Tips to all billionaire: if you're trying to marry a woman for love: 1. DO NOT offer marriage proposal as a business proposition and trying to sell the idea of a stable household for the kid is a sure way to fail. 2. If you are going to bedazzle her with your love, taking her and the kid to an extravagant holiday might soften her up a bit but dude seriously what else have you done to prove your love? We as a reader saw nothing, so I don't really blame the poor girl. All you did was offer marriage because it was good for the kid, took them on a holiday because you want to know the kid, offered marriage again because it was the kid and in between that you dished out insults about her failed and violent past relationship. Sorry, at exactly which point was she supposed to figure out you were head over heals in love with her? Somebody, slap him silly!
This had a lot potential, but it seemed unfinished and, more importantly, there was little chemistry between the two main characters.
The h has moved back from Australia to England. She has left memories of an abusive relationship behind. Lo and behold she ends up the secretary of the twin brother of the abusive father of her child. Okay, it sounds worse than it is. Okay, maybe it doesn't since I gave it two stars.
There was just no connection between the two. Not one of Cathy Williams best.
Plus I really don't like it when characters or anyone go from one sibling to another hence the ick factor.
