book on healing, acceptance, and finding love with someone who is your equal and respects and supports you. These two will give you a sexy wild entertaining ride in their love story.

Another great read from the Trade Me collection of M/M romances from Hot Tree Publishing. Found You is a quick engaging sweet romance with a touch of opposites attract.

Dusk Keller has been raised in a free and hippie environment who has gone on to pursue his dream career as a vet. Now living back in Florida near his non-conformist parents, he has always been comfortable in his own skin and sees each day as a new challenge. When the next hurricane hits, he finds it an even bigger challenge and looks to take on some odd job tasks in the community to earn some extra money to rebuild his vet surgery. This leads him to the grumpy new man on the beach who looks like he could do with a good friend and when he catches him checking him out, Dusk pursues the hot older guy.

Kent Casado is healing from a broken heart and home having lost everything when he catches his partner of twenty years and husband of two years with the young twenty year old stud. Being one of the first to have a same sex marriage and now the first to divorce, he escapes to an inherited but dilapidated beach house in Florida. Using his skills in construction he sets to the task of rebuilding not only his new home but his life from scratch. When he meets the handsome surfer type young man on the beach who talks his way into being hired by Kent to help with the renovations, little does he realise what this association will lead them to.

I enjoyed this quick read and I liked that there was an age-gap romance plus Dusk being the light-hearted lover to Kent’s more reserved stance. I loved the relationship of these two men and the sub characters were also a hit. There was sufficient passion, entangled with romance, humour and tension to give the read a nice all round engagement. Four stars

I was gifted a copy of this book, direct from the author.

Kent ran to the Florida Keys after his divorce. Finding your husband in your bed with someone will break anyone's heart. Kent never expected Florida to have such a lovely view. He also didn't know that view came with a 5 am wake up call and dogs! Dusk's vet clinic suffered badly at the hands of Mother Nature and he is doing odd jobs to raise funds to fix it up again. Offering to help Kent fix his house seemed like such a good idea!

OH!! I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Ms Donovan does short and sweet so well!

102 (according to Amazon) pages of drama, wit, love, tension, and conflict. With just the right amount of history of both men, of the now, of the build up, and oh of the steam! ;-)

We get both men, their feelings, thoughts and actions. And we get just enough! I can't stress this point enough, I really can't.

Some short stories just don't have enough of anything to hold it all together, but Donovan crams the right amount of everything in and it's just perfect!

This is the first book I've read of Donovan's that is based solely in, and with characters from, the States. I was worried her humour that shines in the other books wasn't going to shine here. I need not have worried. The witty one liners and colourful language is all here and that made me a very happie bunnie!

Kent and Dusk are so well suited to each other, and that comes across right from the start. I loved the subtle signs from them both, loved how Donovan pulled them in.

short, sweet and sexy.

FOUND YOU by Dahlia Donovan is a must-read! It's a sweet and witty tale of Dusk and Kent, two men leading different lives who find themselves intertwined in a partnership of more than one kind. Dusk, with his laid-back attitude, making the first move on the heartbroken Kent is brilliant and brings the story to life. Her characters are lovable and you are rooting for things to work for them the entire time. Did I mention the sex scenes are hot and well-written? Heck, the entire book is well-written and a highly recommended read.

First "fuck-a-doodle-do" is my new favorite phrase. Now, Kent and Dusk...I have no words for how amazing these two are. I LOVED this book from start to finish. Not a single complaint. Great characters, wonderful story, the right amount of heat and romance, a perfect amount of humor. I believe I have read everything this author has out now and I've yet to be disappointed. Kent has been burned in the worst way, betrayed by someone he trusted and loved, forced to leave the life he'd been accustomed to, behind. Then Dusk, the sexy young vet with a tongue ring (rawr) comes into his life and challenges him to take a chance. Besides the two main characters, the side characters (Jesse, Derrick, Ramon) are especially memorable as well. And it was nice to see a little karma debt paid for Spencer. Now go buy this book!

Found You by Dahlia Donovan is a sweet romantic M/M story about a displaced construction worker who found himself divorced and stripped of his possessions and a vet who is trying to raise money to rebuild his vet clinic in Key West after a hurricane destroyed it.

The hurricane destroyed not only Dusk's clinic, but his home and he has to try to raise money to rebuild because the insurance is not enough. He refuses to take handouts and basically forces himself on Kent, the man who just moved to Key West. There is an attraction there, but he isn't sure Kent will take the bait. When he does, Dusk is determined that this will be a casual relationship. They both know the rules.

After finding his husband in bed with a younger man, Kent divorced him and let go of everything except his truck and the Key West home - which needs a lot of work before he can sell it and get some money in the bank. Dusk annoys him, but there is something lingering under the surface and he finally dives in. But will he be able to keep it casual? You can't plan for everything in life.

