This Body and Soul series has really become one of my favorite of Rochelle Paige's. Smoking Hot ex-military, OTT Alpha heroes, insta-love and sweet and sassy heroines make the permanent and enticing trademark combo of this books, and this one, Sell Your Soul, ticks all this points and then some!
Vaughn was the absolutely perfect broken/tormented hero. After a what it seems like a lifetime in the military, and now on the private security sector, he doesn't think of himself as a good man, and therefore undeserving of good things, specially a future with a loving woman and children. So when he comes across Carissa, amidst one his missions - which by the way, show how truly selfless and good hearted character - even though he feels she is special to him, he hesitates because he feels he doesn't deserve someone pure and good like her, but quickly realizes that she is in he middle of the very danger he is trying to take down, and that he has no chance but to give in to this soul deep attraction and claim Carissa as his, and save her from this threat.
“I’ll give you a couple days to think about what you want, but you need to know I’m not looking for a one-time thing with you, Carissa. If you give yourself to me, then you’re mine, and I’m not letting you go.”
“Three days,” I breathed against her throat. “It’s too long for me to go without tasting your lips. Without hearing your voice. Feeling your body underneath mine. It only took me one night, and I’m completely addicted to you.”

Carissa has been sheltered from the real world and neglected by her parents her whole life, so when they finally show a bit of interest in her, she thinks this may be the start of a new beginning. But sadly, she quickly realizes that there must be a grand plan behind her parents reason to push her into the spotlight in bachelorette auction. But what her parents didn't expect was that the winning bid would belong to the man that would come to mean everything to their daughter. Her true hero!

I LOVED these two as a couple. Their perfect balance of sweet and sexy, hard and soft, caring and loving really conquered my heart, and Vaughn couldn't have been more perfect in my eyes, because I adore a good broken hero, even though deep down he wasn't that broken, and the little cracks in his soul were easily healed by Carissa's love. And in return, he gave her a new and love filled life that she could only ever dream of before. A true fairy tale come true. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

4.5 SOUL SAVING STARS
I really enjoyed this book about a sweet innocent all girl boarding school shut-in and the smoking hot and handsome mercenary.
The story start with a bid, the winning bid at a charity bachelorette auction. The heroine's Carissa is put up on auction by her parents who seem to have plan for her. Nefarious plans!
The hero Vaughn is there in order to stop an evil human trafficking ring Lord from acquiring another potential victim.
When Vaughn spots Carissa on stage, who is the object of this evil man's focus. She is everything Vaughn wants to have and protect.
He thinks:
"I pictured the beauty on the stage ending up dead like the girl in the alley. There was no way in hell I was going to let him get his hands on her and destroy the innocence shining from her eyes.
One look was all it took for the hero to fall for his innocent miss. However, he would be forced to take drastic measures to protect his one true love.
Will she be willing to believe in him and their fragile new relationship? Or will this prove to be too much for the heroine?
Read this sweet story and find out!
Enjoyable and worth a read and maybe even a reread later on.
I would recommend for those who enjoy first love and insta-love stories.

I love this one! I enjoyed this series a lot! It's short, hot and perfect!
The story is about Vaughn and Carissa.
Carissa's parents kept her isolated only to put her up on a bachelorette auction. Vaughn is a retired sniper in the Army and he's at the said auction to hunt the head of the human trafficking ring.
One look at her on the stage and he didn't want anyone to look at her. When the man he's after was bidding on her, he outbid him to save her.
Vaughn will do everything to protect her, to keep her safe and happy. He thought she deserves someone better but he's the right man for her.
There's a nice epilogue with marriage and babies.

So far so good.
This is about Carissa who is under her parents thumb. She meets Vaughn at a charity auction when he wins the bid on her. Vaughn is undercover trying to expose a human trafficking ring and deal with the head of the organization. Once they meet it is full on insta love with some steam.
Very sweet and short but one I enjoyed. The heroine is young but doesn't act childish and the hero is a a great alpha. Enjoyed it.

I love a Rochelle Paige book! Whether it's her alone or as part of the writing duo Fiona Davenport, she gives us a good ride!
Alpha broody male Vaughn, meets young innocent virgin, Carissa during a bachelorette auction. He instantly goes into "mine" mode (which I freaking love ) and has to have her. Not only because he has an instalove reaction to her, but the other bidder has evil plans for his sweet girl.
Carissa was sweet, naive and very sheltered. After living away for years, she had no clue what her parents were up to when making her be a part of the auction. All she knows is the sizzling hot man (Vaughn), who won the bid, makes her feel things she's never felt before.
Although it felt a little rushed, I did thoroughly enjoy this book. I felt the sex scenes were held off too long, well past 50-60% before they actually had sex. I would have liked to see more couple time. Short epilogue about a year and a half or so out. Wished it was farther into their future.

