Wolf Prey was an exercise in frustration from pretty much start to finish.

If it wasn’t an overbearing mother, a foiled sexual encounter or an ex-boyfriend who refuses to get the message… It was Abby being insecure. For me, the sign of a good book is whether it can make you feel something. And Wolf Prey certainly did that. And then some.

I cannot fault Nina West on her writing. She touches on some pretty important subjects such as religion, the role of women and daughter, materialism and slut sh
for something that started out well and with real potential it dropped like a bomb by the time I read through to book 3. The plot went awol and was ridiculous. The final nail in the coffin is that this storyline is now going onto a book 4!
I find myself torn with another book and I am starting to wonder if it is just me. I loved book one of this series, Wolf Bait and I was a big fan of book 2 Wolf Bite, but there is just something that doesn't do it for me here with Wolf Prey. It may be that for some reason I believed that this was the end of the story for Abbi and Henry only to discover it most certainly is not. I walked away from this one feeling a bit let down because I don't feel as strong about Henry and Abbi's relationship a ...more

First of all, I just love this series. I was hooked from the start and have not so patiently been waiting for each book to come out. If you have not read Wolf Bait and Wolf Bite then you need to stop reading this and go pick them up. Not only because you will be lost but let's face it, you will be missing out on some seriously freaking hot scenes. The kind you still think about later and you realize just hot much you missed them when you back and re-read them. You'll thank me later.

For some reason, I thought this was going to be the last book in this series. I guess I was wrong.

Abbi is back home to look after the family farm after her father's near fatal accident. While she's there, her mother decides to try and steer her back onto the "right" path by putting her ex in her way every chance she can get. Meanwhile, Abbi questions her ability to maintain Henry's interest when she's not with him.

Abbi has some more growing up to do in this installment. The age diff

Henry and Abbi are in totally different places than they were in the first and second books in the Wolf Cove series - both literally and figuratively. We finally move away from Alaska to a few new settings, so we get a change of scenery. Also, Henry, while still in charge of Wolf Hotels, is not in charge of Abbi any more. She is back at home in Pennsylvania helping to take care of her injured father and fending off the advances of her lying, cheating ex who now wants her back. Meanwhile Henry is ...more
Here we go again! And can we please do it again and again?

Nina West has written the third book in her Wolf Cove series, and once again she puts Abbi and Henry through a lot.

This is a book about love, but even more a book about guilt and distrust. It is not a stand alone, and you will miss too much if you don’t read the two previous books.

The book is brilliantly well written, and Ms. West is on a clear mission to deliver a story that can entertain the reader to the fullest. She takes us on a jour

4 Steaming Hot Stars!!

After the way Wolf Bite left off I couldn't wait to get stuck into Wolf Prey!! This series by Nina West has become a must read for me, her writing just grabs you and it's highly addictive, turning page after page until I realised I finished the book in one sitting!

In this instalment of the Wolf Series we see Abbi back in her hometown helping out her family after her Dad's nasty accident. This is the last place she wants to be considering she fled for Alaska from here in th

I feel like I need to review books 1-3 together because that's how I read them. As in, straight through, all three books in 4 days, with very little sleep in the middle.
I now feel like I have the worst book hangover in history. I'm not sure how anything else can follow them.
Characters: Frustrating, Relatable, Flawed.
The basic trope of the first novel is not remotely new. Billionaire and a Virgin. But wait.. something seems different? I enjoyed so much watching Abbi blossom from practica

Great series

I'm really enjoying this series. It has all the angst and CRAZY steaminess that I love in books. I took off a star in the one because I'm not seeing any growth with Abbi. She continues to act a little immature and insecure, and I'm ready for her to get over that. It happened a bit at the VERY end of this book, so I hope I'll see more next book!

Oh my goodness ya'll!!!

I LOVED this book so much.

I remember back after the first book in this series came out I was a little leary to start it. (Even if everyone was freaking out about how good it was. Stupid me for not just blindly trusting them. They don't normally steer me wrong haha)

But seriously I remember going man do I really want to get into this this? And then Book one went on sale for free on Amazon and there I was diving right into Abbi and Henry's story. And I couldn't put it down! Li

Cover - It's sexy! Very creative with the contrast colors. I like the all white with the bold blue and the reddish hair. I would buy this book just looking at its cover.
Plot - I like how the story moved from Alaska to other places. In fact, compared to the first two books of the series, this one had lots of changes. Both Henri and Abbi are

Wolf Prey is the third book in the Wolf Cove Series and must be read after Wolf Bait and Wolf Bite. Henry and Abbi have gone through a lot over just a short time. They have both pissed me off but I still love them and their crazy ways. Communication almost ruined them but now they are determined to try to make this work. Wolf Prey starts where Wolf Bite let off...with Abbi back home in Pennsylvania and Henry having to leave her to deal with Wolf Hotels.

