A nice holiday novella and because it was so short it was a love at second sight. There was lots of action much of which incorporated old fashioned Christmas events. A light enjoyable read for the season. Dr. Anita gets an emergency patient and is unable to attend the Mallory family feast so cowboy Colin braves the storm to try and fetch her.

If you are busy and don't think you can read then read this book. It is a quick read but feels like a longer book. I have recently found R.C. Ryan and she has joined with my rereads. Colin is 40 and wants his own family besides his big family. It is a blizzard on Christmas Eve. He is hoping the girl he likes can make it to their family dinner. It turns to Anita to stay in her uncle's doctor office as their take-over doctor is stuck. Colin volunteers to drive into town to get her. Spoiler. They a ...more

If you want to read a book that gives you the warm and fuzzies, this is it. Totally sweet with a hint of spice (Just like Yancy’s Snickerdoodles), A Cowboy’s Christmas Eve by Ruth Ryan Langan is a cute Christmas novella to start off the season.

Okay, so I was missing a little backstory. This novella is part of the Malloys of Montana series. I guess Colin wasn’t getting a full novel

Colin is coming home in time for Christmas eve, while he loves his family this Christmas eve is because of who is coming to dinner. He hopes he can catch her eye and her heart while she's there. However it seems the weather has other plans for each of them.
Anita can't stop thinking about the hot, sexy cowboy who has her attention and when she gets ready to head to his families house for dinner it seems that mother nature and emergency keep them from coming together. Will they be able to finally

Thus far, I have enjoyed both books (MATT, LUKE) in the Malloys of Montana series by R.C. Ryan and A Cowboy’s Christmas Eve is the perfect novella to accompany them. Sweet, with the added flavor of some light suspense, action, and drama, A Cowboy’s Christmas Eve is a quick, fun, and thoroughly entertaining romance read.

Anita Cross is an intelligent, successful, endearing woman who deserves to meet a good man, a many worthy of a woman like her. Luckily, strong, kind-hea

Colin enjoys working the family ranch and spending time with family, but has eyes for the sexy town doctor. So when a storm hits and his mother sends him out to retrieve the sexy doctor, nothing will stop him.

Anita is the new doctor, she is working for her uncle at his clinic. But then she gets stranded at the clinic from the terrible storm, but the handsome rancher who she has been ogling comes pounding on her door she is all too happy to see him.

Great read

Cute story, but much to short. Watching two very different people working together is always enjoyable. I love stories about doctors and how they overcome illness and injuries.

This one was a really good story. Just way to short.Once I started to read it,I didn't want it to end.

Colin Malloy is looking forward to Christmas dinner at his family’s house. This year, the beautiful new doctor in town will be there, so he’ll be able to admire her from afar. Dr. Anita Cross is looking forward to having her first Christmas at the Mallowy family ranch. When she gets snowed in at the local hospital, Colin makes the journey through a blizzard to bring her home.
This was a cute read. Pretty predictable, but nice for the holiday season.

Silent Night, Snowy Night . . . Colin Malloy enjoys spending Christmas with his family at the Malloy ranch. But this holiday, what he really wants to do is to get closer to the alluring Dr. Anita Cross. So when a blizzard conspires to keep her from joining the Malloy family’s festivities, neither snow, sleet, nor spun-out cars will prevent Colin from rea

A Cowboy’s Christmas Eve is a funny, quirky, quick and just plain fun story to add to the Christmas collection.

Colin has his eye on the new doctor to join her uncle’s clinic in town. Anita could kiss his boo-boo any ole time. Trouble is, she doesn’t know he’s interested enough to start something, but he’s about to change that this Christmas Eve. The plan had been to bring Anita and her uncle out to the ranch for the big Christmas celebration. But you know about best

Colin Malloy lives in Glacier Ridge, Montana. It's Christmas Eve and there's been a snowstorm, yet again. He would love nothing more than to stay at home where it's warm and dry. However, he can't miss Christmas Eve supper with the family at the ranch. The added bonus this year is newcomer, Dr. Anita Cross will be joining them. She's been in his thoughts a lot lately, that is one beautiful woman. He volunteers to go into town and get her and bring her to the ranch. But, incidents happen and he w ...more

The words solid, dependable, and honorable filled her mind.
Colin Malloy was all that.
And sexy as hell.

Ain't that the truth. Colin Malloy is the sexiest of the sexy Malloy of Montana cowboys, and that's saying something. They've all proven to be hotter than hell and kind as can be so far.

Oh, how I hoped for a book for Colin and Anita while reading both Matt and Luke. And when I discovered this Christmas novella...well, I was beyond happy. And now I'm finished? I'm even further beyond happy. I

Cowboys and Christmas! What's not to love?

Colin Malloy is everything a Montana cowboy should be. Strong, masculine, good looking, caring and sexy. And he has his eye on the pretty new doctor in town, Dr. Anita Cross. When a blizzard causes Anita to get stuck at the clinic alone with no electricity and no heat, Colin comes to the rescue. Even with the constant interruptions of a break-in, injured patients arriving and a baby being born, the heat between Colin and Anita keeps sparking. And to top

I love Colin. He's kind of been in the background in the other books in this series. He gave up a lot to help care for his three nephews. Now that they are grown he's 40 and wondering if it's finally time for him to have a life to find love. Just so happens Dr. Anita Cross moved to town and he can't help himself around here. He's drawn to her. When a snowstorm keeps her at the clinic to care for patients he volunteers to pick her up and bring her to the ranch. The snowstorm isn't going to make i ...more

I just love this family and this Christmas Eve story just reinforces it. Colin doesn't want to miss his moms Christmas Eve dinner or her special guest Anita Cross. Anita and her uncle are the doctors in town and have now where else to go so the Mallory ranch is picking them up but when an emergency shows up Anita has to stay until the relief doctor shows up. Grace is worried so when Colin volunteers to go get her his mom is happy but he goes in a ditch from the blizzard and has to walk to get th ...more

This is my first R.C. Ryan read and I absolutely adored it! This novella has everything! Christmas-themed small-town setting with a rough-around-the-edges cowboy and a new-in-town doctor from the big city. Throw in a snowstorm, some crazy medical emergencies and a few Christmas miracles sprinkled in and you have the makings of great story!

A COWBOY’S CHRISTMAS EVE filled me with all kinds of warm and wonderful feelings. I loved the characters and I wanted to know more about this Malloy family as

Colin is a cowboy. Anita is the new clinic doctor. She has an invitation to Colin's family Christmas Eve, which is a big event. However, she is snowed-in at the clinic. Colin sets out to bring her to the Christmas Eve dinner, but he gets snowed-in with her.

It is a good thing (and quite convenient) that Dr. Anita is at the clinic, as it seems that everyone in the rural community needs her on that night. These situations have gaps in reality, but they do not deter from the storyline. Colin makes

I was lucky enough to have this little Christmas gem to read right after
Luke and I didn't miss a beat. Jumped right into it as I knew the series
background. I just love reading romances about characters that are a little older than the average demographics. This is a very quick read and you quickly come to see what type of doctor Anita is and how determined Colin is to spend Christmas Eve with her. If you read any of the other books in this series, you'll love getting a chance to say hello again

A sweet, short story. About 89 pages. Some cliche' lines, like, her smile was as bright as the sun, and his word was his bond. But I liked the story and I liked the main characters, Anita and Colin. This book made me want to read the rest of the Malloys of Montana series.

I received this book from for a review.