The story was sweet and the love was not instant, although there was an instant attraction. I loved Dusk's hippy parents and the way everyone interacted. I do think some parts were glossed over, but all in all, I really liked it and wished there was more of it. I like the strength of the characters, and I kept hoping that we would find out more about Jesse. He was such a mystery and stole the show a few times. 4 stars and I recommend that you one click today.

Found You starts with the aftermath of a hurricane in the Florida Keys. Dusk is left without his veterinarian practice/home, but is determined to fix it himself. He does odd jobs to save up his money, plus dealing with his client base where he can. He meets Kent on one of his morning walks, and decides to ask him if he needs any help fixing up the beach cottage where Kent is staying.

Dusk is in his 30s, and Kent in his 40s, and these two are simply fantastic together! They perfectly complement each other, and Dusk doesn't take any of Kent's cr*p, but also doesn't take offence at everything either. The attraction is pretty much instantaneous on Dusk's part, once he sees past Kent's grumpy exterior. Kent likes the look of Dusk, but is working through his own issues when they first meet.

With a wonderful cast of characters and situations, this book is short and sweet, with plenty of heat! I love the relationship that Dusk has with so many of the other characters. If you are looking for something to turn your temperature up as the weather gets colder, then I can definitely recommend this book, or indeed any of the others by Dahlia Donovan.

'You're grumpy, like an old rooster who can't crow anymore,You work too hard and think too much. You've been here how long, but never once actually enjoyed the beach.' (Dusk)

The 'Book Blurb' gives enough away so I don't feel the need to go into great detail as regards the story itself, but what I will say is I enjoyed this-the M/M Genre is one of my favorite's to read, and this flowed well with Dual POV's,there was some funny parts(mostly the dialogue from Dusk-his easy-going attitude and nature had me laughing out loud),the sex scenes were H.O.T. and well written. The character's were engaging, with their differences in not only age(Kent's in his 40's,Dusk nearing his 30's) but their attitudes to life. The story takes place over a period of about five months, and in that time both leads find something neither were looking for, there is some added drama-Kent's ex-husband's appearance, and the revelation of Kent's real Father turning up and connecting with his son,but all looks like a HEA for both Dusk and Kent,I would have liked it to be a bit longer/or an Epilogue but that is just a personal thing-as I said I did enjoy this story, and it is the first I've read by this Author.

What happens when two men have their lives turned upside down?
In the aftermath of another hurricane ,Dusk Kellers world is turned in all kind of directions. He's lost his vet clinic and his home. He's lost everything. Hurricanes were the only downfall from living in Key West, but he wouldn't move for anything. His only choice is to rebuild like always.

Kent has lost everything. His husband , his business, his home. Since he found his husband in bed with another man , hes broke, lost not sure what to do with himself. He pulls away from everyone and moves to the only place he has left. A little run down house in Key West. The only way he knows how to deal with everything is to put everything he has into the house. That's all he knows what to do. Work has always been there for him, why should that change.

Then the unexpected happens for both Dusk and Kent. Can they both really be happy? What happens when a casual fling turns into something so much more? Dusk and Kents story was a beautiful one. Two slightly broken men trying to figure out their future. Maybe a future together.

I really enjoyed this story. This author writes stories that flow so well. You get everything you will need. Can't wait to see what book comes next!

5 Loving Stars

This was my first book to read by Dahlia Donovan and I must say this was a refreshing great story.

For only be a novella it sure hit the mark. There was complete character development, plot and HEA found with out cutting any corners. Kent is a 40 year old divorcee who is try to rebuild his life after everything he build was taking by is former husband.

Dusk is the local vet down in the Keys who's practice was ruined by a hurricane. Being to proud to ask for hand outs or help from his parents Dusk does the odd jobs all around the island to fun the rebuilding of his practice.

The likelihood of these two meeting and hitting it off was something no one saw coming. Even with the age differences these two found a bond and chemistry develop that rocked thier lives.
Neither looking for a new relationship yet also not realizing how much they cared for each other. The fun wit of Dusk and the gentle yet ornery sole that Kent exudes actual is the perfect combination that these two never tought they needed. This is a wonderful read about finding love in the most unusual of place and realizing what you once had or thought was love was no where near the real thing!

