Just another crazy day in paradise...
Meredith Whitman isn’t in the sunny Caribbean looking for trouble, especially not in the form of the Russian Mafia. All she wants is to contemplate enough tropical sunsets to forget the tragedies of her past. Still, trouble is what she gets – along with a second chance at true love.

Toussaint “Tuss” Anderson is a man on a mission that doesn't involve rescuing damsels in distress. But when bullets start to fly, he finds himself face to face with the one woman he can’t get out of his mind. Now he’s in the line of fire, too, and pitted against a ruthless foe. Can he help Meredith outfox a deadly criminal? And can he do it without sacrificing his life – or his love-struck heart?

* An action-adventure romance with adult content. The perfect read for fans of strong heroines, alpha heroes, tropical islands, romantic escapes, sea adventures, military romance, tropical beach vacations, travel romance, and comedy romance – and of course pirates, swashbucklers, and rakish rogues! *

USA Today and Amazon best-selling author Anna Lowe loves putting the "hero" back into heroine and letting location ignite a passionate romance. She likes a heroine who is independent, intelligent, and imperfect — a woman who's doing just fine on her own. But give the heroine a good man (not to mention a chance to overcome her own inhibitions) and she'll never turn down the chance for adventure, nor shy away from danger.

On any given weekend, you might find her hiking in the mountains or hunched over her laptop, working on her latest story. Either way, the day will end with a chunk of dark chocolate and a good read.

She had a way of picking lost causes, of having to be the strong one. And for so long, she’d felt adrift — a boat without a compass or a wind to fill its sails. But with Tuss, even this crazy situation seemed manageable somehow.

*happy sigh*

I don't know why I took my precious sweet time to read this series after falling in love with the first story, but I'm SO GLAD I dove back in and finished it! And now I want to start back over from the beginning!

There's so much I loved about this story - the depth of emotions, the amazing spark of connection, the heat that boiled off the page (I mean, it's the Caribbean, yeah?), the sweetness, the protectiveness, the cute. I was so immersed into the story, I felt like I was on the sailboat, running from bad men, hearing the waves, feeling the wind, living in the moment surrounded by island live. I also loved the encouragement and little nuggets of truth that hit me deep - I super connected with Meredith and needed to hear and believe some of the same things.

This whole series is a top winner for me! Definitely some fun summer-time-deck-soaking-up-the-sunshine reading!

Life can be beautiful, sweetheart. Make sure you let that joy in.

She blinked, then locked those sea-blue eyes on his and hung on. Hung on like he was all she needed to escape this mess.

“Don’t overthink this,” he murmured as he swept her into a hug. A nice, tight, You’ll be safe with me hug that made her mind go blissfully blank.

Danger and Love in the Caribbean

Fast paced and action packed romance, it will keep you on the edge of your seat! Meredith has sailed her family's boat Serendipity to Granada to rest, relax, and try to forgot about her past, but an unexpected danger ends up ruining her plans. Tuss is not out to save ladies in distress but when Meredith needs help, he turns up to save the day, and ends up in danger himself. Meredith and Tuss are not strangers to each other though, and they have not been able to forgot about their previous time together, but being reunited in danger was not in either of their plans. But sometimes danger can bring two people closer together than anything else, maybe even to find love. Together they must get to safety, will they get a chance to explore their connection, or will the Russian Mafia get to them first? I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Review

She had sailed the sloop by herself for days and landed in Granada. Going into town to gather supplies was fine n until a car came by window ready led down and a gun barrel sticking out. When the shooting started, she stood there in shock and someone yelled and then grabbed her down to the ground. After there was a a man with blood shooting out of his arm and she stopped it until an ambulance came.

