What follows is a is a whirlwind affair, spanning the globe and filled with steam, laughter, angst and romance.

Playboy Pilot is PHENOMENAL! One word is all it takes to describe this book and THAT IS IT!
Each and every time I pick up a book by Penelope or Vi I get swept away on a “Magical Mystery Tour”. But when those two “Come Together” something EPIC happens.. “In My Life” I've read all of Vi and Penelope's published books apart and together. They are both some of my ULTIMATE fave authors and I honestly don't think there is a better author duo out there. In fact I know there isn't. Penelope and Vi gel like no other, their books are smooth, their stories memorable. Playboy Pilot was ALL THE THINGS I wanted and MORE.
So let's “Get Back” to the start shall we? Because what a start it was. I mean who doesn't love a cocky, sexy, intense man and a spunky, sassy woman to really get under his skin? “Every Little Thing” about Carter and Kendall is amazing. “I'm In LOVE” with them and all they are!
If it's possible to ever die from swooning I SWEAR I'd be a goner right now. “Do You Want To Know A Secret”? Carter Clynes has “All My Loving.” “I Should Have Known Better” than to think Vi and Penelope wouldn't write a super delicious man but in all honesty I wondered how they write one better than Graham? And while they are both so different, we all have our faves and Carter is now MY FAVE!
Kendall Sparks is an AMAZING female lead “And I Love Her.” Her change and development through Playboy Pilot was an adventure in itself that was written so perfectly I couldn't help not loving her.
So many times during this book I was “Flying” feeling “Free As A Bird” as I rode out the total utter bliss of all things Playboy Pilot. And I “Dig It”, I totally love that feeling of butterflies, that stir up anticipation as the build up starts. I love that heart pounding feeling of sitting back and letting the words flow through you as you watch characters you're fully invested in fall in love. I also love those little moments, the ones that PACK ALL THE FEELS. You know the ones that hit you right in the gut? It can be something as simple as a ridiculously swoony sentence or something that pulls the world from right under your feet. Playboy Pilot has it all! If you're like me, you'll devour it. Because there is NO OTHER OPTION when you pick up this book. If you're like me, you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll swoon, you'll burn up and you'll LOVE!
So “You Know What To Do” BUY THIS BOOK! Because “All You Need Is Love” a Playboy Pilot kinda love. Carter Clynes “You've Really Got A Hold On Me.”

4 Stars!!
These two authors have done it again! Once again they delivered a sweet, sexy, entertaining story that sucked me in from the very beginning. From start to finish this story was pure and simple awesome and while it was more emotional than I had expected I enjoyed very much. 'Playboy Pilot' was really a well written, delightful read and it made me smile, swoon and laugh the entire time.
Kendall Sparks is a 24 years old whose life got recently very complicated. She needs to make some important decisions and also to decide what she wants to do with her life, so she needs to escape from her real life, at least for a while. She decides to take a trip, but the problem is she doesn’t have any destination in mind. In the Miami airport lounge when tries to where she wants to go, she is approached by a mysterious, playful, hot as hell man.
The stranger intrigues like no other especially since he comes with a crazy idea – to get on a plane to Brazil. She is astounded when she finds out the stranger in the airport is actually a pilot, the pilot who flew her plane to Brazil, but she’s also intrigued. Captain Carter Clynes is definitely a playboy. He sleeps around a lot, not looking to settle down any time soon, but from the moment he meets Kendall he knows she’s different from any other women he met before and all he wants is to spend more time with her.
Everything changes between Kendall and Carter when in Brazil they end up staying together. They get to know each better, their connection growing with every single one of their encounters. When their mini-vacation ends, neither of them is ready to return to “reality” both agreeing for them to continue traveling together. Neither of them expects their little adventure to become something unique and wonderful, neither of them expects to be so drawn to the other and neither of them expects to fall in love in such a short time.
Like the other books I’ve read by these two authors, 'Playboy Pilot' was wonderfully written in a very gripping way. I honestly read this one in one sitting and enjoyed every minute of it. While Kendall and Carter’s story wasn’t as funny and/or light like I had expected, it was very entertaining, mainly because the two main characters were so endearing and vividly portrayed. The story was interesting, with an enjoyable well done plot and some twists I didn’t see coming. I can’t say I enjoyed all of them, but for the most part I liked how the story progressed.
I liked the two main characters a lot. Both of them were fantastically developed, relatable in some way or another and overall I really liked them. Carter was so much more than I had expected. To be honest I expected for him to be a cocky bastard. I’m not saying he wasn’t…he was, but in a very endearing way. Tall, dark and handsome, Carter won me over from the start. The man was so very charming and intriguing. I absolutely loved his playful, adventurous side, how confident he was at times and most of all, how sweet, caring and thoughtful he was with our heroine. The man had also such a big heart. His character really amazed me and I admit - I fell fast and hard for him, but I regret nothing. He totally blew me away!
Kendall and Carter were wonderful together. Their chemistry was off the charts and so palpable from the very beginning. I loved these two together, how sweet, fun, carefree and sexy they were as the story unfolded. The romantic aspect was really great done and I’m sure many readers will fall for these this couple. I really enjoyed how the relationship between these two unfolded. Everything felt natural between them, right and I loved how honest they were with each other.
All in all, 'Playboy Pilot' was another great read by these two authors. If you are looking for a sweet and sexy read, look no further and pick this one up.