I just cannot get enough of Nina West's Wolf Cove series. I was so excited when I saw that Wolf Prey was releasing and that we were going to be getting more of the delicious Henry and the wonderfully innocent Abbi.

In this installment we have Henry and Abbi pulled apart just as they have reconciled. Abby rushed home to take care of the family farm as her father recover from a serious and nasty farm accident. But here is another chance for your sweet and mostly innocent Abbi to learn to grow her

so good sexy hot and I don't have more words. For now

The story takes place just after the end of Wolf Bait, Abbi returned home to take care of the farm and her father. Henri decides to give her a chance and together they will learn to live separately and to trust each other.
I don’t know how Abbi is doing, but she’s always taken is weird situations. She’s naïve and after two books, and all the things that happen to her, you would think that she learned, but absolutely not. It’s fun to see her in

This damn book series!!! I swear. Nina West is trying to kill me.

This just keeps getting better and better. There is so much angst and emotion in this read that I had to take a break. Then when I dove back in, I read a few pages while I was at work. I WAS AT WORK! I couldn't stop reading.

First off, Henry is right up there as one of my Book HUSBANDS...forget boyfriend. He is so BAD!! How could you not love this man? He is so mysterious and sexy, confident, and dominant. Totally sexy and bad ass.
Romance Between The Sheets
Firstly, I loved book 1 and 2, the setting in Alaska, the constant sexual chemistry and fantastic characters around Wolf Cove. So I am devastated that Wolf Prey I have not enjoyed, the main reason is that Abbi and Henry's relationship did not feature in my view as much, I did not feel it developing. I felt so sorry for Abbi, she was alone and being ambushed at every turn and I felt that Henry left her to the wolves. He just came in threw money around and then left her to all the judgements.

That just wasn't enough for me I need more, I'm over here being emotional because these characters have consumed me this past weekend. What will I do with my life now. Sigh...Ha I'm not really good with reviews as far as giving a rundown of what happened in the book, just can tell you that Nina west had my heart in knots I was right there with Abbi the whole time. I felt everything she did. Oh Nina! I love you I can't wait to read the next book and anything else you write.

Sexy, hot, sensual and erotic.

In this third installment of the Wolf Cove series Abbi is back to the home town that she fled from. She probably would have never returned if her father hadn't been in a nearly fatal accident. This brings a ton of unwanted stress and drama hurtling it's way at Abby. Her controlling mother is determined to get Abby back on the "right" path by trying to get her to date her cheating ex again. She expected things to be horrible when she returned and unfortunately she wa

This was another good installment in this series that I have been biting my nails to find out how everything will play out and Nina did a great job with giving us a book that will have you frustrated, angry, panting from the hot as sin scenes, swooning once again for Henry and wanting to commit acts of violence against the characters. Nina does a great job of incorporating some topics that many have at one time or another dealt with some or all. There was the overbearing mother, wanting to get a ...more

Life back at home on the family farm is exactly what Abigail Mitchell expected. Returning to Pennsylvania from Alaska when her father suffers a serious accident, Abbi is having a difficult time making her mother and the rest of the town understand that she is not back to stay. Now that Abbi has reconciled with Henry Wolf, the last thing on her agenda is getting back together with her former boyfriend, Jed, and settling down to run the farm. Because, all of that was life before. Before Alaska, b

Damn! I didn’t realize there was going to be a book four, but I am excited to get more Abbi and Henry. West’s writing continues to captivate me with this series, and the relationship for Abbi and Henry just continues to evolve. Now that she is back home and Henry is working and travelling more, Abbi still struggles in her confidence in their relationship. Although he begins to offer her more, his true intentions in their relationship are still very unclear. Her stay with Henry in New York is a c ...more

Wolf Prey is the third book in Nina West’s popular Wolf Cove series. This is a fantastic series and I would highly recommend it to everyone. These books are not standalones and this book picks up where Wolf Bite stops so you will need to have read the other two books in the series before starting this book.

Henry and Abbi’s relationship can best be described as complicated and dysfunctional 90% of the time. The both obviously have deep feelings for each other but like most men Henry has a hard ti

Whew, that as hot. Wolf Prey picks up where Wolf Bite left off. Abbi is back home to help take care of things while her dad recovers. I feel like so much happens in this book and to me it was almost like a first half and a second half, even though the timeline isn’t disrupted. I have to say I love seeing how much Abbi has changed and found herself. This book wasn’t filled with too much drama and it was all, for the most part, expected.

There was something oddly sweet about this, otherwise, hot and heavy third installation to the Wolf Cove series. Abbi returns home from her summer in Alaska to help run her family farm when her father has a heartattack. Her mother is ecstatic to have her daughter back, thinking she can finally put her on the "right course" of life. Her ex is loving it--thinking that it's finally his time to right past wrongs and move on--together. Abbi is anywhere but sharing the same thoughts with her mother an ...more