Dr. Meredith Whitman is on holiday sailing through the Caribbean visiting Islands she has just come from Bonaire and has arrived in Granada for awhile she is taking a bus to the farmers market and the post office she gets to the market and has purchased everything she needs and then gunshots ring out and she stands there in shock and is knocked down and protected by a very muscled man and when he lets her up she sees that it is her one night stand from the Island of Bonaire Tousaint Louventure (Tuss) their eyes meet and they both think about the night that they spent together but there is screaming a man has been shot and is bleeding and could die but Mer helps him and Tuss gives his shirt as a tourniquet the man whose arm is bleeding happens to be the owner of the yacht he is working on he is a Russian he is moving around but Meredith tells him unless lies still he would die once the ambulance comes and takes him away then Mer has a minute to talk to Tuss before the chef he has come to help get supplies drags him away so she doesn't know exactly why he is in Granada even though she does know that he was working on ships that were sailing through the Islands. The next evening Meredith has been invited to the yacht of the man she saved now she is on her way to his yacht and it is the biggest ship she has ever seen at the launch she steps up to get in and Tuss is there to help her in they both act as if they do not know one another and she arrives and meets Alexei Andreiivich the Russian visiting Granada she has dinner with him and his mistress while he brags about his megayacht Mer is very nervous when she realizes that the yacht is moving and he tells her it is alright and he leaves the room as does his mistress and she does the silliest thing imaginable and gets her self in serious trouble. Tuss sees that Popov right hand man to Andreiivich who he believes to be with the Russian Mafia has taken Mer and locked her in a room he has to wait but he does come to find out what has happened and when he does find out he quits his job. This is quite an intriguing run for their lives. I provided an honest review.

Meredith, a doctor in her real life, is enjoying her time in Grenada after a few weeks at sea. Now that her sister, Mia, and her boyfriend, Ryan (see Windswept, book three) have returned home to their jobs, Meredith is continuing on alone. Right now though, she's in a taxivan with the man that kept hitting on her a few nights ago, a man that doesn't seem to remember doing so. However, Meredith would greatly prefer being near the man she met on Bonaire almost a month ago, the man she spent one hot night with, exploring the intense chemistry between them. She can't get Toussaint, aka Tuss, off her mind and as she's helping a man in need of her medical skills, she's surprised to see him again. But maybe she can spend some more time with him, especially since he's the first person that's made her feel truly alive again in so long.

Tuss can't believe Meredith is in front of him again. Now that the danger has passed, and he's ensured she's safe, he hasn't stopped thinking about their night together. He regrettably pushes the memories aside though upon learning the big boss of the megayacht he works on has been injured. He watches in awe as Meredith calmly and efficiently works on Alexei. After she stabilizes him for transport, Tuss and Meredith take a moment for themselves, savoring being able to touch each other again, the connection still evident between them, until he's pulled away by a fellow crewmate. Reluctantly, Tuss let's her go, saying good-bye yet again.

A few days later, fate brings them together yet again as Alexei is determined to thank the woman that saved his life. After a tour and dinner aboard the yacht, Meredith is left alone for a few minutes and that's when everything changes upon hearing a conversation she shouldn't have, an act that Alexei quickly becomes aware of, therefore sealing her fate until Tuss realizes something isn't right and helps her escape.

Will Tuss save Meredith from his boss? What did Meredith hear that she shouldn't have? Who can Tuss and Meredith turn to for help as they go on the run from Alexei? Will they get a chance to explore their connection? Will they get their HEA?

One-click now to see how one night together turns into so much more between these two. Follow their journey as they try to stay ahead of the danger after them, while falling in love along the way.

ROMANCE IN THE CARIBBEAN

This titillating tale has grave danger, life-threatening moments, beautifully described scene descriptions and of course sensual romance to keep you intrigued until the end.

Meredith Whitman is the lone sailor of the Serendipity and is in Grenada the Spice Island to unwind and figure out which direction her life is going. A haunted past has kept her from finding love and as a doctor, she can practice anywhere her heart desires. While shopping at an outside market for fresh fruit and other delicacies random shots are fired. Fortunately, for Meredith, her life is saved by the gorgeous charismatic hunk that she had one memorable evening with on the island of Bonaire. Toussaint (nicknamed Tuss) is elated that Meredith is in his arms again not wanting to let her go as desire swirls through him. He has never forgotten his one night of bliss with the blue-eyed beauty. Unfortunately, deadly danger in form of the Russian Mafia is hot on their heels. Tuss and Meredith must find a way to escape their evil clutches permanently.

