This was a re-read, and a book that I will listen to again on Audible, as in my opinion it has invaluable advice.

Once again another gift to my favourite industry in Canada, the mortgage industry. I used to call him the Wayne Gretzky of the mortgage industry but after consideration I have to change that to I don't know what. The reason being that Wayne Gretzky was the greatest player but not a very good coach because he could not relate to players with less talent whereas Dustan is both.
He lays out a winning game plan that will allow any newbie (or veteran stuck in a rut) a clear path to achieving effective results full of integrity. He makes it clear that it is not an easy road, nor a get rich quick scheme, but a path that is going to be challenging but rewarding if followed. Your clients will benefit, you will benefit, your referral partners will benefit and your family will benefit. Win-Win-Win-Win.
If you are new to this industry or continually love to grow in this great profession it is easily a must read.

I listened to Volume 1 on Audible, it was such a great book that I moved onto Volume 2 straight away.

Volume 1 was about the things you should conside before embaring on your career as a Mortgage Broker, Volume 2 is about the first 100 days of your new career as a Mortgage Broker.

This is a 9 hour book on Audible and I'm 2 hours into it.
I purchased Volume 3 yesterday, it is that good, with Volume 3 having letters and templates to use in your business.

Once again, Dustan never seems to let you down. Volume 2 continues to add value into a brokers life by sharing such valuable content and business practices. Read this and also listened to the audio version (via Audible). A longer read than Vol 1, which means a lot more great content. The best "training manual" you can ever get is this entire series. Currently reading Vol 3 and can't wait to get Vol 4!

The audiobook version is proofed and it turned out great. These books are living documents and I look forward to fine tuning the writing further still.

Such a good book full of helpful information for the new mortgage professional, a training manual of sorts that is sadly missing in this industry.

I learned a lot of things that I didn't realize but also confirmed a lot of the things I've already been doing for several years as a mortgage loan officer. It also confirmed that I am made for this industry and it will only help me become even better. Good stuff.

This was a good book about learning to operate a successful mortgage brokering business. As a beginner in the mortgage industry, my key takeaways were:

*Ask and verify everything on the application with no exceptions.

*The best use of your time when starting is to take as many mortgage applications as possible

*Network and nurture positive relationships with everyone, whether they are a current customer or referral partner, or a future customer or referral partner.

Gold!

Each volume (so far) should be required reading for brokers contemplating this industry to those that are either 100 days in or 10 years in.

Regardless of your volume goals, this information will only make you better at what you do as a mortgage broker and ultimately elevate our segment of the industry!

Thank you Mr, Woodhouse.....again

Another great read from Dustan filled with tips and tactics to be great. Volume 2 shares what it takes to be one of the most successful brokers in the industry. These truths can not only be applied to the business of mortgage brokering, but can easily be applied in other industries. This book will reviewed and studied more than once and shared many times. Anxiously awaiting Volume 3.

Volume 2… File Complete!
On to Volume 3.

Dustan has a very particular set of skills; skills that he has developed over a very long career…
I caught that cheeky reference you dropped in there, Dustan.

Excellent book!
I highly recommend it for all mortgage brokers and MLOs.
