Bang Gang

Rate this book
It’s one thing knowing your ex-boyfriend is a bit of a player, but it’s another thing altogether to find out he’s pimping himself out to anyone who’ll pay good money for it.

Not just himself, either. That would be far too regular for Darren Trent.

Darren Trent – my teenage sweetheart and father to my two young girls – is not just whoring himself out. Oh no. Darren Trent pimps himself out alongside four of his mechanic friends – all of them at the same time.

Five hot, sweaty mechanics at your service.

They call themselves the Bang Gang… you can imagine.

In a village our size I should keep my head down and hope the scandal blows over before the girls or my poor old Nanna catch wind of it.

Only it’s not blowing over. Far from it. It seems every woman in the village wants themselves a five-mechanic sandwich.

They make no qualms about it, either. Just rock on up to my café counter and ask how they can book themselves in for a Bang Gang special. Like I would know.

I definitely wouldn’t know. I hardly even know Darren Trent anymore. We split up a lifetime ago.

I definitely don’t think about him late at night. Don’t think about five mechanics and me as much as every other woman in this village.

And even if I did, I wouldn’t act on it. I wouldn’t draw the money from my savings account and have a go for myself.

And even if I did that, I definitely, definitely wouldn’t fall for him. Not again. Not after everything we went through. Not after splitting up the first time nearly brought me to my knees.

Not after settling into a decent routine, the girls and me, with no drama, no heartbreak, no crazy passions to rock the calm little boat we’re sailing on.

I mean, who would be stupid enough to risk all that over a hot, sweaty, oily bit of rough like Darren Trent?

Another creak of the door, and there was Ruby.
He beckoned her over. “Come on, Rubes, group hug, room for another small one.”
She smiled her brightest smile, and came over, flung her arms around all three of us, and there we stayed, four broken people who hadn’t realised they were broken, not until they were put back together again.
I hugged Ruby and Mia, and Darren hugged all of us.
I felt safer than I’d felt in years. More complete than I’d felt in years.

How can a book with

THIS book-cover with the five shirtless men,
THIS blurb about the Bang Gang mechanics who are whoring themselves and
ALL THESE graphical sex scenes,

be so emotional and family focused without being ridiculous?

I still have not find a clear answer to this question. But definitely Jade West’s writing style has made it happen.

If I could compare this book to something, I can only think movies. The book is a combination of
Magic Mike
The Full Monty
The Calendar girls and
Gangbang porn movies in general.

Be careful! This is not really a smut book! The erotic scenes with the female customers are full of misery. Women who are sick of their everyday life, their jobs, their husbands. And they need to escape inside the arms of 5 men who are paid well to make them feel good.

Darren Trent is the one of these 5 men and more particularly their boss in their everyday job as mechanics and in their part time job as male hookers. Darren is also the father of two adorable little girls and the ex-husband of Jodie.

Jodie is a strong and determine woman. She sees her youth slipping away and she is a prisoner of an ordinary life, being a single mum with two daughters who are so young that they don’t really appreciate her sacrifices.

These two children are the cause of everything. They influence the life of their parents without even realizing it.

And there is their father. Darren. The weekend dad. The best dad there is who teaches his little girl to swear (how cool is this), who lets her stay at his shop and play there. Who buys them stuff and make them giggle. Who never shouts. And he is just perfect according to them.

Not like their mum who is miserable 9 times out of 10. Who shouts and punish them if they do something naughty. Who insists they eat their greens. Who has to endure every little tantrum they throw and still prepare them for school.

The village. A little world. Snooping around, criticizing, being judgmental, gossiping, isolating the odd ones. Still want a piece of action.
Was I supposed to laugh with the behavior of the people of this village? Because I laughed a lot.
Oh, I love the small British villages. And I just loved the fact that the story takes place in England.

Jodie and Darren need to work their way back together. It will not be easy, because they mainly do not talk to each other, which is frustrating.

This book is not for everyone. But you should have already realized this from the title and from the book cover.
I just have to let you know that the book IS NOT the title or the book cover. There is much more than meets the eye.

Genre: Erotic Romance
Type: Standalone
POV: First Person - Dual
Rating:

Jodie Symmonds was a single parent to two young girls, Mia and Ruby. She had been working in a cafe for years to support her family. All was well until she started to hear rumors of her ex boyfriend's latest gig.

Darren Trent was a mechanic with four other men as his staff. He was a devoted father to his daughters. With garage business booming, he still found time to entertain the girls. But secretly, he also spent time for his other booming side business - a gigolo team to service their clients' fantasy. And one fantasy belonged to his own ex.

When I look at the title, cover and blurb, I thought this is all about the dirty sex. It turned out to be more than just a cheap thrill.