Vaughn solo tenía que ir a la recaudación e intentar acercarse a su último objetivo para averiguar en qué clase de mierda estaba metido. Eso es, hasta que hay una subasta de solteras y su trabajo pasa a un segundo plano.
Carissa no quiere estar allí, no quiere participar en una subasta de solteras como si fuese un jarrón caro. Pero quizá no es del todo malo cuando Vaughn gana la subasta... Pero hay muchas cosas que Carissa no sabe de Vaughn y que quizá no sea capaz de aceptar.
Me gustó, bastante más que el segundo. No sé porque el anterior se me hizo pesado pero este en cambio no. Eso sí, las historias siguen siendo demasiado cortas 60 páginas no te dan ni para probar jajaja. Vaughn es todo un héroe malo, me encantan del tipo de asesinos a sueldo pero solo de hombres malos. Carissa es una niña de 18 años aunque bueno eso nada tiene que ver porque si una quiere ser madura lo es.
En fin, que estas historias son perfectas para pasar el rato pero siempre te quedas como que necesitabas más tiempo, porque páginas no eh, la autora es capaz de darte dos y tres epílogos para que tengas un final bien bien cerrado jajaja.

When an alpha hunk goes in, he goes all in. Vaughn only wanted to piss off his target by outbidding him, but what started as part of his mission turned into something else entirely with one look at innocent but sexy Carissa.
Carissa can’t comprehend what’s going on with her parents, after what felt like a lifetime in boarding school in Europe and being practically sequestered at their estate, she finds herself being forced to parade at a bachelorettes auction to be won by one of her father’s business associates.
She’s more than pleasantly surprised when she likes the guy so much. Only, the bossy hunk who won her date was not the one who was supposed to. Vaughn’s move sets in motion a domino effect and now everything he’s worked for is in jeopardy, only now his world has changed, and the only thing that matters is Carissa.
With lots of action and a fair share of suspense, Sell Your Soul had a lot less sextivities than what I was expecting. Don’t get me wrong, what we get is totally hot, I was just expecting the percentage of sexy shenanigans to be more substantial. That said I was not at all disappointed with where the story went.
Vaughn was a total badass, honorable and devoted to making the world a safer place. Under all his toughness there was a truly golden heart, you know, just hidden behind the bloodthirstiness.
Carissa started off as a bit of a doormat, which has become a pet peeve of mine, but she gradually grew out of it. As she was very young and was just getting back home I could let it slide. The fact that she could deal with Vaughn’s life decisions won her a lot of points.
Besides, when you can say:
With a straight face, you’re just my kind of girl.
Sexy, sweet and surprisingly full of action, Sell Your Soul was a great read I enjoyed, and this is turning into a really addicting series for me.

Vaughn doesn't see himself as a good person, because of the things he has done in life. He's former military and now he works as a private contractor, fixing problems by whatever means necessary. His newest assignment is hunting down a human trafficker and that leads him to a lead for his bad guy at a charity gala but instead finds the alluring Carissa.
Carissa has been sheltered pretty much all of her life. Her family sent her to an all-girls school from where she is just now coming home from. Her family keeps pretty tight control on her free time and make sure to know where she is at all time. Now she is back home from school, she is told, not asked, that she will participate in a bachelorette auction for charity. They seem to allude that they will control on who will win her bid but things do not go to plan and Vaughn is the one who sees her, bids on her , whether its to protect her or keep her, that is where the story really takes off. There is a lot of action and chemistry between Vaughn and Carissa. She doesn’t know what is going on , all she knows is she feels so much around this man and there is so many secrets that are coming out around him. While they are together, Vaughn begins to realize that he wants to keep her but doesn’t know if he is worthy of her, with all that has gone on in his past. There are a lot of twists and turns in this romantic suspense story . I loved the chemistry between the MC and the sexual tension was great. I really would have loved to know more about why her parents were the way they were and also a little more about the bad guy but, hey, this was awesome and I loved what was here in the novella style story. I enjoyed the book from start to finish and I cannot wait for the next story from Ms. Paige.

