Midnight Hero was an awesome ride filled with action, danger and a couple who loved each other.

Con is a SWAT officer, and for the new year's is planning to pop the question and go to bed with his girlfriend Bailey who he has been dating for six-months. He adores Bailey, she is different than all the women he has known. When he goes to meet her in the morning he can sense something is wrong, Bailey seems upset.

I really enjoyed this book - first of all I'm a sucker for men in uniform especially of the law enforcement persuasion. Then, Conall the hero is a SWAT officer - a kick the door down, catch bullets in the mouth SWAT officer. Y.u.m.m.y.

I was frankly amazed by the amount of research the author must have done for this book - turns out Con is one of a family of officers - all four O'Rourke brothers. While it doesn't seem that Con and his bookworm girlfriend Bailey would be a match made in heaven, yo