The author has given readers a thrilling read with credible characters who come alive with witty dialogue, gripping suspense, and superb humor. Meredith proves to be a most valiant heroine and Tuss a protective hero. Tuss and Meredith compliment each other; they enjoy each other, and their romance is filled with devotion and fiery passion. I also enjoyed the engaging secondary characters who befriended Tuss and Meredith. Loved this Caribbean adventure; a most entertaining read. If you treasure fantasy romance, this is a fabulous addition to your library. {I was gifted this book and this is my honest review}. In fantasy romance, the magic begins with the first thought to paper. Without reservations, I recommend this book.

Anna Lowe writes another great adventure in the Caribbean. And more importantly, you don't need to read them all in order to enjoy this 4th book in the series (although they're great reads too)!

Meredith has been out at sea with her sister and her sister's boyfriend, when they've decided its time to return to their real lives. Meredith has plans to continue exploring but wishes she had someone on her boat to join her and share in her adventures. She heads to the shore to shop a bit, when gunfire rings out and she's knocked to the ground. When the dust settles, she realizes that Tuss is the one protecting her. Tuss was her one night stand, they separated and she figured that she would never see him again. But he's here and helping her. Although now that the dust has settled she also realizes that people have been shot and she saves a mans life. Not just any man, but the head of the Russian mafia. Shortly thereafter, the man requests her presence on his boat to thank her.

Unfortunately, the night doesn't quite go as planned. On the one hand, she sees Tuss again as he works for the mafia man however, she overhears a conversation that she shouldn't have and must flee. The excitement truly begins at this point as she tries to escape this man with the help of Tuss. Will they escape the reaches of the Russian mob? Can Tuss and Meredith find there happily ever after? Will Meredith be able to get back to Serendipity and explore more? Read it to find out. It's a great adventure book with splashes of romance that doesn't disappoint!
Anna Lowe is one of my favorite one-click authors!

A Romantic sailing adventure not to be missed – love this series!!

Meredith has her turn at her grandfather’s 32-foot boat Serendipity, and has taken it 400 miles from Bonaire to Grenada. Her sister and her sister’s boyfriend were with her for this leg – but the next 400 would be on her own. Taking a break from being a doctor and taking in the lush tropical island. She wished she had someone to share this paradise with – but she lost the man she once loved.

As gunfire breaks out in the once tranquil market, steely arms tackle and cover her protectively. The one person she ever slept with within hours of meeting; Toussaint Louverture, Tuss. His boss Alexei is shot in the altercation and Meredith takes charge with a calm cool expertise. Afterward Tuss is called back to work, and Meredith continues to reminisce about their one blissful night together. When Alexei insists on thanking her for saving his life with a dinner on his yacht she overhears something she should not. Tuss helps her escape and the adventure begins!

Meredith was warned about reefs and storms – she didn’t think she would have to worry about Russian Mafia. A riveting ride with a soccer superstar, a born hugger, match + hairspray kisses, a trip to cloud nine, a trip south, and some pirate action. Loved this book – love the entire series!!!

ADRIFT(Serendipity #4) by Anna Lowe

Meredith Whitman is in the Caribbean to enjoy the beauty and tropical sunsets, and to forget the tragedies of her past. She's definitely not looking for trouble in the form of the Russian Mafia. But still, it manages to find her, and with that perhaps a second chance at true love.

Toussaint 'Tuss' Andersonis a man on a mission, his not there to rescue damsels in distress. Yet he finds himself in exactly that position when bullets start to fly. When he comes face to face with Meredith, he can't get her out of his head. Now he to is in the line of fire, and against a ruthless foe. Can they work together to outfox the deadly criminal? And can he do it without sacrificing his life or the woman he loves?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It has suspense, action, and some hot romance. I really liked Tuss and Meredith, and their relationship. Tuss was a great guy, his passionate and really quiet sweet, and he wasn't afraid to show Meredith that. Meredith was a little more serious but I think that comes with been a ER doctor, but I still liked her alot. It was a nice relaxed read, which flowed smoothly. I love this whole series, and this book is no different. A very enjoyable and entertaining read!