I’d always been with her, even when she couldn’t see it. Even when she didn’t believe it.

I love Darren. Not only for his hip thrusting, but also for his devotion to his family. His parenting might be unconventional, but that's exactly what made him endearing.

It made me feel so tingly – tingly and dirty all at once – being wanted by so many.

Jodie suffered alone for years, neglecting herself for her kids. I'm glad she took matters into her own hand and made changes for herself. I like how she wasn't afraid to go after what she wanted.

“I didn’t say any garage words, Dad, I promise.”

I absolutely adore Darren and Ruby's relationship. I love how they bonded over garage stuff. Both of them together were the source of most if the book's laughter and tears. Yes, there were sad moments in this book.

Her pussy clenched as she came and her asshole tightened with it. It sent me over the edge, thrusting up at her like a man fucking possessed. I came deep and hard, pulling my hands free to grab her hips and force her down onto my cock and hold her there.

The book is basically the first 50% dirty and last 50% heartwarming with the family elements. The dirty stuff was well, as dirty as a gang banging could be haha!

Bang Gang is a story of a woman rediscovering herself and a man claiming back what's his. It's sexy, dirty (lots of sweat and cum. Lots lol!) with a good dose of heart.

I decided to pick this book up after I read so many reviews stating that it was more than what it seemed based on the title and the cover. Now having read it, I have to say that I agree. Don't get me wrong, you still get the racy sex scenes, but not to the extent that you would think.

Bang Gang is really a second chance romance about a couple, Darren and Jodie, that fell in love when they were just teenagers. They wind up having two little girls, and soon the stress of being young parents struggling to make ends meet puts too much strain on their relationship. This ultimately results in them seperating.

Several years later, when the story begins, Jodie discovers that Darren and four of his coworkers have been sleeping with women together for money. They call themselves the Bang Gang, and to Jodie's horror have even slept with women she knows and sees regularly. She immediately becomes concerned that word is spreading all over the village where they live, and it will affect their girls. Darren tells her that they made a mistake by taking a big mouth client against his better judgement, and he won't be doing it again. He doesn't want it to affect the girls, and explains that he is in fact doing it for them in order to save money for their future.

It doesn't take long for Jodie's shock and outrage to turn to curiosity. Feeling frumpy and unattractive, she tries to "get her sexy back" by buying new clothes, getting her hair done, wearing makeup, and of course signing up for a proper gang bang. She doesn't think it will bother her ex, because they haven't been together in years. Meanwhile, she still has feelings for him. Ofcourse, she has no clue that he has never gotten over her either. Darren refuses her at first, but not willing to admit that it will bother him; he eventually gives in. As crazy as it seems, this is what leads them down a path back to each other.

I read this book from start to finish in one sitting. It kept me entertained the entire time. My favorite thing about the story was the two main characters. Jodie was a likable and very relatable character. How many mothers feel like they let themselves get so wrapped up in being a mom that they lose themselves? Darren is such an awesome father to his girls. That fact alone will have him winning you over in no time. His interactions with them are heartwarming to read. Jodie and Darren together were perfection. They had so much love and passion between them. However, I did want to hit them over the head a few times for their lack of communication, and tendency to be oblivious when it came to certain things.

This was my first book by this author, and it exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be reading more from her in the future.

If Jade West writes it, I will read it! She has quickly become one of my favorite authors for her ability to push the limits of erotica with no care. I love how she just writes what the hell she wants without worrying about the "normal" erotic romance. Bang Gang is no different and pushes the limits yet again, making me love it.

Now lets just forget about the hotness of the book for just a minute, I promise I'll get back to it. But this book isn't just a smutty story with no actual romance involved, which is what takes it from just a hot book and makes it a great hot romance. Jodie and Darren had their issues in the past and now in the future their nothing more than separated parents to their two girls. Yet when Jodie hears about Darren's side business she realizes that she's stopped living her life, and she wants to resolve that issue right away. With the help of Darren and his friends, of course.

I really liked that Darren and Jodie's past wasn't' brought up too much, and instead we got to see them living their future. And even though we never delved into what caused them to split and how they were when they were younger, I never felt like I was missing part of the story. I loved their slow building romance and all the sexy times in between it.

Back to the hotness of the book. Of course it was panty-melting! I mean, it's Jade West, basically just forget the panties while reading anything she writes. Because trust me, they will be ruined. I don't even know what it is about her books, but she makes me enjoy things I never thought I would. maybe she's a magician, or a witch, whatever the reason I'm just going to enjoy it and not question it too much.

So read her books! Be shocked, be amazed, and enjoy.

You will get it when you read it and its not what you think :)

This book is not what you think when you read the title it is so much more. This is a story about finding yourself, stepping out of your comfort zone, trust, love, second chances, friendship and most of all family.