Sell your soul is book three in the body and soul series. Although I have read one of Rochelle’s other books, I haven’t read the previous two in this series. I enjoyed this book and I loved how protective Vaughn was of Carissa. He would literally do ANYTHING to keep her safe. I also liked that Carissa was so accepting of Vaughn and the career path he had chosen.
Whilst on the hunt for the leader of a child trafficking ring, Vaughn Westbrook finds himself at a charity gala. When he spots his target he also spots a stunning young girl on the stage taking part in the bachelorette auction, he is instantly attracted to her but when he spots his target putting a bid on her, he HAS to win that date and bids a quarter of a million on her. Carissa has only home from six years of boarding school in Switzerland for a few weeks. After her parents force her to be auctioned off for charity, and she learns that her parents have chosen the winning bid, Carissa is shocked to find out that a mysterious handsome man that doesn’t have her fathers approval has won a date with her.

This is the third book in the Body and Soul series by Rochelle Paige. Vaughn Westbrook's parents were killed in a car accident when he was a senior in high school. Not leaving him with a lot of options he joined the army after graduating high school. He was a sniper in the army with a lot of confirmed kills. He's now retired and working for himself (as a Merc). He's working now to catch a man who's involved with human trafficking. It leads him to a charity bachelorette auction where his suspect is supposed to be. Carissa was sent away to a boarding school in Switzerland when she was thirteen years old. Her parents were both cold and indifferent towards her. But she was stuck under their thumbs until she could access her trust fund from her grandparents. She's 19 years old and has never been on a date so she's shocked when her mother tells her she will be participating in the auction. Her mother reassures her that a friend of her father will be the one to bid on her. When Vaughn sees his suspect, Alexander bidding on the young, innocent Carissa he knows he can't let him have her. So Vaughn bids $250,000 on Carissa and he wins much to the dismay of her parents and Alexander. I love this series and Vaughn Westbrook is a badass and I loved how protective he was of Carissa.

Rochelle Paige is a top ten favorite of mine. Whether she is writing from her author name or side pen name, I love her stories. They tend to be less angst and more romance. But this series? They are quick, dirty, and have heroes that make us swoon and fall in love.
Sell Your Soul was a sexy, sweet, fun, and completely over the top in the best kind of way romance. This book sucked me in from page one and within an hour, I had devoured this entire book. This standalone novella might be short in length but it packs a serious punch.
One young girl. One experienced man. One mission. One date auction. When Vaughn and Carissa's lives collide, nothing will ever be the same. Their chemistry is undeniable. Their passion is sizzling. Their lust in instant. Their bond is forever. Get ready for a journey that will be unexpected but totally welcome.

Rochelle Paige is one of my go to authors when I want something fun, sexy and suspenseful. Sell Your Soul hit all those marks and then some. I have read all the books in this steamy novella series and Sell Your Soul might just be my favorite yet. When Vaughn encounters Carissa at a bachelorette auction in which he is investigating a human trafficker he knows his whole outlook is changed for the beautiful and innocent Carissa.
'No matter how much I wanted her, no matter how fucking delicious she tasted when I'd kissed her -- I needed to remember that Carissa Hastings wasn't for the likes of me.'
For me what Rochelle excels at is mixing in suspense with your typical sexy read making for something unique and different. Her men are alpha and her women are sassy. I had so much fun reading this story and am looking forward to more from Rochelle in the future.

Ahhh, short and sweet and filled with insta-love and an alpha man who knows what he wants and goes after it. These are my favorite kind of reads :)

Carissa has spent the majority of her nineteen years separated from her parents as they sent her to boarding school and even extended her stay there after school was finished. Upon her return home a few weeks ago, she was essentially kept isolated. She's shocked when her Mom informs her she's participating in a bachelorette auction, and that her father has in fact made assurances that someone of his choosing will have the winning bid for the date with her. However, there was one contingency he couldn't have planned for.
Vaughn, after having spent time in the military, opened a consulting and security company with his friend, Gaige. Due to their particular skills, they also take on certain missions regarding people that need to be taken care of. Vaughn is currently attending a charity gala for the sole purpose of tracking down a man, Alexander Bellamy, involved with a human trafficking ring. He's been unsuccessful so far in finding something to use against Bellamy, that is, until he notices Bellamy's interest in the woman currently up on stage. Vaughn can't help but be enthralled with her upon first glance and makes sure he wins the date with her. There's no way he'd allow Bellamy, or any other man for that matter, to go on a date with her.
Carissa is speechless when the gorgeous man she assumed was the one her father had chosen informs her she's mistaken and that he bid on her because he wanted to. Sexy, sweet novella with a dark undertone. Pretty good stuff. Forced by her parents, an innocent beauty takes part in a bachelorette auction at a charity gala and that's how she meets the hardened ex-military man who buys her first date in a bold move.
What a thrilling premise for a smut romance with an atmosphere a la James Bond. I enjoyed it a lot because the killer for hire is besotted with the young woman and his brutal skills hide a good man who destroys evil in the world. Also, the steamy scenes brought a warm feeling to my chest.
I believe this is the third story in a series about tough men and their women who are loved and protected in fierce terms. Very indulging and enjoyable. I like the mix of dark deeds, hard but honourable men, innocence and corruption, and forever romance.