I just love these two authors! I have yet to be disappointed in a book that they've co-authored. While this wasn't my favorite of the books they've written together, I thought it was great nonetheless.
Kendall is taking a break from her life when she meets Carter. She needs a little space to clear her head. A wealthy trust fund baby, she is forced to choose between her lavish lifestyle and her principles. Her grandfather has placed some extreme conditions on her trust fund, which must be met by her twenty-fifth birthday or she forfeits the wealth.
Carter is an airline pilot that has spent years hiding from his heartache in the vaginas of flight attendants across the globe. He's a legend of sorts in the airline community. He's a manwhore.
When the two meet, sparks fly. They're drawn to each other and quickly strike up a friendship. For the first time in a long time, Carter actually has to put some effort into a relationship with a female.
Kendall doesn't cave in to her physical attraction to Carter easily. So, there was plenty of build-up and anticipation. I really enjoyed the tension and the slow-burn as these two got to know each other.
There was plenty of twists and turns along the way also. I can't say that there was anything shocking or unexpected, but just enough action to keep things interesting. Characters from past books also make a cameo appearance, which was terrific. I, for one, will never get enough of my favorite fictional goat!
Overall, I thought this was a great story. It was sweet and relatively quick at around seven hours for the audiobook. It was a good way to pass a little time.

My whole life had been a series of following down paths that someone had set me on. It was time I picked my own path, no matter which it was.
Get ready to be taken on a romantic journey to some of the most exotic locations around the world. Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland have yet again created a mesmerizing story that captivated this reader and also left me a bit sleep-deprived. Ward and Keeland are the PERFECT writing collaboration. It is impossible for these two to write anything that is less than a five star read for me!! Ladies, you are going to fall head over heels in love with Captain Carter Clynes!!!
Kendall Sparks is a young woman at a crossroads in her life. Sitting in an airport lounge, Kendall is trying to pick a destination to escape to in order to avoid making a life altering decision that is being forced upon her by her family. She runs into one seriously gorgeous and cocky man and the two engage in some flirtatious and hilarious banter. Carter comes off as quite the ladies man and Kendall’s defenses are up but after their encounter she finds herself buying a ticket to Rio, which is where Carter suggested she go to since that was his destination. Later she’ll find out that Carter is the pilot of that flight and soon these two will embark on a whirlwind adventure filled with a lot of laughs, soul searching, some tears, and some delectable steam!!!
As the two spend more time together they get to know the real person behind the façade that they’ve put up for almost everyone else. There’s more to Carter than just being the ultimate player and Kendall isn’t the spoiled socialite that everyone presumes her to be.
As the layers are peeled away, I dare you not to fall head over heels in love with Carter. It was simply IMPOSSIBLE for me not to go all swoony for him. I loved that the authors didn’t make him out to be the stereotypical Ladies’ Man. My heart ached for him once the angst got underway and I even stayed up well beyond my bedtime to get to the very last page!!
PLAYBOY PILOT had an enjoyable plot, plenty of steam, a top of the charts book boyfriend, and enough angst to satisfy all of my requirements to categorize this as a truly STELLAR read!!

I read this book in one sitting and absolutely ADORED it!! It was exactly what I was looking for: SWEET, SEXY, HEART-WARMING, ROMANTIC, ADDITIVE, and SWOOOOOONY!!! Oh my gosh, I loved the story so much!! From the moment I started reading, I was hooked. My heart raced and I couldn’t stop smiling! If you’re looking for something really fantastic to read and you love reading romance, then this is definitely the book you should try next. Carter will STEAL YOUR HEART!! I can’t recommend this book highly enough. A new TOP FAVORITE!
Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland are each fantastic authors in their own rights and when they team up to write together, they produce pure gold!! Their writing is addictive and their stories grab your heart while being sexy-as-hell giving the ultimate romance reading experience! I love their books and eagerly away each new release!
This particular story starts out with our heroine sitting in an airport at a crossroads in her life with a big decision to make that'll change a lot of things for her. With no destination in mind, she's surprised when a sexy and mysterious stranger basically walks up and boldly offers his opinion on which country to visit (after spilling a drink on her lol)...
They spark, but immediately have to go in separate directions and despite the craziness of their encounter, she throws caution to the win and takes his advice, only to discover that he is in fact the pilot on her flight!
After they land, this cocky, charming, unabashed, and oddly sweet guy sweeps her away on an amazing tour of Rio. With a looming deadline of only two days until he has to fly out again, they know their time together is limited. But when their time comes to an end, neither of them are willing to let the other go and so begins their spontaneous and sexy globe-trotting romance...
I absolutely loved Carter. LOVE LOVE LOVED him!!! His upfront and honest, no secrets, no bullshit approach to life was so refreshing. He wasn't trying to hide anything, he certainly wasn't trying apologize for his past, but at the same time, being around her brought out a side of him he'd long pushed away and he wanted to be 'more' for her. Everywhere they went, they were confronted with women he'd had relations with in the past which he didn't try to hide from Kendall but at the same time he never gave her any reason to doubt his loyalty to her. He was devoted and I genuinely just loved the way he approached his relationship with her. He took responsibility for his past, but actively tried to make a better future.
Actually spinning off of that, I also loved the way they kind of both just opened up about their deepest secrets and fears to each other. So often in books, tension is wrought from secrets or lack of communication and it was just genuinely nice to see the opposite of that here. It made me respect the characters.
On a lighter note, this book is HOT HOT HOTTTTTT and will have you fanning yourself and blushing throughout the read! Not to mention that they had great banter and so many scenes had me smiling for pages on end!
Towards the end comes an inevitable twist that made my heart sink but the ending was just so SWEET and full of heart that it brought real happy tears to my eyes. Playboy past or not this pilot was the real hearts and flowers deal.
I can't recommend this book highly enough.
Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland outdid themselves with it!

