Start your review of Find Your Fit: A Practical Guide to Landing a Job You'll Love

The writing style is a little dry and doesn't engage the reader. I guess I want a little more personality with my advice. Perhaps the decision to use a different writer for each chapter contributes to this off-putting feel. Nonetheless, I found the advice sound, especially the LinkedIn and self-brand marketing. The rest of the book, networking, resume writing, etc, is standard fare that can be found online or in other more engaging books.

To start, I received this novel from the Goodreads giveaways.
This book was extremely well written. There was a great amount of reference to help you on your way to landing a job you'll love. I liked that there were a multitude of different people giving sound advice. However, I rated this novel three stars for mainly one reason. While the novel would be good in helping a person find the job that fits for them, this book is not geared to all jobs. If I were looking to go into the business sector ...more

I have read a lot of books on a productive process of the job hunt and so far this one is the best. It is amazing how the editor Sue Kaiden with a dozen of other career coaches and professionals were able to put together such an invaluable resource for people who are seeking new jobs. From assessments to career plans to personal branding and so much more. I also found a countless number of useful links on coaching, assessment tools, productivity tools, professional development, the list goes on