It went through the struggles of single parenting and shared custody, the everyday troubles that are easily handled when two parents live together but are much harder for separated couples. The struggle of two people that lost their true love and neither really know why and how they learn to love again.

Darren Trent runs a mechanic shop in their Village but he also has been running a side business with his five mechanic co workers. They call themselves the Bang Gang and they offer a different kind of service to the one they offer at the mechanic shop, they service all the rich lonely women of neighbouring villages.

Jodie is Darrens ex and mother of his two daughters Mia and Ruby, she is easy to relate to for me in her struggles with parenting and how she lost herself there for awhile in raising her children. She wakes up one day wanting her old self back and wanting to live a little and boy does she.
I fell in love with Mia and Ruby, Ruby captured my heart with her spunk and humour. I liked reading child characters it makes a change to have a story with so much focus on the kids and one called Bang Gang, go figure.

So the Bang Gang thing was not as large a part of this book as I thought it would be but what parts there were, were kinky!!
 photo kinkyfuckery_zpsmovi7we3.jpg

So although it was not what I thought I really did enjoy this second chance romance, I would like to see a book about Buck ;)

Jodie Symmonds grew up in the small village where she resides with her two lovely daughters. Working at the local café, Jodie works hard to provide but over the years she’s lost her identity as a woman. Not wanting to trade her life for anything, Jodie resolves to move forward by living a fantasy.

“I was going to get mine, and it was going to be worth every penny, the experience of a lifetime alright.”

Darren Trent is a mechanic/shop owner with a muscled physique and hot tats to boot. Despite having a bit of a rough and tumble exterior, Darren has a big heart for his family. By wanting to provide for their future, Darren decides to moonlight and finds the demand for his services to be more than he could have ever expected.

“I can give them what they want and charge them a fair price, I’ll do it. This is no different, Jo, it’s just a fucking gig, same as the others.” He gestured at the cars around us. “Just like the motors, only I use a different fucking tool.”

Jodie's and Darren’s past is full of memories, meeting as teenagers then having with two daughters together. The demands of having a family at such a young age took its toll, causing them to separate, but Jodie and Darren always agreed to put their girls first. However, now their paths cross in a place they never could have predicted.

“My hands gripped at his shoulders, and he was broader, firmer. He backed me into the door, his kiss hot and heavy, so deep that I felt consumed. I always felt like that with Darren.”

When the word around the small village gets to Jodie about a group of five men called Bang Gang, she is intrigued and believes experiencing such a fantasy will lift her out of this slump. But once she discovers Darren is the leader of this bangeroo, her resolve is tested and other emotions come to the surface. Darren has his own reservations but if his Ex wants a gang bang, then so be it, hey! And, it is scorching hot!!

“We were everything. “I’m not gonna stop,” he barked. “…All fucking night, Jodie. I’m gonna fuck you til you beg me to fucking stop.” He twisted my face until he could look me in the eye. I smiled. Oh how I fucking smiled. “All night,” I whispered. “Until you fucking beg,” he said and pushed his cock in to the hilt.”

description

As Jodie gets her wish, the exchange between Jodie and Darren becomes intense on many levels leading to a plot that is heavily anchored in their lives and how they transition into stronger, renewed couple. There’s no doubt about how they feel about each other but their insecurities prevent them from sharing their true feelings until they can no longer withhold the truth. Bang Gang is a story that offers much more than sexy, hot times. It is about living lives that can have challenging times, but learning how to embrace one’s vulnerabilities to move forward and effect a change.

“We’re different people now, Darren. Different but the same, maybe a little older and wiser, hey?”

I loved Jodie and Darren and how they deeply loved and respected each other, while apart and together. As for the kids, Mia and Ruby, added to the plot and character development. For me, Ruby was a stand out since she was like a mini Darren and reading how they limit the “garage talk” only to the shop was funny and endearing. Oh, and a shout out to Big Buck too!

Whenever I read a Jade West book, I know it’s going to be anchored in flowing dialogue with interesting characters and Bang Gang is no different, as Jade is a skillful storyteller. This story of second chance love offers a full range of emotions plus Jade’s writing shows how adept she is at writing kink, romance, humor or drama, and in the end, it just made me feel good. I highly recommend Bang Gang!