As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation.
Then, he left.

When I saw the hero was a pilot, I decided I had to read this book. You see, I have a thing for pilots. And airports. And duty free shops with rows and rows of perfumes and assortments of chocolate. And traveling in general.
As long as I don’t have to board an actual plane. When that does happen (after a drinkor two three four), my composed and carefree self transforms into my ugly and pathetic self:
Anyway, I enjoyed this sweet and sexy romance but something was missing and I’m not sure what. I just didn’t feel the spark. It didn’t knock me off my feet. I couldn’t completely connect to the characters. I did like the hero, he was just a little bit too sweet for my liking; I prefer the darker types. I was a little bit bored around the middle of the book and the ending felt too rushed.
But overall it was fun.

3.5 stars. The story was really working for me for a good while. Even though Carter was very obviously a man whore, I commend him for letting this thing with Kendall play out. Kendall had a decision to make, and who she was at the time had a lot of influence in why this was so big and important for her. This story is by no means a fast burn. Even with an obvious attraction, these two take it pretty slow. I like that they were digging deeper than the surface. This allowed for Kendall, and us as readers, to really see a side of Carter that went deeper than first impression would lead us to believe. Their moments in Florida were my absolute favorite. Everything was picture perfect for falling in love. When they finally get together they are absolutely and combustibly hot. After quite a few bumps, they deserved their happy and I thought for sure the ending wouldn't be as messy. I don't know what made me have that expectation... but I did. That's when it really changed for me. There's an element in the main conflict of the story that felt SO unnecessary to me. A sliver of a pesky little thing called communications could have prevented it and more so if what they were feeling was real it would've been resolved a hell of a lot sooner than it did. This annoyed me to no end. ugh. Other than that, an enjoyable read. Safety: No OW/OM/Sharing while they are together but the H has quite the history with the flight attendants. There is a separation. They don't see other people but the H almost does something with an OW. He stops himself. No rape or abuse.

➦So... Mr. York didn't disappoint. I loved his narration of Carter's part.
➦As you can probably derive from the title of this book Carter is a pilot. He sticks his dick into any willing co-worker. Yep, it's one of those manwhore reformed stories. But you know what, it was done well and it was pretty enjoyable and most definitely hawt.
➦Kendall, our heroine is looking to escape her problems for a while. She meets Carter at an airport bar and after a rather funny exchange he suggests for her to buy a ticket to Rio. He doesn't tell her that he is a pilot on that particular flight. So imagine her surprise when she hears his voice over the plane intercom. And imagine his surprise when he sees her at the airport in Rio. So what happens next?
➦Carter is hot, arrogant and a pervy in all the good ways. Just how I like'm. lol I loved how hard these two tried to keep their paws off each other and the anticipation was killing me. Plus York describing all the dirty ways Carter pleasured himself while thinking of Kendall sure didn't hurt.
➦The part when the shit hit the fan was a bit too drama llama for me but it didn't really bother me that much here. Overall, I enjoyed the book and I didn't feel like throwing it out the window. Always a plus :D I might have drooled a bit too.

2,5 really...
That was kind of a bit shock to me... I just couldn’t believe my eyes, I couldn’t believe what I was reading. What started as a hot, sweet, fun and light romance book, which I quite liked, turned into a bunch of ridiculous soap opera events in the second half...
There were so many clichés and absurdities that I found myself laughing my as* off instead of crying at events where I was supposed to cry or feel some kind of humane emotion, I guess. No, I was just laughing, feeling as if I was watching an old sappy soap opera...
So, because I cannot do in any other way, my criticisms will be full of spoilers. So, you choose. Either read the book and laugh at the absurdities, or read my short summary and laugh at it here with less torture. I have tortured myself enough for all of us here....
Now, there is this amazing gorgeous man-whore pilot, Carter, who falls in love with our stupid stupid heroine Kendall, who looks like a young Michelle Pfeiffer. A rare beauty, but she doesn’t deserve him at all!!!! I wanted to strangle her, I wanted to slap her with my Kindle, but in principle, I am against violence so I wanted to find Carter some girl who deserves him better but the idiot ended up with her anyways. So, love is blind, whatever!
Theirs is lust at first sight and then a soulmate kind of love because they open up to each other very quickly and tell their life secrets to each other... Quick bonding, you can say... And then, first base, second base, home run, etc...
Of course, because he was a playboy pilot, there was some insecurity and jealousy at the beginning but later they got over this and fell in love completely.
There is a very "happy time" in the middle of the novel so you expect a plot twist any minute...
First of all, there was a stupid decision she had to make about her inheritance and when she made up her mind and got on a plane to go to Carter to tell him the good news...whoops, what, oh
Maybe Maria didn't have a crystal ball but imagine something like that :) Lol.
And later in the novel
The coincidences and clichés were off the charts. While she was looking for answers, her seeing a baby commercial with the brand name “Carter’s” (which makes her think that Carter is the one for her!) was my favorite although where they get married and how they get rich are also close candidates, you should definitely read these parts for a good laugh :)
And the jokes were awful, IMO. For example, this wasn't funny at all if you ask me - maybe it could have been if 6-year old children said it, though ...
We both looked up at the sky in unison. A banner with a message was trailing the small aircraft. Carter huffed, “Fuck! Assholes ruined it. The banner was supposed to say, The Answer is in the Sky: Kendall loves Carter . I knew that guy didn’t understand me!” Instead it read: The Answer is in Disguise: Ken Doll Loves Farting.
And don’t let me start the insanity of the tale Carter tells to his little son in the Epilogue, which is about “Lucy in the sky”, pfffft, what the hell? Why tell a tale about your ex-girlfriend who committed suicide???
Sorry but after Cocky Bastard and Stuck-up Suit, I didn’t hesitate a minute to start this book, seeing it was by the same writers and thinking this will also be as amazing as them but alas, this is what I got!!! Some sappy soap opera material... Very disappointed :(
What was good?
1. Well, Carter was yummy and the Amsterdam trip was good, the red light hotel, the play along etc... Very hot and creative... Florida trip was sweet... I wish the book could have continued as sweet and sane from then on...
2. My darling Chase from "Cocky Bastard" reappeared with the goat :)
3. Despite the ridiculous and WTF moments, there were also moments of wise advice, wisdom etc such as:
“Every spectator who watches an event is watching it because they want to be the player. But they either don’t have the talent or the balls.”