A short dirty and romantic as fuck novella. If you like you virgins naive and sweet and your bad boys dominating but gentle this is a series for you. This is the third and hopefully not the last in Rochelle Paige's Body and Soul series. Vaughn never thought he would find love but when tracking down a sex trafficker he finds someone who he will gladly give his heart and soul to. Carissa has been sheltered her whole life. Her parents sent her to an all girls boarding school in Europe and never let her do things the other girls were doing. She's only back from school for two weeks when her parents put her on the auction block. Never in her wildest dreams did she ever expect someone like Vaughn.
This was a great story, just as I would expect from Rochelle Paige.

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

In Sell Your Soul we meet Carissa and Vaughn. Carissa is just back home from school and her family is pushing her to attend this charity auction. She doesn’t want to go but then the person who gets the winning bid is Vaughn. The moment Vaughn sees Carissa he knows she will be his. Vaughn also knows that something is right with Carissa’s parents and determined to keep her safe at all costs. Carissa and Vaughn both want each other but first they have deal with some issues from other people.
I thought this was a good read. Vaughn and Carissa had immediate chemistry from the moment that they met. Vaughn knew from the very first moment that he saw her he knew she was going to be his and nothing was going to stand in his way. Carissa and Vaughn will go through some obstacles to get the happily ever after that they want. I am looking forward to reading more of this series!!

I love this series.
Vaughn is ex-military, who is now hunting for the man that is running a human trafficking ring. Carissa is young wealthy girl who is being "auctioned" off for a date at a charity gala. Vaughn is there because his suspect is there too. Vaughn outbids his suspect for a date with Carissa. These 2 were very cute together. She has never been on a date before and he knows it. So, he is very good with her.
Her parents....blah....they should get "Shittiest Parents of the Year" awards. Long story short, Vaughn saves Carissa and takes out the bad guy....love that and he also calls in a favor from Brecken, who was in Bare Your Soul. I am a huge Brecken fan, so I was once again happy Rochelle Paige put him in this book too.

SELL YOUR SOUL is actually the first book I've read that Rochelle Paige has solely written. I've been a huge fan of her books co written with Elle Christensen under the pen name Fiona Davenport, and i'm very glad to have finally read a "Rochelle Paige" story.
SELL YOUR SOUL is a short novella that is very easy and quick to read. A great way to spend the evening ...in bed with a sexy book boyfriend like Vaughan. He's tough and brave and out to bring down the Mr Bad who is running a human trafficking ring. What he didn't count on though is getting involved Carissa, an innocent young woman who is drawn into his mission.
The chemistry between these characters is electric, and sparks fly from the beginning.

I had a feeling that and it made me extremely curious to read this story. Plus I liked the set up to this better than the last one. I'm not a fan of the whole rescue missions because love/lust gets all mixed up in gratitude and how do you know if it's real....anyways back to this book haha
The set up was a little different in the sense that even though Vaughn has insta-lust for Carissa he almost tries to fight his feelings and the fact that Carissa doesn't truly know him leaves some space for some sorta angst (Can I even call it that??) There was potential there for the story to be dragged out which would've been okay in my eyes! hahah I didn't want it to end!

This was another fantastic right by Rochelle Paige. I have really enjoyed reading the series, and I have loves house fulfilling, heated, and a wonderful each and everyone of these stories are. This novella definitely hit the ground running, and I found myself completely hooked into the story I was getting with Carissa and Vaughn. Their story in this book is well written, enjoyable, and will have you feeling all the sparks between them in no time flat! This book can't stand alone, but the series is great and I would highly recommend any of the books within it.
I loved every bit of the story and I definitely look forward to reading more from this author soon!

The Body and Souls series is one of my guilty pleasures. I love these novellas and the alphas in them that are blindsided by the L word. As with the others, Sell Your Soul combines Alpha insta-love with romantic suspense. Vaughn is a mercenary tracking down a human trafficker and Carissa is in danger from the same man. A date purchased at a charity auction and the stage is set for a quick paced story that is sexy and suspenseful. I look forward to more romantic suspense tales from Ms. Paige in the future.