Bang Gang is a smoking hot erotic romance with a lot of heart. Jodie Symmonds is a single mom working hard to keep her kids fed and her Nanna well cared for. She tries hard not to think about the lack of spice in her life or the emptiness she feels when she thinks about her ex-Darren Trent. Living in a small town can be a blessing most days, but when Jodie catches the latest gossip, her heart is broken. All the town is talking about her ex Darren and how he is orchestrating a special service around town. That service includes five hot-bodied mechanics that will "service" any woman for the right price. Instead of shying away from the news, Jodie steps up her game and decides that she would like to have her own turn with the team. However, when Jodie and Trent experience intimacy again, it doesn't take them long for the old feelings to come rushing back. Although the Bang Gang is a lucrative operation, Trent knows in his heart that all he has ever wanted is to have his family back together. With the gossip going rampant around the town, can Jodie and Trent actually find a way to rekindle the fire they once had?

"Just let me come home."
Told in dual POV, Bang Gang is an absolute delight. I was initially hesitant to approach the reverse-harem trope as I tend to get my emotions too invested in the characters of the stories I read. I allow myself to get distracted with worry that hearts will be broken, which transforms into massive angst for me! However, Jade West has orchestrated a beautiful love story with a great deal of heart. There was just enough spice to go along with the sweet that I devoured every single page. Jodie is a strong heroine who takes care of her family, and Trent is loyal to his children and loves Jodie more than anything.
"I'd loved Jodie Symmonds when she'd forgotten how to love herself."
Overall, Bang Gang offers a complex plot with plenty of twists and turns along the way. I adored Jodie and Trent and the entire Banging Crew! This is my first Jade West book, and I look forward to reading more!

Title: Bang Gang
Author: Jade West
Category: Erotic Romance
Series or Standalone: Standalone
POV: Dual, First Person
Plot: 5+++++
Characters: 5+++++
Scorching Level: 5+++++
HEA: Not telling

Omg!!! Jade West has the best story ideas ever! Darren Trent, girls. Enough said. Are you ready for a hot, loyal and extremely dirty talking mechanic? Brace yourselves because this hero will make you swoon and he will leave you weak in the knees.
Darren Trent works hard to support his two kids and help in any way he can his ex-girlfriend. He spends most of his time in his garage with his tools and his oil.
Jodie Symmonds is a hard working mom; she is a woman who has let herself go for the sake of her two lovely daughters. She works long hours at the village's café and she is trying not to think that Darren Trent is no longer her own. Basically strangers after seven years of separation, the only thing that unites them is parenthood.
That is until Jodie listens to some village gossip. Seems like Darren is not only the local mechanic; his mates and himself have gotten involved in a seedy business that has all the village women begging for a booking. Their specialty? Your every desire.
Trent's latest deed will have Jodie reeling and fearing for her children's future. Facing judgment, gossip and prejudice, Jodie will come to rediscover herself all the while trying to protect her children's fragile hearts.
Can she ever have what other women have experienced at the hands of the Bang Gang team?
I always say this, but this book is my newest favorite from this author. Her writing draws you in and her excellent characters grip your heart!
This book is filled with amazing, true, honest, hard working people. They face real problems and I always find them extremely relatable and lovable.
Expect intense emotions that will make your heart burst, sensuality that will leave you salivating for more and emotional romance that will take deep roots in your heart.
Darren Trent is every woman's dream with a big heart that will certainly steal yours.
Jodie is a heroine that I think women will be able to identify with. She is kind, honest but has lost desires and dreams that have ended up in the back burner. In all of that though, she is a strong mother and earned my respect.
Be prepared for passion, love, lies and manipulation along with clever twists and turns. Be ready for intense chemistry that will captivate you.
I highly recommend this book if you like your romance with an extra bit of spice.

I would give it more if I could.

4* bang bang bang STARS!!

Jade West never ceased to amaze me with her creativity to create a new 'theme'. I've read almost all her books and definitely wouldn't miss this one. Menage is my absolute guilty pleasure but this time, it is involved with five cocks... err I mean five man. Sounds fun, right?

description

Jodie Symmonds is a single parent with two daughters. She was easily likable woman. She's independent and hard-working person even in crappy cafe. When she heard about her ex 'side-job', Jodie confront him. She didn't want it to affect her children, but it was too late. Jodie still divided the job to take care those two with her ex-boyfriend.

Darren Trent is a mechanic/workshop owner in a small town along with his four co-workers. News traveled fast about their BANG GANG service. He was kinda an asshole at first but a great father. He's very protective and didn't neglect his duty for the children. Moreover, Darren still connected to Jodie for the sake of their children. They were never think about going back together until Jodie decided to use his not-so-secret service. It wasn't easy for Darren.