“Sometimes the things we hold onto the tightest are the things we most need to set free.”

"Half of the people in the world will tell you to follow your head, half will tell you to follow your heart. My advice, follow the one that isn’t confused. The stronger one will eventually convince the other to fall in line.”
4. And what happened in Dubai!!! Umm, thanks to this book, I will never go to Dubai, married or single, no way!
Is it really that bad, I wonder? But I won't risk it at all..

4.75 'When I'm Sixty-Four' Stars!
These two women together.. seriously. Seriously AMAZING. Once again, they have written an outstanding work that will not leave you indifferent! I am always waiting impatiently for these authors releases because even though I love them separately, together they are explosive. And.. can we just stop for a moment an say they know how to choose super-hot models for covers? YUM!
Playboy Pilot is the third novel co-written by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland. As you may know, it belongs to a series of standalones but I highly recommend reading the other too books because SO GOOD!
Now, this story is about Kendall Sparks a.k.a Perky (a heiress that wants to stop thinking about her situation for a few days but she does not know how this "vacation" will change everything forever) and Carter C. Clynes (the sexy stranger Kendall meets in the airport who happens to be the pilot of her flight and who will become so much more for her).
“My layover just got more interesting.” [...] “How was your flight, Perky? Did you enjoy the ride I gave you?”
My whole life had been a series of following down paths that someone had set me on. It was time I picked my own path, no matter which it was.
What a ride these two gave us, especially Carter! ;) I loved this book, I love these two fantastic authors that are able to gave us all the feels and emotions possible. Ward and Keeland's writing is simply outstanding, I love how their stories flow and how they develop the relationships between their characters. I have to say though, I really loved Carter, but when I started reading this I knew it would be pretty difficult to made me love him more than I love my Stuck-Up Suit!
“We’re both fucked up. Maybe that’s what it is. Maybe we see a little of ourselves in each other. We’re two wrongs that somehow make a right. Inseparable we’re miserable, but together…we somehow work.”
“Carter? What are you doing?”
“Praying?”
“Do you always breathe like that when you’re praying?”
“It’s an intense prayer.”
I really love how these two authors build their love stories: how we meet the characters, how they feel about each other and how they act on those feelings. Carter and Kendall are beautiful together, incredibly funny, so emotional and oh-my-god SO HOT. Of course, as always with these women's books, my favorite aspect about Playboy Pilot is (Carter! lol) the love relationship and how it's developed. I love how they give us lovely and sexy moments and how they always surprise us!
“Come fly with me, beautiful.”
Sinking into her was euphoria. Her tight pussy stretched for me with every inch deeper that I moved inside of her. Unable to resist, I fucked her hard at a desperate pace. It was the rawest, most spontaneous sex I’d ever experienced.
Yes, this book is definitely smokin' hot. Mix this with some angst, some drama and fabulous storytelling and boom! You got Playboy Pilot. As always, everything came to a beautiful (and super-adorable!) conclusion at the end and I am just so excited to see what is coming next!

Therefore, my rating for Playboy Pilot is 4.75 (I know.. lol) because Penelope and Vi have done it again and they have given us another magnificent love story with a wonderfully complex couple and full of all types of moments. Still, I have to say my favorite still is Stuck-Up Suit but this was just as entertaining! What a ride these two gave us, especially Carter! ;) I loved this book, I love these two fantastic authors that are able to gave us all the feels and emotions possible. Ward and Keeland's writing is simply outstanding, I love how their stories flow and how they develop the relationships between their characters. I have to say though, I really loved Carter, but when I started reading this I knew it would be pretty difficult to made me love him more than I love my Stuck-Up Suit!

I really love how these two authors build their love stories: how we meet the characters, how they feel about each other and how they act on those feelings. Carter and Kendall are beautiful together, incredibly funny, so emotional and oh-my-god SO HOT. Of course, as always with these women's books, my favorite aspect about Playboy Pilot is (Carter! lol) the love relationship and how it's developed. I love how they give us lovely and sexy moments and how they always surprise us!

Sinking into her was euphoria. Her tight pussy stretched for me with every inch deeper that I moved inside of her. Unable to resist, I fucked her hard at a desperate pace. It was the rawest, most spontaneous sex I’d ever experienced.
Yes, this book is definitely smokin' hot. Mix this with some angst, some drama and fabulous storytelling and boom! You got Playboy Pilot. As always, everything came to a beautiful (and super-adorable!) conclusion at the end and I am just so excited to see what is coming next!