ANOTHER GREAT SERENDIPITY ADVENTURE
I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR AN HONEST REVIEW ........ OVER 18 + READING
Meredith Whitman (a doctor)is on Grenada in the southern Caribbean, now alone since her sister Mia and boyfriend Ryan have gone back to their jobs in the US, they had sailed 400 miles from New England to the Caribbean. Since she still had a couple months vacation she would sail the next 400 alone on the 32 foot Serendipity her grandfathers boat, left to all his grandkids. She goes to the market for supplies, where a shooting starts and she is pushed down, by someone familiar, back on the island of Bonaire (Toussaint Louverture, Tuss). Mr. Alexei Andreiivich (the Russian billionaire she had saved at the market) had someone call to invite her to dinner, at which things took a turn that was unexpected when she heard something she shouldn't. Help from an expected place when she was trying to get free.Broken down taxi van in middle of jungle, helpful island people to find them someplace to stay the night, and a warning to run with a child to show the way. Chased so many times- diving off waterfalls, hiding in caves so small, sailing a sailboat in dangerous waters because bad people and big ship is after them in safe water .Finally all leads to a HEA.

Once again, Anna Lowe has swept us off of our feet and into the deep blue yonder of the Caribbean as we follow the last of the cousins, Meredith. Meredith is tired of being lonely and decides it's time to get off the boat and do a bit of shopping, since she's been holed up on Serendipity for over a week now. What she doesn't expect is to find herself in the middle of a shooting, or being saved by her supposed fling of last month, Tuss. After saving the life of who was shot, she finds out that he is a billionaire, and, a Russian mob boss. Can she make it out alive? And will Tuss still want her, even though she has dragged him through the dangers?
This book is chalked full of intrigue and excitement, with lots of life-threatening situations, both on land and in the waters, and a tender love story that will have your heart pumping at high rates. A legacy of a man loved dearly by his grandchildren, with instructions on how to live life to its' fullest, this series will have you re-thinking what it is you have to do to be truly happy. You never know who you will meet on your journeys. If you haven't already read the rest of the series, I strongly suggest you do. You won't regret it, I'm sure.

This standalone is number four in the Serendipity series and my favorite, with number three coming in a close second. But really, the entire series is great.
Meredith Whitman, MD, is sailing alone after her sister (featured in book three) had to go back to work. She is tired of big city ER work, so plans to spend a few months in the islands before heading home. The twelfth anniversary of her high school boyfriend's suicide is approaching, something she's been unable to move past in spite of encouragement from her sister. She remembers her grandfather's admonitions about enjoying life, but the only person to make her forget Marco for even a little while was a man she met in Bonaire a few weeks back. Someone she'll never see again. Then an outing to the market in Grenada puts her on the scene of a drive by shooting and "Tuss", the man from Bonaire, comes out of nowhere and saves her from flying bullets. She then saves the life of a wounded billionaire Russian mafia boss, an event that will end up turning her life, and by extension Tuss' life, upside down.

Again Anna Lowe brings forth a captivating romance found in the sunny reaches of the Caribbean.

Meredith is sailing alone now that her sister and boyfriend have made their way back to the states. She had encountered Tuss at the layover before and figured she wouldn't see him again. The market she is in falls under attack and she gets knocked out of the path of flying bullets. Would you believe Tuss is the one who saved her halfway across the caribbean from where they had met? Through the aftermath of the attack, her doctor's sensibilities get called upon and she works to save lives that may have been lost before paramedics could arrive. However doing so has put her in the eyes of a russian mafia overlord.

Will Tuss and her be able to rekindle the romance that had started earlier, or does he work for the mafia where she finds him again? Will she be able to get away to survive? I definitely recommend reading this book, I found it worth the wait.

Meredith is a doctor who is sailing around the Caribbean in Serendipity and stops at Grenada. She was walking through the market in the Island's capital when a car raced up and someone opened fire with a rifle. A man grabbed her and pulled her to the ground and covered her; it was Tuss, someone she had met previously and shared a night with. A man was shot and Meredith took care of him until he could be taken to the hospital. This man was a Russian mobster named Andreiivich and Tuss worked for him on his yacht. Andreiivich invited Meredith to have dinner on his yacht to thank her for taking of him. While there she did something really foolish; she answered a phone that was ringing and found herself being chased by Andreiivich's men who were trying to kill her. Tuss rescued her and now they had to get back to Serendipity and get away from the mobsters. After many narrow escapes, the bad guys are caught by the authorities and all is well. Danger and Love in the Carribean

Fast paced and action packed romance, it will keep you on the edge of your seat! Meredith and Tuss are not strangers to each other though, and they have not been able to forgot about their previous time together, but being reunited in danger was not in either of their plans. This is another great edition to the Serendipity Adventure series. This one finds Meredith alone and trying to find some peace. She definitely doesn't expect to be in the middle of gunfire and on the run from the mob. Luckily, she has Tuss to protect her and keep her safe.