Forced by her best friend, Jodie tried their service to regain her 'sex appeal' but she still wanted Darren. Let's talk about the sex. It didn't like what I've expected. The bang gang scene was quite rough and intense, but sadly it didn't excite me. The scene didn't bring the joy out of me. Kinda meh for those (supposedly)sexy mechanics. Another disappointment is Ugh... And the rest of sex scenes only happened between Jodie and Darren. IMO, it wasn't hot enough for me with a little foreplay and rushed into the action.
I felt like a slut, a filthy slut, but it felt so good I couldn’t fucking stop.

description

Surprisingly, there is no hard feelings between them after the gang bang scene, except for his jealous ex. Darren started to show his feelings but he bottled it up. Both Darren and Jodie clearly misunderstanding something and they refused to talk about it. They were young and stupid and in love, but now they're better than that. Mature people. Also there was another drama created by someone that they refused to be acknowledge. Stupid enough?

Well-written than before. I think the sex talk kinda overrated and it was like a porn star dialogue. Fuck harder... harder... *cricket* Overall, it was all about redemption and second-chance in love. Half about sex, half about feelings. They still have the chemistry to re-connect and finally together. I loved their family especially the children (who aren't annoying but cute). In the end, they deserved each other and happily ever after.

Stand-Alone
HEA:
Cheating:
Trigger:

I keep repeating my self after each book I read by Jade West but her books keep getting better and better. If there's one thing I know is that Jade never goes where she is expected. She always surprises me with her books and the theme she approached. Bang Gang has a catchy title for those who are looking for great booze but for those who will read it they will discover it's just the tip of the iceberg.

I truly think Jade should begin to sell her books for more than the hotness and sexual premises I know they have. She becomes an exceptional storyteller with characters and theirs real issues.

Bang Gang was the one book that felt more real than the others. What Jodie & Trent have to deal with are real life problems. Nowadays who doesn't have their parents separated and wish they were back together?

I had so many questions while reading; I had so many thoughts that I want all of you to experience the same. That's why I'm going to keep my focus on my feeling about both our MC more than their background of their story.

Jodie was most and foremost a mom to two wonderful girls. Over the years and after her break-up with Darren, she never really got time to take care of herself, not really wanted to either. But when she gets wind of his ex-extra curriculum activities, she decide it has to stop. And even more why can't she enjoy some of it too?

Darren is working hard with 4 of his friends at his own garage. Years ago all 5 of them decided to make extra-money selling their body for the right price. Darren has only one thought in mind: his girls' future.

Bang Gang took some emotional turns I didn't expected. Both Jodie and Darren are still very much in love to each other so why have they been separated for the last 7 years?

I was truly invested in their story; their love for their children has no bounds. Darren is an unapologetic man who doesn't know how to express himself. He's endearing and many times I wanted to show him the way.

I didn't give it a 5 star because at times both were frustrating and non-communication for one reason or another drives me crazy.

As always now, I'm waiting Jade's next book impatiently... maybe we'll have books about the others guys. I'm well interested in Buck & Jimmy O.

4 More is Fun stars

So this is my 3rd Jade West book, I basically read her books back to back, suffice it to say I’m on a Jade West binge.

Bang Gang is not as smutty as I thought it would be, but that’s a good thing. It had substance and I kid you not…

I ALMOST CRIED IN THIS BOOK! < --- I’m not even joking. Basically, when

I’m a SUCKER for single daddies. I will basically read anything that has kids in it.

Darren is a single daddy and he is making some extra money on the side. He’s doing this for his girls. Aww … sweet right. Other than the fact the Hero smokes a lot, I really liked Darren. He does anything for his girls and he’s a great dad.

The only fault, is that he has sex for money and it does it with four other guys. Yes, you can use our imagination on how that would work. If you don’t know, I’ll spell it out

Jodie is the baby mama. She’s like the typical mom, doesn’t wear make-up, walks around in baggy clothes and does everything for her kids. (It’s like looking in a mirror, I tell ya!). I really liked Jodie because it’s so realistic! You let yourself go after a baby and it’s years later she’s trying to get her groove back.

The thing is, Jodie and Darren have this crazy relationship. I love the tension between the two and I love the love they have for each other.

This could have easily been a five star read for me, but the last 20% drove me shit bonkers crazy. I was pulling my hair out because I wanted Jodie and Darren cool their shit.

Overall, it was a delightful read

Most people might be okay with the content of this book. I am not most people.

It's not for the reasons you might think. Well, not really. But I will admit this was all me.

I'm not a fan of couples who don't communicate well. I get that Trent was the strong, silent type, but so much could have been avoided had he and Jo uttered more than the need to talk to one another without ever saying anything, at least not until the end.

Also, they sort of get back together after not communicating except through sexual contact. I'm not a believer that sex cures all.

Add in the conniving bitch who is manipulating the situation, and I'm done.

