This story started out as my fave of the two books I've read in the series. The story line is great! The characters are great! Tope is a controlling, aggressive, alpha dude whom I loved instantly. His brand of discipline is bananas! It's exactly what Anuli needs.....

As strong as Anuli and Tope's feelings are for each other, why bring someone else in the bedroom? I opted to skip chapter sixteen, the ménage scene, as I felt it was unnecessary. It also made Tope and Anuli's relationship null and vo

So, I've read a lot of menage stories, but they've been mostly like porn movie script, useless.

But Kiru went at this story like any other romance story. I didn't see the menage coming and when it did, I thought it'll only be that one time. Imagine my slack jaws when it's more!

This is romance at its peak. Allow me to be proud that my first rounded menage novel came from a Nigerian and in Nigeria.

Thank you, Kiru, for an absolutely thrilling finish to this series.

This was an important story happening all over the world with childhood sexual abuse and sex trade. The love story within help you wrap your head around the coping and surviving mechanism victims go though to stay sane. However, this erotic love story was wonderful told with new found shared loves that keeps you reading.

Great read

This was definitely the more spicier book of the series but an amazing read nonetheless and yes hunny I enjoyed all the hott and sexy steam between Anuli, Tope and Bosco... Many women would love to have two sexy, strong and adorable men all to themselves... I truly enjoyed every book in this series and I can’t wait to read more from this author

My issues with this book are purely personal preference and I can see the book is well written with a good structure and well developed characters, however similar to book 3 it didn't really know what genre it wanted to be. I was expecting a dark read with it being called captive but it wasn't really that dark.
I much preferred Anulis character in this story than book 3 but Tope comes across as stalkerish and possessive and not in a bad boy alpha way and not in a ooh dark read kinda way either (s

Captive was a hot 4 star read.

Anuli is trying to move forward and accept that she will never find her prince charming.
Anuli also has some demons from her past that she is dealing with.

Than she meets Tope, after a very hot and heavy evening he easily gets into her head. She needs to distance herself from him. Tope is a very dominant male and can see right through her.
There is something about him that is dark, scary and intriguing.

What kind of man agrees

Two warnings about this book: 1. It’s not a stand-alone, although technically you could read it alone, but the book that precedes it gives the reader more clarity into Anuli, her life, and her motivations (and besides, Worthy was a great read) 2. It’s not a traditional romance. Ms. Taye categorizes it as erotic suspense. Now with those things out of the way, let’s get down to my review.

I didn’t realize this book would take me out of my comfort zone, but it did, and I am truly glad. The story was