Therefore, my rating for Playboy Pilot is 4.75 (I know.. lol) because Penelope and Vi have done it again and they have given us another magnificent love story with a wonderfully complex couple and full of all types of moments. Still, I have to say my favorite still is Stuck-Up Suit but this was just as entertaining! So, if you haven't check this out or these authors other collabs togehter, please do it, I totally recommend it :)

And this, my friend, is the reason why I love New Adult. I couldn't believe I didn't read this book sooner. It was one of the best books written by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland.
I actually think a book hangover will come after this.
Playboy Pilot begins when Kendall Sparks ran away from her home for a while to do some soul searching. She didn't know where she was going but she planned to go to other countries to look for some answers. At the airport, she met a hot, gorgeous stranger named Carter Clynes whom she immediately had a connection with after a few minutes of chatting. When Carter knew that she has no idea where she will be heading, he invited her to go with him to Brazil, but she didn't say yes because she was still confused. It was when Carter left that she decided that she might actually want to go to Brazil, so she ended up buying a ticket to Rio de Janeiro. At the plane, she was shocked to find out that the pilot who's flying the one that she's riding is none other than Carter! When they landed in Rio de Janeiro, they saw each other again and the rest is up to you guys to read and find out. lol
This book took me by surprise. It has pretty much all the elements that I want in a New Adult book. It definitely has the angst, amazing romance, good plot, emotional depth, and a surprising twist. The writing was also stunning which didn't surprise me at all since both authors are really good at this.
I also loved the character development of Carter and Kendall. Both are strong, passionate, and willing to redeem themselves. Carter is also the type of male lead that for me, is perfect despite being a womanizer in the past. The way he treated Kendall was so sweet. I actually thought he would be a jerk here but I was amazed to find out that he's a man with such good traits. Honestly, how can you resist a guy who has a heart for elderly people? Ughhhh.
One of the best things that I also loved about this book was the roadtrip romance concept which was really done perfectly. I was in awe of the beautiful places that the characters explored and experienced.
Can I just say that this book is perfect? Carter and Kendall's story had me swimming in my emotions. It's difficult to move on since the story is still lingering on my mind right now. SEND HELP! I can't recommend this book enough. Just. The best!

I'm still crying over the fact that I saw not one hot pilot on my multiple airport experiences this past week and I blame this book. These authors gave me false hope that my pilots would be gorgeous playboy's that would whisk me away to an amazing location and have their way with me. Did it happen? Nope! All I saw were old bald pilots that did not live up to my Carter expectations.
I really enjoyed this story and the unique plot that these authors came up with. I can honestly say I haven't read another book like this and I loved that Playboy Pilot was so far out of the norm. From the reason Kendall was running away to the adventured she and Carter took, I was completely enthralled with them. Nothing was like I thought it would be and I liked that this story could surprise me.
Overall, this was a gripping tale of two people trying to find themselves while also discovering each other. I highly recommend this book but don't get your hopes up that there's a hot pilot waiting for you in an airport. Trust me, it only leads to heartbreak.

Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland have done it again with their third collaboration “Playboy Pilot.” On their own they are amazing authors and I love all of their individual work, but together they are certainly a force to be reckoned with. They are definitely two of my all-time favourite authors and they never cease to amaze me. This book was a highly anticipated read for me and was looking forward to the release for months. Let me tell you the wait was well worth it.
Kendall Sparks is about to make a life altering decision. One she can’t take back. Money or love? Which would you choose? Kendall is staring at the preverbal fork in the road. We meet her while at an airport bar perusing travel brochures and maps having no idea where she is heading; all she knows is she needs some time away to think things through and to make some major decisions.
Whilst in the bar, Kendall meets a beautiful stranger, Chase. In an instant Kendall and Chase develop a profound connection. So much so that she follows him on this whirlwind adventure around the world.

There is absolutely nothing not to love about Carter. He’s open, honest and doesn’t try to make excuses for his past indiscretions. He lives life to the fullest and is a massive Beatles fan. Kendall brings out the best in him and he wants to be a better man for her and is completely devoted and loyal to her. Be prepared to fall madly in love with him.

“Playboy Pilot” was the ultimate romance story for me. It was filled with witty banter, emotion, high intense chemistry and passion. These two characters were so perfect for each other and they came along when they needed each other the most. I would most definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves the ultimate romance story with unforgettable characters.

She finds herself at the airport searching for places she could go and escape; however what she didn't realize was that she will find someone that was going to show her the ride of her life "literally" *sigh*.
Carter C. Clynes, twenty nine; HOT pilot with the most beautiful hazel eyes and the most playboy in his airline was just living life screwing all the woman in each town he landed and every flight attendant except for the lesbian one of course (LOL). Anyway; he found this way of living as an escape to reality; he hide in the air and with sex. He had a trauma in the past with love that he couldn't move on from. However; he meets a girl who makes him want to be better and he tries not to mess up.
Carter and Kendall meet each other at the airport and an adventure of a lifetime begins while they are together. Carter made Kendall forget the reason why she was trying to get away in the first place. However; he was the most playboy and her insecurities kept getting on the way of her feelings that slowly both started to developed for each other during their time together. Carter's naughty side came out and oh good lord; I was laughing so hard with him he just cracked me up so much I loved his character. He wanted to get into Kendall panties from day one but he knew she was different and tried his best to keep it in his pants as much as he could; he tried though and it was priceless. Kendall tries her hardest not to fall for this man but it was almost impossible not to.
These two had me laughing from beginning to end. The story was super hilarious and unpredictable. Believable?! Probably not but I completely enjoyed and devour it none the less. Carter had to deal with his past; he thought he did but after a huge breakup between him and Kendall he realized he was far from being fixed so he tried to get better even if he didn't have her he wanted to move on. Kendall on the other hand never gave Carter a chance; she got scared and that threw me off a bit because he was honest with her since the beginning. However; there's nothing like a good makeup session haha. Both characters had to deal with their own demons and found their way back to each other once again. If you like a light, funny and adventure ride this book is totally for you.