I have read all the books in the series. While it is great to read them all, you can jump into the series. I like that the female characters are strong women who are independent and smart. They are matched with men that are just as strong.

The books include a great mix of action and romance. Meredith and Tuss are a great couple with plenty of chemistry. As they face great danger, they realize the strength of their feelings for each other. The author really takes time to develop the characters and does not rush the relationship.

This is such a fun series! Meredith is sailing on her grandfather's boat trying to relax and enjoy the Caribbean. After a great night with Tuss she never expects to see him again much less when bullets are flying in the market she's visiting. When the person she saves invites her to dinner on his mega yacht she winds up in trouble with the Russian mob and Tuss is there to save her. The 2 are off trying to escape the mob but they can't escape their feelings for each other.

I just love the stories this author gives her readers. She knows how to tell a story that puts you right there with her characters, you just feel like you're there with them. The chemistry between Meredith and Tuss is wonderful and just makes you smile. A wonderful read for the romance lovers. I received a copy for a honest review.

Meredith Whitman is a doctor on a trip in her grandpa's boat ( the Serendipity ) when he died he left it to all his grandkids. The first half of her trip was spent with her sister Mia and her boyfriend Ryan but they went back home. Now for this half of the trip she saved a man's life, over heard something she shouldn't have, and was saved by Tuss (a hot guy she meet at the last port she was in). Now they are on the run from the Russian mafia. Talk about a Caribbean adventure!

Tuss and Meredith had shared a night of passion some months ago and when they met again it was in a dangerous situation. When Tuss took the job on Tsareva he didn’t know where he was getting into. They needed a good thing in their lives and they recognize that they had got it. A good action changed the course of her trip and put Meredith in the path of a mobster and now they both got entangled in an interesting and entertaining adventure full of action, suspense, intrigue, romance, good characters, violence and a spectacular escape. Meredith at last had left behind her ghosts and embraced joy. Good story that I enjoyed it very much.

Very enjoyable sailing romance!

Adrift is part of the Serendipity Romance Adventure series but can definitely be read as a stand alone. This is a fast-paced story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Both Meredith and Tuss are well-written characters. Meredith is a strong woman when she needs to be and is very likable. Tuss is an alpha hero who recognizes this and was not afraid to follow her. A great deal of action and suspense along with romance in this tropical paradise.

Meredith is the next family member to sail Serendipity around the Caribbean Islands to relax, rest and come to terms with her past. Unfortunately Meredith gets mixed up in something that has her running for her life. Tuss didn't think he'd ever see the woman he'd spent a wonderful night with awhile back, but here he was rescuing her from the Russian Mafia and running for his life too! Another fantastic Serendipity Adventure. Meredith is off to sail alone to Grenada. When gunfire rings out in the market she saves the life of a Russian mafia boss and runs into her last one night stand she hasn't been able to forget. When she ends up hearing things she shouldn't have Meredith and Tuff have to stay one step ahead of the Mafia
Nonstop action and adventure, plenty of romance in this 4th book. Who can resist the Caribbean.

Gifted a copy in exchange for honest review:

This book offers just enough action and heat to keep the readers attention. It doesn't hurt that it is a very romantic setting and backdrop. Couple all that with a handsome man and an independent female and you have for a great plot. Even though Adrift is book four in the Serendipity series, it isn't necessary to read them all to understand and enjoy the book as a standalone.

Adrift is the 4th and last book in the series. You do not need to read the other 3 books in order to understand the story. Great dialogue, great story, sexy steamy times and feels to match. "Shaking off the feeling of being rudderless and adrift she'd had for years." These books make me want to quit my job and go sail boats in the Caribbean. Enjoy! This book has been provided by the author with no expectations and that in no way influences my review.