Cheers to Jo for forgiving Trent after he had sex for money with people she knew. I might forgive sex with strangers (I said might), but to know that what seemed like half the town had known what my man could do in the bedroom would be enough for me to suggest moving, especially when the gossiping harpies would blabber it all over, so much that my impressionable young daughters would catch wind of it? No. Just no.

It seemed all so seedy and classless.

Side note: There were some British/Welsh colloquialisms that were beyond my knowledge as well that just kind of led me to a complete disconnect. I was out of my comfort zone all around.

I finished it because I just needed to, but there were times I almost gave up on it. Lesson learned. Questionable content from a blurb, even with an intriguing title, should be a no from now on.

OK, I admit it, I bought this book for the title and the cover. And the Gang Bang sex. Mainly the sex!

Oh, and how I do love an author who writes and bases her books in the Uk! Hence I shall be filling this review with the most British of GIFS!

I was so surprised by this book. I probably did not expect much given the title and cover, but it was so much emotional than I expected!

So Darren and Jodie had been together as teens, but had split up after 2 girls and several years together. When we reach them they have been apart 7 years.

And in that time Darren started up a Gang Bang side business...as you do!

And Jodie ends up hearing about it! And being intrigued....and deciding she wants the Gang Bang special! She is fed up of being just "Mum" or "Jodie from the cafe" and is finally ready to rediscover herself as a woman with desires, after the fog of the mom years.

Only, Darren has always loved Jodie and Jodie has always loved Darren.

So, yes, this book was hot hot hot..

But it was so much more than that! It was a story about two people so in love with each other, who both had broken hearts, but could not see a way back to each other, both thinking the other had moved on in one way or another.

Darren I just loved. He adored his girls and was just so damn sad to not have Jodie in his life how he thought he would always have her

The thought of walking out that front door again was more than I could bear. The thought of driving home to the flat without the girls, without Jodie, without Nanna. Alone. I was so alone.

I'd never felt grief like it, so close and yet so fucking far

And Jodie, so determined to find herself again and do something just for herself!

It was just so much more than I expected, as I was reading it I kept going back to re read parts as I was so drawn in!

Just shows, never judge a book by the cover! This was a wonderful, sad, at times funny, emotional story about rebuilding your love and your family.

Writing was good, but that's it. I hated the hero, and the heroine should have left him. Imagine living in a town where your ex, that you're still in love with, and who is 'supposedly' in love with you too, has most likely screwed all the women you know and have to see everyday, including your friends (in which he kept a secret from her) or she was constantly shoved in the face by all those women he screwed. Just because he cries and gets all emotional over the heroine and his kids every once in awhile, doesn't make him any less of a disgusting douche, especially because he's the reason they're hurting. Heroine deserves better, or she should have at least gotten some more sex with the other guys out of it where the hero is forced to watch, because he has no right to feel possessive. This entire book is just the heroine having to suffer because the hero is a hoe, and no real hero should or would ever do all those things he did to her. He should be the one suffering or groveling, which he never did imo🤷

Self note: it's a matter of taste. Different folks different strokes. I think there's nothing remotely sexy, romantic or erotic about group sex. 5 men and 1 woman. This sounds more like a bad low grade porn that I'd rather watch than pick up a book when the MCs were divorced, had 2 girls and are involved in this porn fest. Sorry, I can't imagine being a parent doing this specially with the chance maybe in the future my daughters would find out about it and maybe do that too and I won't be able to say a single word. Jus sit and accept. And the fact the other 4 guys are the hero's employees and they would be around each other. Gross. One would have to be super ultra open minded here. Specially with kids involved. Am I being judgmental? Yes. Maybe. Do I care! N. O. P. E.
This isn't romance, much less a 2nd chance. I can suspend belief reading romance fiction, but this is just disgusting. Maybe if they didn't have 2 daughters it wouldn't sound so disgusting.

This was totally unexpected and so freaking good. I've read West's Dirty series and enjoyed most of them but Bang Gang was right up my alley. It's actually my favorite of hers so far. West is known for her dirty and hardcore erotica so she definitely surprised me with her soft side here. Yes, there's sex in Bang Gang but not too much and it's not over the top. I actually felt I was reading a romance and I liked that.

Jodie and Darren were two amazing parents who loved their two girls. Even though they weren't together they had a great relationship and worked on it because of their daughters.
Jodie was a mother first and foremost. Making that her priority and forgot to take the time to pamper herself. Thanks to her best friend Tonya she finally found the old Jodie, the one she was when she was with Darren seven years prior.
Darren was amazing. I have a soft spot for hot dads who love their kids unconditionally and that's exactly what Darren was. His love for his two girls, Ruby and Mia was heartwarming and beautiful. What he wouldn't do for them! Of course he had a little side business as a gigolo with his mechanic friends and when his ex Jodie wanted in on some action emotions were definitely boiling and sizzling. The scenes were hot but I was more into the scenes with Jodie and Darren. Their hidden lust and feelings were crazy and smoldering hot. I really enjoyed how they rekindled their old love and their passion. It definitely got dirty and Jodie got to experience some new moves from Darren.

