My Best Friend's Deceit
Tremaine Martin and his fiancé Karlie Lewis were two average Americans living in the small town of White Castle, Louisiana. Tremaine worked as an A class carpenter in industrial plants to provide a living for his family while Karlie attended school working towards becoming a marriage counselor. They both grew up in conditions that drove them to be the close knit couple that they have become. With each of them experiencing levels of abuse from their mothers, they were determined to be there for one another. All they want is to live a simple life and provide better conditions for their own children they plan to have in the future.
For the most part, that is exactly the life they have been living. That is until one of Tremaine's best friends Joshua came back into the picture. Joshua moved away right after high school but jumped at a job opportunity in his hometown. Now he is back and has some secrets and hidden agendas that he is anxiously awaiting to reveal.
Jacobi, another childhood friend of Tremaine and Joshua, quickly senses that things just aren't right with Joshua. He tries to warn him but Tremaine does not take heed to Jacobi's warnings. Joshua is willing to silence Jacobi at any cost. When secrets are revealed and jealousy rears its ugly head, will Tremaine and Karlie continue to live the simple life they love or will it all come crashing down once Joshua puts everything on the table?

Wow!
I wasn’t expecting a lot of things that happened to happens from the parents to everything with that good ole crazy fool!! I won’t name him lol I thoroughly enjoyed this book poking forward to reading more from this author!

This was an amazing read.. Can't believe she is a first time author.. The storyline was very original and it was so realistic.. I was on tha edge of my seat tryin to figure out what was gunna happen next.. Once I got towards tha end and saw where it was goin ma feelins were so hurt.. I prayed that ma thoughts were incorrect. This is a 1 sitting type of read.. I had to finish it and see what went down.. I loved that I felt like I knew all the characters.. No drug dealers, trap houses or side Chicks..lol It touched on so many subjects and topics that we're dealing with today.. If you haven't read tha book DON'T read any further.. Erica why Cobi tho?? I loved him from tha moment he was introduced.

OMG!!
Erica really left a message in this debut. I'm at a loss of words for Cobi. As for Josh, Tyler & Evelyn... wow!!! They're evil. Josh needs medical attention and he has clearly lost his mind. I won't give the story away, but this is a must read & I'm anxious to read the follow up.

I can say Erica work should receive more than 5 stars. The ending will have you in tears with Cobi situation. That situation is very known in today. I could see everything playing out because we see so much on tv. The scenes throughout the book was visual. Erica descriptions was not too much and was not over the top. The book was very detailed. I love how Tre was so in love with Karlie and he did not let anything get in the way. What you will see with his mother is pathetic. I disliked her and I’m sure she will not gain anything back in part 2. Tre deserves to be happy, but he cannot catch a break because of this certain looney character. Josh character will make you want to put a hit out on him yourself. The relationships in this book was harmed by so much hate and jealousy. I don’t want to spoil it but the lies, past infidelities, shocking secrets, and storyline will have you wanting more. There’s several strong messages….they will blow your mind on how a book can bring them out.

Erica and I worked together at a local Doctors office, she was a sweet young girl, who was still in high school. I would pay Erica to write my college paper also do the necessary corrections. She was a good typist and a good writer, I never thought this was the way that she would go. Erica is so talented! This book is a little taste of what's in stored for us! This book had me all into my feelings, I was scared at times and then she threw in some sex , I felt like her mom and I truly scream, No Sex !!! Lol, Erica and Marcus it was great and a pleasure to read. God bless you!!

Great read and message
This was a great read for this to be your first book. Every page had drama or kept me reading. My only complaint was that it seemed to move so fast. It's like Josh instantly started messing up their lives as soon as he moved back. I wish they would've rekindled their friendship first. Josh is psycho and needs real help. I don't like Evelyn either and Tre need to just give up on their relationship if she can't get it together. The Cobi scene was extremely sad. I hope they get justice. The message in the end was everything! If only more of us thought like that. Can't wait to read part 2.

Never thought when I pick this book up I would be learning a life's lesson....
KUDOS TO THIS AUTHOR AND HER UNIQUE WAYS OF TELLING THIS STORY.....IM AWED AT THE PRESENTATION OF THESE EVENT BUT THE DECEPTION WAS REAL......

This book touched on EVERYTHING. The things that are going on today!! I hope they get that crooked cop!! Joshua wrong for coming there messing up people lives. I was glad that Karlie and trey was able to see thru that mess!! Poor Kobie!!!! I hope Evelyn gets what she deserves too with her trifling butt!!. #waitingonpart2