I'm on cloud nine right now after reading this wonderful romance. Authors Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland are like peanut butter and chocolate, or like silk and lace; they just compliment each other's writing styles, and together they created something so unique and delightful that leaves you wishing that the story never ends. I could read Playboy Pilot a hundred times and never get bored, and still love it every time, is that good.

Kendall Sparks is at an airport bar searching on a map for a far, and exotic destination to escape from her complicated life. A life that is so messed up that she doesn't even know how to begin to deal with it. A handsome stranger approaches her, and with his charming smile and good looks he will rope her into accepting a crazy challenge, to get on a plane to go to Brazil. Even though Kendall doesn't know anybody there, and she doesn't speak Portuguese, she has the crazy hope that he too will be there. These two characters were flawed and yet so perfect together. Such a fun a colorful romance that had so many different layers and flavors to it. Every chapter was an adventure and by the time I was finished reading, I was eager to jump back in that plane again. These are characters you miss after you are done reading.
These authors are amazing on their own but together they simply bring stories to another level. They have found the rhythm for the perfect song, the song that you'll always sing and dance to when feeling happy, the song you always keep on replay, the song that makes your heart smile. I will forever dance to the lyrics of Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland.

➳Carter and Kendall will steal your mind away when you read their story! This book had me hooked the moment it mentioned Chris Hemsworth and Theo James, because... HELLO! Chris & Theo are two perfect men specimen. But, yeah going back to Carter and Kendall...
➳Their story is not like the same old story of a pilot falling in love with his conquest. This story has that charismatic and vibrant appeal to it, that no other has. Carter is the Captain for an airplane airline, in which he meets Kendall while she runs away from her problems. Coming upon their little incident at the airport bar, and Kendall's nickname of Perky (**wink wink** it is the innuendo of what you are most likely thinking), there is a connection between them both that is beyond inseparable. Their pasts is something that really does hunt them down.
➳Carter has his hook-up past that throughout the initial part of the story, bothered Kendall because of her lack of trust she had towards Carter. But those walls slowly broke down once she let her heart and connect and open up to Carter. While Carter's past is present, Kendall's is also reviving. Not only does she have to conclude the appropriate aspects to complete the final intakes for her to get her grandfather's inheritance, but she also has to decide what sort of life she wants for Carter and her to deal with. Carter's life is in her hands... The man is HOOKED. Like authors like to say... "he is pussy whipped!"
➳The intimacy scenes... Dear, goody! Carter is a dirty talker... dirty, dirty, FILTHY! And Kendall is one to accept it and embrace it in every way possible. They are both just simply, made for each other. He is one who jerks off so much, because he is truly madly in love (strange reasoning, I know...) but in my head, I don't see anything wrong with a little freaky action. From the hotel room and illegal acts of intimacy in public in Dubai, to the dirty sex in the lake outside a senior citizen home community, Carter and Kendall are legitimately a force to be wrecked with!

➳What truly is a heart breaker of this story is the plot twist that appears. DEAR HOLY GUACAMOLE! (I live my guac so don't judge) That is some plot twist that I was not expecting. It's one that I personally would have taken at another pace if I were Kendall, but oh well... at the end, it all worked out perfectly!
➳At the end of the day, after reading Chandler by Laurelin Paige, I completely enjoyed Playboy Pilot . This is a read that is 86% NOT safe, but it is truly romantic. And yet again, a book that I have read so far this week that has shown the signs of the forgiven second chances.

➳At the end of the day, after reading Chandler by Laurelin Paige, I completely enjoyed Playboy Pilot . This is a read that is 86% NOT safe, but it is truly romantic. And yet again, a book that I have read so far this week that has shown the signs of the forgiven second chances.

I made a mix of the lyrics but I think they fit really well!
This book was unbelievable!! Comparing it to the previous 2 ones, I consider it being the best in terms of plot and complexity. I cannot compare the characters because each one had its own individuality and were completely different in all 3 books.
I want to share a few details about the plot, without spoiling anything important. Kendall Sparks found herself in an airport, without knowing where to go. She is facing a though decision in about a weeks time and needs some time for reflect on the future. A flash trip is exactly what she has in mind. There she meets Carter, a gorgeous and very straightforward man. They click instantly and without knowing, the live they know is about to change, embarking on a wonderful trip of rediscovery. Carter asks Kendall to go to Rio with him, despite that they know each other for about 10 minutes, and she says yes. After that, a lot of interesting things happen, many journeys occur and throughout them, they fall in love.
This was for me a very interesting and unique plot, that encourages you to make some unexpected decisions that might change your live forever. I liked the way the writers encourages us to follow our hearts and take that dive into the unknown, because at the end of the path, we wont regret it.
Let me tell you something about the characters: Kendall is a girl tormented by a decision she has to make in order to continue having financial stability. She is kind of insecure in her own abilities, feels lost and doesn't have anyone to open about her problems. She meets Carter in the airport and the moment they meet spark fly. Carter is confident, smart, good looking, funny, sassy and kind of arrogant, managing to intrigue Kendall well enough for her to accept his dare and take that leap of faith with him. They fly to Rio, Amsterdam and Florida, each journey being a development in their relationship.
Kendall and Carter are good for each other but it takes a while for them to figure it out. Kendall being so insecure and Carter having some baggage of his own, they learn first of all to trust each other, to confide the things that keep them from moving on and to seek for forgiveness and understanding. After they manage to do that, they can permit the fast growing attraction that fascinates them to become a real thing. The love scenes were so well written, so passionate and lovely, it's impossible not to enjoy them.
A plus for this book is the accent put on faith. Both characters were looking for signs to see if their relationship is possible, and it all looked like a puzzle, all waiting for you to put the pieces together.
The Beatles references was amazing and I enjoyed every connection made between the happenings and their songs! Good documentation on that one.
We also have a surprise! A former character makes his appearance and it was hilarious.
In a few word, this is the best book from the series! I consider Penelope and Vi one of the most successful duo YTD, always managing to enchant me and making me read their books with such passion and dedication.