Although some of the story was a little predictable it didn't ruin my experience mainly because I was really invested in these characters. The writing and the pace of the story were spot on. I got to experience a different side to Jade West with Bang Gang. A softer side and it really suits her.

2 stars - It was OK but not my cup of tea

I'm in the minority here once again, as all my GR friends who read this were super enthusiastic about it. I'm not.

Where do I begin? Well I wanted a dirty story and the title was pretty suggestive, right?
I should have leaned by now that I should read carefully the blurbs and other reviews. Even if all my friends loved it, at least I would have known what to expect. I kind of dived in this clueless and then I got disappointed because I expected so much more. It's true I've read almost only MM books these past years, but once in a while I enjoy some MF stories. This one was not the case.

I had a huge problem with the miscommunication here. SO much could have been avoided if Darren Trent and Jodie just talked and shared their fears and worries.

They were high school sweethearts and they became parents way too early. They fell apart and after years and years they got back together and how do you think this happened? Well Jo wanted to be adventurous again and experience what all the other women in the small town she lived in did: a hot night with her ex and his mechanics - The Bang Gang. Ugh! You can imagine how much I rolled my eyes.

I wanted to give up at times because I felt nothing really happened, well nothing besides a lot of sex scenes with a lot of unimportant characters and then A LOT of unnecessary angst.

This story didn't surprise me at all and I guessed from the start who was the two-faces snake.

Oh and what really made me want to scream would be how Darren accepted Jo's wish to have a taste of the magic Bang Gang. That was more than I could handle. I mean, he said he still loved her BUT didn't try to win her back...

I love dirty talking in books, I love bad boys and I love good written hot scenes, BUT this book did nothing for me. It was not my cup of tea. Like at all.

March was such an awesome reading month. I read 24 books and 12 of them were 5 star reads. Bang Gang is a star among stars. My absolute favorite read of the month.

To think this book has sat in my tbr for almost a year. *shakes head sadly* Don't make my mistake, if this is in your tbr, read it now. If it's not in your tbr, let me tell you a little bit about it.

This is a story about two young people who had to grow up really fast. Two young people who were not equipped, emotionally, to ride out the bumpy ride that is life starting out. Two really good people. Hearts of gold, both. But insecure and doing the best they can with the circumstances.

They are so down-to-earth. So incredibly good, but real. No affectations, no fakey, high-brow, I'm perfect, scenarios. These two were unsure of themselves. Full of self-doubt but strong enough to forge forwards with a smile on their faces for the world to see.

I am in love with the characters in this book!

They made me cry.

I don't cry, people. I hate books that make me cry and refuse to read them.

I loved this book!

It's racy and even raunchy. There are several hot and steamy, graphic sex scenes. But it's also full of emotion. A beautiful 2nd chance romance.

ALL the stars.
ALL
OF
THEM!

This was AMAZEBALLS!

Dear Amazon & Goodreads:
There aren't enough stars to give for this one.

Jade West gives me the feels. All of them. Love, lust, tears, laughter. Her books are filthy FILTHY f-i-l-t-h-y dirty but deliciously so. And she doesn't skimp on plot. She has never disappointed me so far and I've read all but one of her books. Off I go to read the one I forgot I hadn't read yet.

ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

Jodie Symmonds is mom before anything else, wrangling her two daughters, dealing with her ex, and only taking a bit of time to herself on Mondays. She's done fine ignoring all the gossip, but when Darren Trent is mentioned, and as more than just her baby daddy, she pays attention. She can ignore his bad habits, his drinking and fighting, but hearing about his set of friends offering gang bangs at a cost, she can't ignore it. Of course, she's not thinking about them doing it to her, not at all, she's thinking off her children and the gossip that it could come from. Given the opportunity to give it a try, Jodie takes it, it's an opportunity to be her old wild self again, but she couldn't have predicted the feelings it would unearth.
Darren Trent takes their money and everything they offer, he's got a good reason for doing it, but he wasn't counting on his ex-girl to want a go too. He gives her what she wants, but not without feeling a sense of possessiveness over the woman who hadn't been his "missus" in years. As their lives start to mix together again, neither can ignore the fact that they were never really over. Gigolo services aren't relationship friendly though and not all of their friends have their happiness in mind.

It was such a beautiful fuck. Deep and angry and full of sorrow.