Kent and Dusk are from different worlds you can say and cannot be more different. Kent is recently divorced and in a new town after losing it all (husband, business, money-you name it). He is trying to move on and pick up his life.
Dusk is a mix of his mom and dad. He is laid back and loves being a Vet. While he is trying to rebuild his business after the hurricane he never expected to find someone.
Kent is like a grumpy old man and Dusk brings out the traits Kent suppresses, whether he likes it or not. Spencer you sorry man, you ruined over twenty years for what? I am glad Kent saw the light when you came to pay a visit. No one is looking for a relationship, but they each helped each other whether in a friendship, rebuilding their businesses or when it came to food. Talk about complicated, you found that here in this story. Kent was like a hurricane with a bad omen haha. Dusk is like Dr. McDreamy in the Vet world. A short read worth your time.

When Dusk's veterinarian practice is destroyed in a storm, he takes to doing odd jobs as a way of saving for the repairs. Kent is in the Keys after a nasty break-up from his husband and is working on fixing up the house. Dusk's energy and positive thinking contrast with Kent's seriousness. He finds a way under Kent's walls.

'Found You' was about understanding what is important to you and working hard to achieve it. Love does not come easily and needs to be worked on and shown every day. I loved the contrasting personalities of Dusk and Kent that worked well together and complimented each other perfectly.

There was certainly lots of heat between Dusk and Kent as the attraction sizzled between them. I also loved the sweetness between them and the banter between them sees Kent relaxing. A great, short read.

A quick, easy cute read. The characters Kent and Dusk are wonderful characters. Kent just went through a divorce after finding his husband in bed with a younger man. Left with nothing but the house in the Keys, he heads there to start over.

After a hurricane destroys most of his animal clinic, Dusk gets busy trying to repair what the storm destroyed. Trying to earn extra money for the repairs he helps Kent fix his beach cottage.

These two are great. I love that Kent is older and he and Dusk are wonderful together. Great story, excellent writing and a hot little read.

Found You was a good read.

I loved to read about Kent and Dusk reconstruction of both their places and their lives.
I've appreciated how the story develops without any major drama focusing instead on the main characters growing attraction and affection.

This was a short novella but the author made an amazing job to deliver a very compelling and intriguing story in a few pages.

Another solid addition to the Trade Me series. The pace of life and the secondary characters make living there seem ideal. Dusk and Kent are perfect for each other, despite their many differences. And just like everyone living in their small town, I'd like to know more about Jesse.

Found You By Dahlia Donovan is an M/M story ,and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet story. Dahlia Donovan has given us a story that is touching ,sweet, and really has a witty tale about Dusk and Kent. Talk about two people who live different lives ,and who totally finds their lives are intertwined more then partnership but in more ways then one. Dusk is a laid back kind of guy with a laid back attitude,,but the way he made the first move was brilliant and just brings this whole story together. The characters are quite lovable and makes you want to continue reading to see what happens between this two, and as you are reading these two characters seem to jump off the pages at you. And the sex scenes are steamy and hot ,and are very well written. This story is so well developed, and the plot flows great even with the daul P.O.V. I could tell you more about Dusk and Kent ,but that would spoil this whole story for you.I highly recommend that you read this amazing M/M story ,you won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed the story of the two guys - Kent and Dusk - getting to know each other, very much an opposites attract thing. They definitely attract and certainly get together many times and oft!
I did get a bit pee’d by the third party referrals - the veterinarian, the builder, the man etc.
Dusk for all his laid back Florida ways is still quite principled and has his pride about accepting help.
Kent has to learn a new way of life, much different to Colorado.
I don’t think they were as far apart in age as i intimated from the story, but perhaps in approach and attitiude!
Enjoyed but wanted to like more and have liked others by the author more.

Though I liked the characters this read partially like a travelogue... though the chickens were talked about what was surprisingly not mentioned was the fact that they are protected. Not allowed to be disturbed. Also filled with many contradictions. As well as unrealistically rehabbing buildings without any mention of codes, permits or inspections. SMH

I generously received an ARC from Hot Tree PR in exchange for an honest review...

A quick, cute and fast-paced love story... The main characters Kent & Dusk's relationship was truly the perfect read!

Kent lost everything when he found his husband in bed with a younger man. Leaving everything behind, he moves into a little run down house in the Key West. In order to forget, he puts everything into rebuilding that house. When Kent and Dusk's worlds collide, they must see whether or not they can heal each other.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and so will you! :)

I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.

This was a short quick read. It is full of humor and passion between Dusk and Kent. After a hurricane blows through the Florida Keys, Dusk is in the process of rebuilding his vet clinic. After going through a rough time Kent has decided to move to his little cottage in the Keys to reevaluate his life. This two were funny and so totally opposite of one another. I really enjoyed the book, but I felt like we needed a little more at the end. It is very well written and the characters are great.

It was not too bad. I just didn't like Dusk (he reminded me of Deeks from NCIS LA too much). I wanted more angst and seriousness but it all was too lighthearted. Also the writing suffered a lot from "telling" instead of "showing".