This reading was pretty great! I loved Carter and Kendall!
This duo can write people!!!
I've come to love pilots especially if they look like Carter and make you feel like the only woman on earth! Or challenge you to do things out of your comfort zone!
I loved Carter and how intense he felt for Kendall even in a short amount of time! He was hot, smart, funny and gave her lots and lot of O's and the chance to travel the world doing crazy things and enjoying life like there's no tomorrow!
"Can I see your cockpit?"
"There's nothing more that I would rather do than
show you my cockpit. I thought you'd never ask."
I was surprised that Carter wasn't the classical play boy who wanted a good time and nothing else.
"What makes you happy?"
"You. You're the only thing that's made me happy
in a really long time. And I don't want to even imagine losing this feeling."
Can we just take a second and swoon please...??? Well at least I am! And I can only do this much since you don't exist! Shame though!
This book was funny, hot, with lovable characters, who got in too many adventures to count but that was one of the things that captured me in this story. How spontaneous they were and didn't hold back to explore new things!

Their dialogs were very funny. Carter and his Perky were a couple you would love to be friends with and watch them interact with each other.

“Off the top of my head? Blow, suck, jerk, hole, ride, bend, swallow, inside, meat, nuts, slurp, taste, munch, lick, pull, yank, hot, warm, wet, nibble, throb, bang, cherry, box, eat, ache, stroke, push, pull, ram, screw, messy, plow, thrust, and fill.”
“All of that was off the top of your head?”
“Fuck. Better add head to that list, too."
Kendall was a nice heroine!And when she let loose she was amazing that was what attracted Carter. Of course her beauty and perky tits helped!!!But toward the end she got on my nerves with her attitude! But thankfully she took her head out of her ass and made it right by Carter! That got her some points from me!!!
"I'm crazy about you, Carter. There is nowhere else I'd rather be than standing next to you, wherever that might take me."
But Carter was my absolute favorite in this book.

Oh I loved this book so much! I think that flying away from your problems with a stranger is one of the dreams most romantic girls have.
Kendall needs to run away and to think. She is at the airport thinking of a destination far far away – any destination really. Suddenly a stranger appears and he proposes Brazil as the best destination for this time of the year.
Carter is pilot and he loves the Beatles’ songs. He also loves singing during his long distance flights “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”. There is a really sad story behind this routine and kind of sweet (although I am scared a bit of flying and I am not sure I would have felt comfortable if the pilot of the plane was singing in the microphone while I was trying to sleep).
From Brazil to Emirates to Amsterdam to USA, Carter and Kendall will live a strong love written in the stars. They will need to overcome past loves, forget about fortunes, help the elders ( oh I loved Muriel, George and the Bingo scenes!)
The book is funny and highly sentimental at the same time, full of misunderstandings and strange coicendences. The progression in the lovestory between the two characters will make you sway and smile all the way.

This was exactly what I needed this week, and it felt so good to binge something in less than 24 hours. A light, entertaining journey that helped me travel in my mind while my body was grounded here at home. I can see why Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland have such a loyal following. Thanks Shelly for the recommendation!

Overall Opinion: Hmmm...I'm definitely a minority here with this one. Did I have moments of loving it and laughing out loud as well as swooning over the H? Yes. I just didn't care all that much for the h, and there were some other things that after reflecting on it to write this review bugged me enough to not love it. The pushing away that the h did bothered me big time, and especially her big push at the end made me actually dislike her. I really did enjoy the H though. He made the story for me! The overall premise was fun too. So I think this is going to be a middle of the road "just ok" 3 star rating for me, because I didn't love it and I didn't hate it either.
Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Kendall and Carter's story. They meet at an airport lounge when Kendall is trying to decide where to run off to before making a life altering decision. Carter hints that she should go to Rio, and she ends up in the flight that he is piloting. They end up spending a few days together in Rio, and they continue on an adventure around the world because they don't want to lose the connection they're feeling towards one another. There is some family and ex drama, some sexy times, some laugh-out-loud moments...and they get a HEA ending.
POV: This alternated between Kendall and Carter's POV.
Overall Pace of Story: Good. I never skimmed and I thought it flowed well.
Instalove: No. Instalust? Yes.
H rating: 4.5 stars. Carter. I really liked him. He was sexy, funny, a little odd, and sweet. Yes, he was a manwhore -- but I forgave him for it 😉
h rating: 2 stars. Kendall. She ticked me off when she didn't give the H a chance to work things out before running away, and just the overall pushing away that she did didn't earn her any points with me.
Sadness level: Low, no tissues needed

Heat level: Good. They have some good tension, chemistry, and scenes -- but not so much it takes away from the story.

When Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward write a book together, I get ready to jump into their story. I have read all of their joint books and have enjoyed them all.
Playboy Pilot is nothing what I expected. I was expecting a pilot/flight attendant connection, but what we got was actually much more. Carter Clynes is the playboy pilot and he has more than earned that reputation. His playboy ways is actually how he ends up meeting Kendall Sparks.
Kendall is a lost girl, searching for an escape from her family and obligations. She is actually at the airport bar debating where she will be traveling to when she has a brief encounter with Carter. Based on their conversation she decides to follow him to Brazil and it doesn’t end there. These two end up having a whirlwind romance traveling the world together.
I think Carter and Kendall were able to develop this real connection so quickly because they were such honesty in their relationship. When you meet someone you have no expectations of seeing again it’s easy to let all the ugly parts show and you can be more real. So these two actually develop a connection rather quickly.
This story moves super quick and I really enjoyed that aspect of the story. Overall this book is a great read, however, it was very cheesy at times. This isn’t something that will bother most readers, but it just kept distracting me from really feeling their connection. I didn’t find the moments or dialogue as endearing so I think I personally missed out on that aspect of the story.
If you have read these authors book you know they are sexy, fun reads, that leave with a smile on your face. Despite the over the top cheesy moments, this book still left me happy.

Each of these books are complete standalone novels and each one of them are new and refreshing storylines. You don’t feel like you are reading the same old story just with new characters. The only thing these books have in common is that they are based off random meetings between strangers.
Penelope and Vi always give us characters and storylines that the reader just gets sucked into. Playboy Pilot was no different. Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down. I was even sad when it came to the end. As always their writing styles mesh perfectly and the pace of this story is perfect. They had me laughing out loud, blushing a lot and even made me a little heartbroken, but I love it when a book and author can do that to their readers. I will say that there was one part of the storyline that I did find pretty predictable and kind of wished it was left out, but it didn’t take away from my full enjoyment of this story.
As I’ve said before Penelope and Vi always give us such wonderful main characters, and Carter and Kendall were no exception. I loved them to pieces!!! Carter is your typical playboy bachelor who happens to be a pilot, and he was so lovable. Once his layers were peeled back you can’t help falling for him. He made me laugh so many times. He also had me blushing with his dirty mouth ;) I also really liked Kendall, even though at one point I wanted to smack her for her poor decision making. As I said before….Playboy Pilot is a complete standalone novel and no other book needs to be read before reading this one. There are no interconnected characters like we see in other series standalones, but we do get a very small cameo of one of the other Cocky Bastards….I’m not saying which one…..you’ll have to read the book to find out :)
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a fun, flirty and entertaining read that takes the readers on a far away adventure!! So put your seatbelt on and let Captain Carter take you on the flight of your life ;)
Penelope and Vi always give us characters and storylines that the reader just gets sucked into. Playboy Pilot was no different. Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down. I was even sad when it came to the end. As always their writing styles mesh perfectly and the pace of this story is perfect. They had me laughing out loud, blushing a lot and even made me a little heartbroken, but I love it when a book and author can do that to their readers. I will say that there was one part of the storyline that I did find pretty predictable and kind of wished it was left out, but it didn’t take away from my full enjoyment of this story.
As I’ve said before Penelope and Vi always give us such wonderful main characters, and Carter and Kendall were no exception. I loved them to pieces!!! Carter is your typical playboy bachelor who happens to be a pilot, and he was so lovable. Once his layers were peeled back you can’t help falling for him. He made me laugh so many times. He also had me blushing with his dirty mouth ;) I also really liked Kendall, even though at one point I wanted to smack her for her poor decision making. Kendall is sitting in an airport bar undecided on where to go.
Because she has to go. Somewhere. For a while.
She has to get away to think things through.
We don't yet exactly know what those things are...
Enter Carter.
Mega-hot Playboy Pilot.
They start talking, flirting, laughing, arguing.
And by the end of their little 'date' he tells her to choose Brazil for her destination.
Turns out he did that because he's the pilot on the flight to Rio.
Thus begins an adventure that takes Kendall and Carter all over the globe.
Lots of funny and sexy and adorable and frustrating and very serious & sad moments for our two darlings.
Kendall has a decision to make and Carter has to get rid of his playboy-pilot-persona - only then can they even think about something serious...

We don't really know why Kendall is sitting in that airport bar ... we just know that it was supposed to be this way, because.... CARTER!
It's so adorable how they meet! Funny, cute, over-the-top flirting and ugh, I just loved it!
Then they take us to amazing places all over the world and there's just nothing that can be done other that sit back, relax and enjoy the hell out of the TRIP ☺☺☺
Of course it's not all travel and sexiness and insta-happily-ever-after.
There's still Kendall's decision and Carter hasn't yet really dealt with some things in his past.
We might even cry a bit here and there until we might see the HEA on the horizon!!!! ☺

Was there something I didn't like?
Hm, not really. Just a few tiny little details weren't researched enough, but pfff, who cares!
(Like going to Germany for the 'thing' - that's soo not legal in Germany. Then a full pilot at 29? Also not very probable. And do pilots not only have one route they always fly for a while? And Dubai. While still very back-in-time with female rights and PDA, it's not as bad as it's made out in the book. Not anymore.)
And then just two very personal hard-limits for me: there was a bit too much believing in God and psychic-old-lady stuff. And the 2nd one: I'M A STONES GIRL!!! AWAY WITH THOSE BEATLES!!!!!!☺☺☺