I admit, I judged this book on the cover, but I liked the synopsis too much to not give it a chance. Turns out, it's a whole lot of book, definitely lots of steamy hot smut, but also filled with a story you won't be able to put down. My trepidation to open it up quickly turned into me ignoring absolutely everything around me, because I had to know what happened next. Jade West, always a master of character writing, brings us two individuals who aren't really living for themselves, both hiding away from their true feelings. I adored Jodie and how willing she was to give anything a chance, just to find herself again. Reading from her POV was like listening to any of your girlfriends who are tired of being just mom, who felt like they put themselves on the back burner. Darren, on the other hand, is a riot. I wasn't sure I was going to like him, especially not 30% into the book, but he grew on me and I ended up rooting for him. The kids, oh man, the girls are such unique secondary characters and they bring the family aspect of the story together. I really liked Ruby, she's a riot, but Mia's involvement as the oldest child allows the reader to understand how the relationship was previously and how it works out with Darren and Jodie separated. Like all Jade West novels, every character, every moment, played an important role in how the story tied together. It's hard to imagine a book with gang bangs and family values, but it works due to the amount of background story and character involvement.

I’d always been with her, even when she couldn’t see it. Even when she didn’t believe it.

I love a good dirty book, absolutely, but it was hard to come to terms with the small town vibe with the kind of hooking up occurring. I had to remove myself from seeing it as a regular onlooker and just take it at a fantasy level. The smut scenes were all sorts of hot, but it even made me feel wary, like Jodie did, when their relationship started to progress. In the end, the story outweighed the bad for me and I am so glad I kept reading.

I felt like a slut, a filthy slut, but it felt so good I couldn't fucking stop.

Bang Gang is another release from Jade West with her special brand of erotic romance. The story is funny, happy, sad, and over the top at times, but a very enjoyable read all the same. If you love a strong female character, an alpha male willing to admit his faults, and a fresh romance, this is the book to read.

Wow I floved this one.

This felt grounded, real and a poignant story of childhood sweethearts who'd grown apart as they grew up, but who both still held lots of affection for one another.

And I cannot lie, the smut was primal and intense and...ok. #onehandedread

This is one of my favourite reads of this year and definitely my new fave Jade West. Loved it.

Standalone, available on ku. Highly recommended.

5 totally more than expected stars!

When this book was recommended to me I assumed from the name and cover, that it would be a taboo and smutty read. While there were definitely a few of those moments this story went so far beyond that! It was emotional, heart-warming, and even funny at moments.

Jade West gave us a beautifully written second chance romance that had so many real moments that balanced out any that felt OTT. I don't think I can mention enough how real the banter felt, how real the relationships felt, and how real some of the situations felt.

Jodie is a single mom to two girls, who lives with her nanna, works at a coffee shop, and feels like she lost a bit of herself when she became Mom. She is co-parenting with her ex, and going through the motions of a mom in her small town. A small town that is quick to gossip. When she hears the latest gossip about her ex, she doesn't know whether to be angry or turned on. Maybe she's a bit of both?

Darren Trent is a mechanic by day and gigolo by... well by any time actually. He and his four co-workers run a service called the Bang Gang. He may have a slightly seedy job, but he's doing it for all the right reasons. His two daughters, Mia and Ruby! He's a man who enjoys his work, but once he has a chance back at a life with his ex and children will he still be able to keep up with the bang gang?

The main MC's go through plenty of emotional things together, but there is also plenty of naughty happening. There is sex with other partners, but it didn't bother me by any means. It felt true to the story.

The side characters were also amazing. Is it possible to have a story for every member of the bang gang AND then also Mia and Ruby? I swear I loved those girls like they were my own children!!

All in all a REALLY great read! Obviously I don't want to ruin anything, so I'll wrap this up. READ THIS BOOK!!

Bang Gang is the first book I've read by Jade West.

The premise of the book intrigued me. It's the first book I've read with three or more partners and I wasn't sure how I would like it. It definitely wasn't a safe book for my friends who look for safe. It was, however, a second chance HEA as the underlying theme.

I immediately loved the primary characters. Darren Trent and Jodie Symmonds were perfect for each other. Gorgeous, sexy, mature, experienced, sassy and more. They had a forever love that got lost in the forever.

Darren and his band of mechanics took advantage of the opportunity to make money through consensual sex. It had a Magic Mike vibe. Although explicit, there were only a couple sex scenes, and the main plot of the storyline centered around the healing and rebuilding of Darren and Jodie's relationship.

It was an interesting and entertaining read. It was well written and fairly well developed. With the forces working against them, it was also multi-dimensional. I'm a sucker for second chances and I was pulling for Darren and Jodie from the start.

Drama and tears!

Lots of drama, lots of dirty sex, a great storyline and of course a happily ever after with an even newer addition to the family.
